Vermont Northeast Kingdom Genealogy Query - Message Board DAVIS Looking for any info on a Moody Davis born 1785 in Vermont. Married Rebecca Morgan, daughter of Jospiah and Sarah Dodge Morgan. They lived in Sterling where they had Josiah, Julia, Adline, Moses and Almon before pulling up stakes about 1815 and moving to Ohio with their family. Moody had siblings: William, John, Amanda and Priscilla...and perhaps others. His parents stayed in the area as Moody returned to Vermont to see his 'ailing' mother sometime around 1820-1825 or so.
