She was employed by American Fidelity Insurance Co. in Montpelier. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, George; two daughters, Karen Gordon and Sandra Lunde; a sister; five granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; longtime friend, Gordon Wing.

, 37, of Barre City, died July 6. Born in 1961 in Barre City, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Elisabeth (Ramon) Bacon. She attended Barre schools and graduated from Spaulding High School. She had worked in the office of Ben & Jerry's in Waterbury. She married Steve Burrington, they were divorced. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd (Episcopal) in Barre. Survivors include her mother; two sisters, Felicia Martineau and Susan Walker; two nieces; two nephews; one aunt; cousins; and longtime companion, George Kidder.

He owned and operated Couillard's Body Shop in South Burlington and was also employed by General Dynamics. She graduated from Carl Schurz High School in Chicago and worked for March and McLennon Insurance Co. in Chicago. She moved to Montpelier in 1994. Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Youngman; five nieces, Marilyn Johnson, Carol Rader, Diane Carlson, Georgianne Oehlberg and Susan Attig; two nephews, James Oelhberg and Robert Youngman.

Survivors include her husband, John Calandrella; a son, Craig Ouellette; her mother, Glenora Rogers; a sister; a brother; four nephews; one niece; several aunts.

, 57, of Barre City, died July 4. Born in 1941 in Barre City, he was the son of Aldo and Anita (Vila) Vanetti. He graduated from Spaulding High School and from the University of Vermont with a BA in Political Science. He was also commissioned a 2nd lieutenant of infantry in the Army ROTC program. He graduated from law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He served in Vietnam and in 1971, became a member of the Bar of the State of Vermont. He had been Washington County probate judge and had been a practicing attorney in the Barre-Montpelier area. He was a member of the Hedding United Methodist Church. Survivors include his mother; one sister, Cynthia Vanetti; cousins.

, 92, formerly of Chelsea, died July 2. Born in 1907 in Chelsea, he was the son of Hale and Maybelle (Hyde) Darling. He served in the Navy during WWII, retiring in 1959. He attended schools in Waterloo and became a master autobody technician, working in his family's business, Worden's Auto in Foster, Que. In 1955, he married Ona Bostwick, who died in 1992. He had lived in Conn. and moved to Waterbury in 1969. He opened Rod's Autobody, retiring in 1995. Survivors include one daughter, Candice Russell; two sons, Chucky and Rodney Jr.; one brother; one sister; three grandsons; three granddaughters; a great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.

She had been a secretary at Tarbell and Whitman Insurance Agency in So. Royalton for 24 years and was a receptionist at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in White River Jct., retiring in 1997. She served in the Air Force and was a member of the St. Matthew's Catholic Church in So. Royalton. Survivors include her daughter, Connie Bestenbostel; a brother; two sisters; her special friend, Betty Wood; two grandchildren.

She was first employed as a secretary at the Chase Manhattan Bank in N.Y. City and later at Wright Aeronautical Corp. in N.J. She had also worked as a teller at former People's National Bank in Barre and was secretary in the office of the Barre Congregational Church. In 1951, she married Howard Fairbanks. They made they home in Barre and more recently in East Montpelier. She was a member of the Barre Congregational Church. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jill Tremblay and Gail Fairbanks; four grandchildren; a sister-in-law; two nieces; one grand-niece.

Survivors include two brothers, Gordon and Ernest; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

High School and the family moved to Los Angeles. In 1924, she married William Orr. She was a secretary with the Los Angeles County Health Department, retiring in 1972. She attended the Williamstown Lutheran Church. Survivors include her son, Bill and wife Catherine; two sisters, Victoria Sturgis and Louise Thompson; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

He attended schools in Graniteville, South Barre and Williamstown and graduated from Williamstown High School. He served with the Army Signal Corps during WWII. In 1945, he married Janice M. Briggs. He owned and operated a farm in Chelsea, worked at the Rock of Ages Capacitor Plant in Barre and was manager at Belmain's Store in So. Royalton. He worked at Lacillade Lumber Company and was town clerk and treasurer of Williamstown. He later worked for the Vermont Department of Agriculture, retiring in 1980. He was a former member of the Presbyterian Church of Graniteville and the Methodist Church of Chelsea. He was a member of the United Federated Church (Methodist) in Williamstown. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Lee and Norman; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers; nieces and nephews.

Survivors include two sons, Roger Jr. and Russell; four daughters, Debbie Rouleau, Michele Lynch, Diana McWain and Tricia Rouleau; three sisters; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
