1982 -2017, Accidently in Perth, Ontario, on August 7, 2017 at the age of 35, formally from Kitchener, Ontario. Samantha was the beloved daughter of Henk and Vicki Stremmelaar of Stanstead.
She was a dear sister to Amber (Aaron), a loving aunt to Nethaneal, Benjamen, Hannah and a special grand-daughter to Nana (Marion Cox). She is predeceased by her beloved Papa (John Cox). She also leaves to mourn her aunts Wendy Luce (Keith), Shelley Clark (Kevin) as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
She leaves her beloved Chris Zimmerman and her very very best friends Danielle Kennedy (Chad) and Amber Van Wyck, as well as all the many friends, co-workers and members of the Kitchener community. She was loved by all who knew her.

Loving wife of the late Garth Carson, mother to Mary and Lois (David Jones) and grandmother to Dylan Jones (Katie Castro) and Caleb Jones (Laurène Jardin). Daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Horan, she is survived by brother George Horan and sisters Deveda Morrill, Elva Lockwood and Murdeena Jordan as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Andrew, Gordon, Carl and Clair Douglas Horan, and sisters Eileen Carson and Leola Kazulak.
Hazel was a well-known teacher in the community of Richmond where she taught for more than 30 years at St. Francis Elementary School. She was a graduate of Macdonald College and Bishop’s University.
She will be lovingly remembered for her dedication to her family and friends and her commitment to the community where she was a member of many organizations including the Women’s Institute (Gore).
A service in memory of Hazel will be held at St. Anne’s Anglican Church, Richmond, on Sunday, August 27 at 3 p.m.

Surrounded by his family, Dale Hartley passed away at the Hôtel Dieu hospital on August 30, 2017 at the Age of 63, husband to Margaret Brus and son of Gordon and Zita Hartley.

She was a loving companion to the late Irvin Cosgrove and a dear daughter to the late Verian McCoy and the late Norman Brown. Jenny was a fierce fighter, a positive life-loving woman who touched and enriched the lives of countless people. She was a creative and generous soul with a quirky sense of humour, who always seemed to know someone no matter where she went.
She will be profoundly missed by her loving daughter Robyn (Jarrod Tetreault); her cherished grandchildren Hannah and Grace; her stepchildren: Kelley (Rick), Tracy (Francis), Erin and Tara (Kevin); her brother Winston (Rosemarie Brown); her sisters Dianne (Eric White) and Faye (Roger Bronson). Passed away peacefully in his 25th year on October 26, 2017, at 5:25 pm Saskatchewan time at the Regina General Hospital with his mother Ngaire DeNora by his side. Myles sustained two very serious brain injuries after an ATV accident on October 8 and never regained consciousness.
Myles is the cherished and beloved son of Ngaire DeNora and the late Joseph Alfred Labrecque. He is the cherished grandson of John DeNora and Nancy Stewart and the late Elinor DeNora, the late Gladys Audrey Parr Labrecque and Joseph Clifford Labrecque. Myles will be remembered with love by his uncles Sean (Helene), Miles (Marianne), Peter (Emily), Phil (the late Diana), his aunts Sally (Kevin), Gill, Helen, Beverly, Joyce, Shirley, and his great-aunts Mary, Pat (the late Roger), Linda (Gordon), and Yolanda (Bill), and all their families.
Myles will be sadly missed by his girlfriend, Karinda Dawn, of Kipling, Saskatchewan, and remembered fondly by his brother Allan Labrecque and numerous cousins, particularly Adam, Johan, Elinor, Cheryl, Brenda, Shelley, Sarah, Todd (Nancy), Meghan, Colin, Chris, Seth and Ryan.
Myles has incredibly loyal and good friends because he was an incredibly loyal and good friend, to Dan Sylvester, Nathan Johan, Mike Dutka, Jane Millar, Cameron Winter, Corey Winter, Corey Wilson, Sam Godbout, Adam Patton, and Jessie Cunningham, to name only a few of those who are heartbroken by their loss.
Myles learned welding in Lennoxville and had a successful career in that profession, first at Wulftec in Ayer’s Cliff and then with Seed Hawk in Saskatchewan. He was an enthusiastic self-taught guitar player and owned several different guitars. He was always active and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was also an avid animal lover and will be missed by his dog Tyson and his cat Holly. It is with much sadness that we announce her passing on October 26th, 2017 at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Judson and the late Eliza Farwell.
She is survived by her brother Donnie (Olene), her sister Jean (late Louis Monty) and her brother-in-law Bill Hudson (late Joyce), many nieces & nephews and very close friends.
Norma was predeceased by her brothers Albert (late Violet), Arthur, and sisters Esther (late Clovis Côté) and Joyce (Bill Hudson).
Norma was born in Compton and later her parents moved to Ayer’s Cliff.
For many years she was a truly dedicated teacher. She was a very wise person, her voice and lessons will remain in our hearts. She enjoyed music, especially opera, cross-country skiing and curling.
She will be greatly missed.

