Charlotte Teer
....show , age 53, passed away after a long battle with emphysema and COPD on September 12, 2015 in St. Albans, VT.
Charlotte is survived by her husband Alfred Teer of St. Albans, as well as her daughter Heidi Florio-Manning and spouse Michelle Florio-Manning of Tampa, FL as well as two step-children. Charlotte is also survived by her sisters Roberta Staples, and Cindy Hakey as well as her brothers Larry Hilliker, Gary Curtis, Lenny Hilliker, Robert Hilliker, and George Hilliker.
Charlotte was predeceased by her brother Timmothy Hilliker as well as her parents Robert and Anna Mae Hilliker. Charlotte is leaving behind her three grandchildren that she treasured so very much Tyanne, Michael, and Nathaniel of Tampa, FL. They will miss their "Yamma". Charlotte had many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as "adopted" children that will remember her fondly. We will try not to be sad, by remembering that you can breathe easy now and are no longer in any pain.
Per Charlotte's request there will be no services, her family will get together at future date for a private memorial service.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton.

Anita Marie Barrette
....show (12/09/1922 - 12-17-2015) Anita was born in St. Albans, Vermont on December 9, 1922, the daughter of Kenneth and Vida (Columb) Prouty. Anita graduated from Swanton High School and married Weldon Barrette on September 16, 1946.
Anita was involved in many organizations throughout her years. Her special ones being “The Altar Society” and volunteering at the “Northwestern Medical Center”. She was also a 4-H Leader and volunteered at the hospital in Florida and Mothers Club.
Anita is survived by her children, Jon and Linda (Campbell) Barrette, Paula and Patrick Howrigan and Diane Barrette and her partner, Bruce LeGallais; her special grandchildren, Sara Bigelow, Meredith Henry, Aaron Barrette, Shane, Patrick, Kevin Howrigan and Jennifer Bouchard, Anita also had 11 great grandchildren, that had a special place in her heart, Bella Bigelow, Regan and Ryland Howrigan, Chloe, Emmett and Dalton Bouchard, Edie and Norah Henry, Lauren and Lucien Barrette and Flynn Howrigan. Also a sister-in-law, Gloria Earley and several nieces and nephews and many people in her life that were special to her.
Anita also leaves good friends, Ginger Erno, Sheila Kittell, Geoff and Jeannine Domey and Adam and Judy Paxman and their children.
Anita was predeceased by her husband Weldon, her parents and special sister, Valma Coppola.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 21, 2015, at 3 p.m. from The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 65 Canada St., Swanton. Father Luke P. Austin will be the celebrant and homilist. The Rite of Committal and Interment will take place later in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. Father Austin will conduct a vigil service at 7:45 p.m. and remain after for The Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Anna Marie Gamache
....show , age 82 years, died early Saturday morning, September 19, 2015, at the University of Vermont Medical Center with loving family at her side.
Born in Swanton on, February 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Adele (Giroux) Moreau. She graduated from the former St. Anne’s Academy and on, June 15, 1957, was married to Joseph L. Gamache who survives her.
As a lifelong and devoted parishioner of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary / St. Louis Parish, Anna was a member of the Nativity Ladies of St. Anne and Altar Society, volunteered several years in in the parishes Religious Education Program and worked on countless church dinners. She was also an area 4-H Leader, enjoyed crafts and was a longtime member of the Missisquoi Craft Club.
In addition to her husband Joseph of 58 years, Anna leaves three daughters, Susan Gamache of Swanton, Elaine Messier and husband Gary of Essex Junction and Lisa Conger of Swanton; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Holly Conger of Swanton; four step-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Bernard Moreau of Duxbury, VT and Zephyrhills Hills, FL; a sister, Doris St. Pierre and husband Wilfred of Fairfield as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by a brother Henry Moreau.
Anna’s family would like to extend their “sincerest thanks” to the doctors and nurses at the University of Vermont Medical Center for the wonderful care received over these many years.

Bernice C. Campbell
....show , age 83 years, a lifelong area resident died early Saturday morning, October 17, 2015, at her Pearl St. residence with loving family at her side.
Born in Swanton on July 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Amos Samuel and Ardelle (Hoague) Jerry. She attended Swanton schools and on March 10, 1956, was married to John Murray Campbell who predeceased her in 1973.
Bernice will be especially remembered for the many years that she assisted her daughter at Betty’s Flower Basket in St. Albans, delivering flowers throughout the Franklin and Grand Isle County area. She later also assisted at her daughter Betty’s restaurant located in the St. Albans City Main Street Plaza.
Bernice leaves two daughters, Betty Campbell Lambesis and husband Greg of St. Albans and Debra Taylor and husband Frank of Swanton; three granddaughters, Demetra, Yoanna and Alex; two grandsons, Zachary and Nathan; a great grandson, Taso; her sister, Catherine Ely of Naugatuck, CT; a sister-in-law, Patricia Jerry Breyette of Alburgh as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves her very special canine companion, Willie.
Besides her parents and husband, Bernice was predeceased by three brothers, Albert Jerry Sr., Amos Jerry Jr. and Kenneth Jerry and a sister, Dorcas Phillips.
At Bernice’s request there will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at 11 a.m. from the Campbell family lot in Riverside Cemetery, Swanton. The Reverend Father J. Robert Spainhour, Rector of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church will officiate.

Constance E. Lewis
....show died peacefully in her home at The Residence at Shelburne Bay on September 10, 2015. Constance “Connie” was born in Natick, Massachusetts on September 20, 1928 to Hugh and Mary O’Rourke. Connie graduated from Natick High School and attended St. Joseph’s College in Maine. Connie married the love of her life Alexander S. Lewis “Al” in June 1963 who she remained married to until his death in October 2011. On September 10th 1964 Connie gave birth to her only child a son named David Alexander Lewis. In 1974 Connie and Al moved to Shelburne Vermont to begin a new business venture for Al in the Automobile business in South Burlington, VT. Though Connie didn’t work at the business her support and guidance allowed Al to be very successful and pass his business on to their son David.
Connie was the heart and soul of the Lewis Family. Connie is survived by her Son David A. Lewis, Daughter in law Karyn J. Lewis, granddaughter Sarah Lewis and grandson Alex Lewis all of who reside in Charlotte Vermont.
Connie was a dedicated member of St. Catherine Church in Shelburne. Connie enjoyed golf, cross country skiing and her beloved Doberman “Sabu”
A funeral mass will be held on September 18, 2015 at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Shelburne at 4:00pm with a coffee reception to follow after.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church.
