He served in the Army during WWII. In 1945, he married Edith Martel. He had worked on the railroad and later at Jones Brothers Granite, retiring in 1981. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Thomas and Patrick; four grandchildren; two sisters.

She was a member of the Twinfield Senior Citizens Group. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Bisson and Lynne Rodgers; two sisters; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

He was a former professor of Greek and Hebrew at Nashota House Seminary, a contributing writer to several Episcopal Church publications and preached at Christ Episcopal Church. He was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Montpelier. There are no known survivors.

She graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in elementary education, a masters in speech language pathology and a certificate of advanced study in administration and planning. In 1973, she married James Redmond. She served as the speech language pathologist in Orange, Washington and Barre Town. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jamie Lynn Redmond and Katie Jo Redmond; her mother; two sisters; a brother.

Ladd Grocery Store in Barre and a member of St. Monica Church. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Patricia Bessette, Janet Dion and Michele LaPerle; one son, Richard LaPoint; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

In 1936, she married Gordon Green. She was an inspector at Bridgewater Woolen in Bridgewater. She and her husband raised and trained Belgian sheepdogs. She was a member of Beth-El Christian Fellowship Church in So. Royalton. The couple owned and operated the Chanticleer Diner in Jamestown, N.Y. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jamestown. Survivors include her husband, Gus Root; six children, Eric Root, Jude Carroll, Heidi Root, Gary Root, Karen Grimm and Daniel Root; 15 grandchildren; one sister; several nieces and nephews.

He was a sandblaster in the granite industry working for Comolli and Son Granite Co. and for Houle-Giudici Granite Co., both in Barre. He served in the Army during WWII. Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Bignell and Angelina Newell; three sons, Kenneth, Robert and Thomas; a sister; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

He had been an insurance agent for Prudential since 1980. He was also a stockbroker for Moseley Brokerage, First Albany Corp. and later with A.G. Edwards Co. in Barre. He had served with the Army and was a member of St. Monica Parish. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kristin Zanleoni and Karen Zanleoni; a son, Jay; his mother; one sister.