Carole was the daughter of Maurice Ewing and Jeanne Poulin. Dearly loved mother of Jan (Gordon Saray), Lisa, and Paul (Lois Miller) and grandmother to Amy and Elliott Saray, Elyse, Leah and Anna Driver, Rosa and Marcella Driver-Moliner.
Carole will be greatly missed by her brothers Dennis Ewing (Denise) and Ron Ewing (Theresa), her brothers in-law Galen Driver (Heather) and Norman Allard (Lorna), many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family would like at this time to thank the staff of the Connaught (Grace Village) and very recently the Wales Home for the excellent and warm care she received over the last several months.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 18th, 2017 between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00pm at the Township of Melbourne Hall located at 1257 Route 243, Melbourne, Quebec. Please join us and share your favourite memories. A spring burial of ashes will be announced at a later date.

Tena passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont, Sherbrooke, on November 4, 2017 at the age of 88.
She was the daughter of the late Abram and Bathy Harder.
She leaves to mourn her daughter Shirley and her sons Fred (Sherri), Clifford, and Donnie, her grandchildren Aylssa, Sam, Erica, Spencer, Justin, Ian and Katie, her many great grandchildren and her sisters Mary, Sarah and Susie. Tena was predeceased by her sisters Margaret and Helen and her brothers Peter, Abe and John.
A private burial service was held at the Greenwood Cemetery Waterville as per Tena’s wishes.
“Shultz” will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Passed away peacefully at the Wales Home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the age of 92. Born in Veghel Holland. She was the daughter to Hendricus Verbeek and Maria Johanna van der Pol, and wife to the late Peter Goorts.
Anna leaves to mourn her children Peter (Cynthia), the late John, Henry (Lisa Crosby) and Johanne (Brian Taber). She was grandmother “Oma” to Jeremy (Maryse Chagnon), Jason, Sarah, Chris (Isobel Lupien), Marisa, Andrew and Brandon (Katrina Raymonde). Great-Oma to Zachery, Anthony, Fredrick, Riley and Adrian. She will be missed by numerous relatives and friends in Canada and Holland.
Visitation will be held at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale St. S. Richmond, on Friday November 24, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and on Saturday November 25 from 1:00 to 1:45 PM. A funeral Mass will be held at the Ste-Bibiane Church, Richmond at 2:00 PM.
The family would like to thank the Wales Home and especially all of the Norton 3 staff for the excellent care given to Anna.

Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont, on November 23, 2017 in her 89th year. Survived by her loving husband Lloyd. Cherished mother of Sheila, Charles, Anthony (Murdeena) and Marilyn. Dear grandmother of Christopher (Afrooz), Samuel (Elizabeth), Jeremy (Lianne) and Zachary. Great grandmother of Everett and Seamus. Predeceased by her brothers Perry and Mel Lemoine and her sister Betty McKeage.
Visitation will take place at the Trenholm United Church, on Monday November 27, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Rev. Reg Jennings officiating. Interment will be in the Trenholm Cemetery.
Special thanks to the CHUS Fleurimont 4th floor nursing staff and the Wales Home Norton 1 caregiving staff for the wonderful care given to Mary.

