He received his early education in West Topsham and graduated from Bradford Academy. He had been a milk hauler and for the past 10 years, was a vending foreman for the Coca-Cola company. He was a selectman in Orange and a member of Tri-Village Fire Department. Survivors include a son, Bruce; two daughters, Bonnie O'Meara and Marie O'Meara; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers; his companion, Pearl Modica; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

, 68, of Bethel, died Jan. 22. Born in Waltham, Mass., he was the son of Frank and Nathalie (Miller) Farrell. He was educated in Lowell, Mass. and South Royalton schools. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Navy and retiring in 1966. Following retirement from the military, he worked at G.W. Plastics in Bethel, White River Junction Post Office and more recently at Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center. He retired in 1991.

He graduated from Suffield Academy in Connecticut and later earned a teaching degree. He served in the Navy. He taught in West Springfield, Mass., before moving to Barre in 1994. He worked as a substitute teacher in Barre, Berlin and U-32 school districts. Survivors include his mother.

She had worked at Rock of Ages Capacitor plant and Whalen's Drug Store in Barre and was a nurses' aide at McFarland House and Woodridge Nursing Home. In 1932, she married Wesley Guyete Sr., who died in 1974. She was a member of the Church of Good Shepherd (Episcopal). Survivors include a son, Wesley Guyette Jr.; a grandson; nieces and nephews.

She also did private care. She entered the ministry of the Church of God of Prophecy and was pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy in Middlesex. She was a budget secretary and statistician for the Springfield Community Chest and Council of Social Agency. They moved to Royalton following retirement in 1972. She was a member of the United Church of South Royalton. Survivors include a foster son, Anthony Adams; a foster daughter, Margit Kohl; five foster grandchildren; two foster great-granddaughters.

He was also a master plumber and electrician, working for Barre Housing and Bombardier Corp. He retired in 1997 due to illness. He was a member of the Army Reserve and St. Monica Parish. He was married to Shaa Benedini and later to Lora Staples. Nancy Bergeron had been his caregiver since his illness. Survivors include his mother; two sons, Kino and Shem Clark; a brother, Douglas; a nephew; three nieces; aunts, uncles and cousins.

He attended schools in Ridgewood, N.J. and graduated from high school there and from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. He purchased a farm in Royalton, operating it until he retired in 1969. He then worked for the University of Vermont Extension Service and was an assistant professor at the College of Agriculture. In 1941, he married Elizabeth Pike, who died in 1946. In 1947, he married Helen Phipard. He was a member of the United Church of Royalton. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Thomas, John and C. Stuart; two daughters, Catherine Romeo and Nancy Hatch; a brother; six grandchildren; a niece and a nephews.
