He was a member of St. Monica Parish and a 42-year employee of Buttura & Sons Granite, retiring in 1981. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael and Robert; three daughters, Suzanne (Mrs. William) Stone, Sandra (Mrs. Richard) Kelly and Sheila (Mrs. Robert) Rochefort; 14 grand-children; three great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; many nieces and nephews.

She received her early education in Montpelier and graduated from Montpelier High School. In 1945, she married Frank Stone. She was a secretary at National Life Insurance Company and a former member of St. John's Church (Episcopal) in Walpole, N.H. Evans Company, Merrill Transportation and Dubois Trucking and later worked as a painter for Brothers Building Company, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Moretown United Methodist Church. She was a member of Bradford Congregational Church. Survi-vors include four nephews, Clarence Kent, Charles Kent II, George Kent Jr. and Ralph Kent; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces.

He is survived by his wife, Ola Mae (Tow) Riddel.

She had owned her own hair salon in Hanover, N.H. and also was a tour hostess for Maine Line Tours. Her husband, Harold McClellan, predeceased her. Survivors include two stepsons, Gerald and Stephen McClellan; two stepdaughters, Juliann Putt and Bonnie Hooper; three nieces; seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.

High School. In 1943, he married Kathryn Slifka, who died in 1968. In 1969, he married Doris (Stewart) Cannan. He served with the Army during WWII. He first worked at Agway in New York and then as plant superintendent with Ethan Allen in N.Y., retiring from there in 1971 after moving to Randolph and becoming the plant manager there. He then operated his own furniture store in Randolph. Survivors include his wife; one son, Keith; one daughter, Patricia Mayer; three stepchildren, Diane Lane, Donald Cannan and Deborah Delany; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; seven step-great-grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters.

He operated Williams Garage on Route 15 in Wolcott until the early 1970s, when he retired. He was affiliated with the United Church of Hardwick.
