He worked for Central Vermont Railroad, Clifford sand and Gravel and Ray Kilburn. Recently he was self-employed cutting and trimming trees. Lewis Sr., who died in 1982. She had lived in Brattleboro and worked for the Estey Organ Company. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Waterbury. Survivors include two sons, Lynn Jr. and Paul; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.

He had worked for more than 40 years at Brooksie's Restaurant and Catering Service in Sharon and later worked in catering many events in central Vermont, including the Tunbridge World's Fair. In 1956, he married Alice E. Higgins. She worked as a hairdresser at the Lila Beauty Shop in Barre and in 1960, moved to Merrimack, N.H. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy. Before retirement, she was employed at Soucy's Market in Nashua, N.H. and as a secretary for Pratt & Whitney in Conn. She is the widow of Albert McDonald, who died in 1979. Survivors include a son, Robert; three daughters, Sylvia Thurlow-Coyle, Sherry Collins and Alice Marzoli; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

He was educated in Brattleboro public schools, Amherst College and Michigan Law School. He served four years in the Navy. He was first married to Frances Stott and later he married Kathryn (Fitzgerald) Anderson. He practiced law in Brattleboro until moving to Montpelier in 1974. He was active in politics and in 1967 was elected Secretary of the Vermont Senate, holding that post until his death. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; one daughter, Laura Gibson; two brothers; one sister; three grandchildren.