Winnifred Griffith (Gee) died peacefully at 85 years old on Thursday afternoon November 23, 2017 at the Wales Home in Richmond, Quebec, surrounded by her husband Royce, family and caring staff.
Winnifred, dear sister of Brian (Joan) and the late David (Gayle), was the first born child of the late William and Annie Gee (Hughes). She was born March 25, 1932 at the family farm in Gore where she spent 55 of her 85 years. Winnifred met Royce on the first day of the second grade at the Gore schoolhouse and they married on September 24, 1955. Two years later they were blessed with their first child, Jennifer (Geoff Webber), who sadly predeceased her. Winnifred and Royce's family continued to grow, with the additions of Peter (Charlotte Beattie), and Douglas (Allison Beattie).
Winnifred will be missed by her many grandchildren, Anne, Erin (Matthew Toth), Kyle (Marie-Pierre Bégin), Amber (Eamonn Waters), Robin (Andrea Jung), Jamie, Alexander, Jessica and Kathleen, as well as her two great-grandchildren, Élizabeth and Liam, and many long-time friends.
Until her health no longer allowed, Winnifred was actively involved with the Richmond-Melbourne United Church. As well, she dedicated much of her life volunteering at the Wales Home, and was a life member of the Gore Women’s Institute.
On Friday December 1st from 7 to 9 pm, visitation will take place at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale Sud, Richmond. On Saturday December 2nd, visitation will take place at 10 am at the Richmond-Melbourne United Church 247 Principale Sud, followed by the funeral at 11 am.

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary announces her peaceful passing on the morning of November 27th at The Grace Village Home in Lennoxville Quebec, after her long battle with Pulmonary and Heart Disease
Mary was a nurse at the Sherbrooke hospital for over 30 years, working in the delivery room and palliative care. Through out her retirement years her and her late husband Merritt Andrews shared their love and home with over 200 foster children in Vermont. Even in her last months at the Grace she was still giving care to her fellow residence.
Pre deceased by her loving husband of 51 years Merritt Andrews and her eldest son Keith Andrews. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Bob & Lee Walker, Newport VT. Her daughter and son in law Lana & Ross Oliver, Kelowna, BC. Her son Corey Andrews and daughter-in-law Kerry Cole, Squamish, BC
She will be greatly missed as "Nanny" to her grand children, Tyler, Tanya, Austin, Emily and Abbie
Mary is remembered by her many friends and past patients for her never ending kindness and loving nature.
The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all those who gave their time to visit and care for her over the last few years.

After a courageous battle with cancer, we sadly announce the passing of Barbara McAuley, on December 3, 2017 at the age of 64. Daughter of the late Shirley Aldrich and the late Bruce McAuley.
She is survived by her faithful partner Alan Smith, her devoted daughters Kim Bonin (Chris Buzzell), and Angie Bonin (Bruce Buzzell), and her two cherished grandchildren Zack Smith and Paris Bonin. She also leaves to mourn her sister Cheryl Verlinden (late John Verlinden) and nephew Philip Verlinden.
A special thank you to Dr. Masse, Dr. Trudel and the paliative team at the CHSLD, the CLSC and the CO-OP for the care and compassion shown to our mother during the final months of her illness.

Passed away peacefully at the Magog hospital, on Saturday December 9, 2017 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Russell Brown and daughter to the late Gordon Knowlton and the late Edna Sisco.
She leaves to mourn her husband Russell, her children Byron (Marilyn), Debra (Jack), Trudy (Sue), Cindy (Doug), Laurie (David) and Darryl (Darlene).
