Sandra (Sandy) Lou Winchester Tetrault
....show age 65 from Dalton, NH went to be with the angels and her Dad on May 15th at Littleton Regional Healthcare after fighting a courageous battle with cancer for the past 15 months
Sandra was born February 22, 1953 in Woodsville, NH at the old Cottage Hospital. She was the daughter of Claude and Elsina Winchester and sister Laurie Winchester Woolson. She was raised In Massachusetts where she attended Algonquin High School. Sandra worked at Frye shoe and met the father of her three children. Later she moved to NH where she raised her children. Through the years she worked at the local shoe shops, DCI, New England Wire, Hitchners, Red Coach Inn, and Walmart in Littleton and Woodsville until her retirement.
Sandra was very vocal and really enjoyed telling people how it was with no filter. Through her short stay in the nursing home the LNAs really enjoyed the visits to her room just so they could hear her stories and have a good laugh. One of her favorite enjoyments in life was to go fishing with her Dad and playing cards and board games with her sister but never let her win. One of her other hobbies was doing ceramics and working on unfinished crochet projects. Some of her favorite TV programs was the cooking shows, crime show dramas, and the singing competition shows. She could make us all laugh until we cried and look at us enough to say what are you laughing at.
She is predeceased by her Dad Claude Winchester 2008 and predeceased by her great nephew Trent 2003. Survived by her three children, daughter Joanna Tetrault and partner Edwin Camley of Burlington, VT, daughter Janice and husband Vince Dimick of Bethlehem, NH and son Ernest Tetrault and fiancé Robin Hobbs. Her 8 grandchildren, Chase, Travis, Tyler, Christopher, Dylan, Miranda, Cameron, and Payton. Her 10 great grandchildren, her sister Laurie Woolson and husband Mickey Woolson of Lyman NH, in her words her “beautiful nieces” Melanie Millette and partner Ryan Choate, Melinda Millette and partner Bill Covey, her great nephew Trey and great niece Emily, and lots of cousins that loved her dearly, many Aunts and Uncles and her best friend Anne.
Sandra was brought to her weekly chemo appointments by her sister Laurie. She never left her sister’s side through the many months of her fighting the disease. Laurie would go to the nursing home every day to be by Sandy’s side. They would share stories and laugh together while they reminisced. Sandra would always tell the nursing staff, “ask my sister.” That was her famous line. Sandra knew how much love her sister had for, and she was comfortable knowing her sister was the one taking care of her. Sandra’s oldest daughter spent many weekends at the nursing home with her mom. Joanna would be Sandy’s private “nurse.” She always referred to Joanna as “her rock.” Sandra enjoyed having her great-nephew, Trey, come visit. She would make him giggle when she would cheat playing cards or when she would harass him about being a “wiggle butt.” She always made jokes about the bag of snacks he had with him when he visited her and she never understood why he wasn’t 300lbs.
Sandra was a special woman that touched many lives and will be missed by all.
Travis Davis will lead a Committal Service on June 8th at 2pm at Cushman Cemetery in Dalton.

We will cherish the memories of picnics by the lake, frog hunting, and naps in the dappled sunshine. Although we will try to forget kissing those frogs we caught with Momma. She was an avid baker and loved to cook, and host family gatherings. When her kids were still living at home Momma made a different baked treat for dessert every night. Apple pies, chocolate mayonnaise cake, fresh bread, biscuits, and whoopee pies were some of the treats that helped round out her family.

She was born on June 4, 1920 in Westfield, VT to Mary Jane Sevigny and Nelson Clement Ducharme and attended a one-room schoolhouse until the 8th grade at which point she stayed home to help her mother.
Mary Alice married her husband, William Leo Mayhew of 52 years on November 4, 1939. Although she had no siblings, her parents took in a child, Edwin Norway, and raised him as their own. Mary Alice was a beloved member of the community and was a very active and devout member of her church, St. Catherine of Sienna in Lisbon, NH. She thoroughly enjoyed spending hours in her gardens and working in her yard and was often found there when not in the house preparing large meals for her family. She loved to travel as often as she could and had an appreciation for the finer things in life. She was very proud of her noble French heritage being the ninth great-granddaughter of the Marquise Marie Chantal Rabutin de Sévigné, unofficial council to King Louis XIV at the Palace of Versailles in the late 1600s and visited France twice to visit the family residences (now museums).
Of all her interests, nothing was more important to her than her family and she would do anything in her means to support, care and defend. Mary Alice would sacrifice her own needs for those of her family and close friends. She is predeceased by her late husband William Leo in 1991 and a son Elmer Joseph, born 11/2/56 and died 11/4/56. She is survived by her three children, Rochelle Villeneuve of Landaff, NH, Jane Scovill (and husband Clifford) of East Hampton, CT and Francis Mayhew (and wife Doreen) of Middletown, CT; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grand children and 7 great-great grandchildren.
An evening viewing will take place on Tuesday evening, May 1st from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Ross Funeral Home at 282 West Main Street in Littleton, NH. A Roman Catholic memorial mass will take place on Wednesday, May 2nd at 10:00am at St. Catherine of Sienna in Lisbon, NH and burial at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Lowell, VT at 1:00pm.
Roxanne Busch
....show of Sugar Hill, NH, beloved daughter of now deceased Morris and Evelyn Busch of Newark , NJ, Farmingdale NJ and San Diego, CA, passed away on Sunday morning October 8 at the Lafayette Center Genesis Healthcare Rehab facility. She is survived by her brother Michael Busch of San Diego, California and his sons Evan Busch of Somerville MA, and Justin Busch of Irvine, CA, father of Rachel Busch, Roxanne’s grandniece. Roxanne is also survived by a number of close cousins and friends from around the country. Roxanne, known to many of her friends and relatives as Rox or Roxie, grew up in Newark, New Jersey and then attended Montclair State University with a major in History and minor in Physical Education. It was there that she started a 50 year friendship with Herb Bachman from Ocean Grove, NJ. After teaching at Rahway High School in Rahway, NJ, she went on to graduate studies, earning an MEd in Kinesiology at UNC-Greenboro. In 1966 she moved to Buffalo where she taught and coached tennis, bowling and fencing at State University College at Buffalo for 8 years and then later moved back to New Jersey where she was the fencing coach at TCNJ, Trenton, NJ. In 1977 she started 3 years of coursework for her EdD at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. It was at Temple that she went on to be a Teaching Assistant, Assistant Professor and then Academic Professional. She taught in the Kinesiology Department where she also recruited and advised students. Roxanne moved to Sugar Hill, NH in 1996 where she found a new sense of “home”, developed many close friends and became involved in many community activities. She also continued her work with Temple University until just a year ago, as their New England Regional Admissions Representative.
Roxanne was an avid sports fan, and had every sports station Direct TV could offer her in northern New Hampshire. She was also an avid reader, a collector of antiques, and a political devotee to the Democratic Party. Through her years living in Sugar Hill, besides her professional work for Temple University, she had experiences assisting at local businesses such as Harman Cheese and Country Store, Loon Mountain, and Dreaming Pig Antiques in Lincoln.
Roxanne was very much a “people person” who loved socializing with all those that she met in her local environment, in her many road trips around the country, and her travels through the years. She had a fun and enjoyable sense of humor, found particular value in the education process, and cherished the family and friends in her life. Her brother and many cousins will miss her very much as she served as the elder cousin who always reminded them of the stories and memories that bound them together as a family. Her family would like to acknowledge all her special friends in North Country, with particular thanks to Beth, Pam, and Ronnie, and Herb and Jim from Ocean Grove, NJ who were a significant support especially in the last months of Roxanne’s life.
