Vermont Northeast Kingdom Genealogy Query - Message Board CARTER - MILLER I am seeking information on the birth, parents and siblings of my GGG Grandparents, Elliot Sawyer Carter and Cyrene Irene Miller who were married in Derby on 16 Sep 1830. I believe that Ezra Carter, Eliphalet Carter, and John Carter that lived in Derby and had kids in school from 1827 to 1863 with Elliot may have been his brothers, and I am looking for evidence of this relationship. Ezra died in Newport (1870) and is buried there and Eliphalet died (1882) and is buried in Derby. Ezra (name may have been written as Alex) and born in Stanstead (1802) to John Carter and Elizabeth Heath. I am searching for evidence that Elliot may have been born (1804) there also. Elliot moved to Bradford/Newbury VT and on to Michigan. I'm more concern with any birth records/church records or anything that can give me a clue of anyone assocated with Elliot.
