FRANCES LOUISE KAY (adoptive name: GODSILL) I am desperatly seeking any information on Frances Louise Kay (my great-grandmother), who along with her sister, Margaret, was adopted at a very young age by a family named Godsill. Frances was a schoolteacher, born July 17, 1887 (d. March 1970) in Vt, and lived in Newport, St. Johnsbury and Derby, VT. She was Catholic, possibly of Irish ancestry. Her husband was Walter D. Barnard (1874-1958), an area blacksmith with his own shop. I believe they are both buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, Derby. Any information would be VERY greatly appreciated.
