....show , age 72, widow of Aaron Brunton, passed away Saturday evening July 4, 2009 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. She was born in Stowe, VT on August 9, 1936 the daughter of the late Carmi & Nettie (Miller) Touchette Rebecca was a resident of Enosburg, Montgomery, Swanton & Richford most of her adult life. She grew up in Stowe and graduated from Stowe High School. Rebecca devoted her life to raising her family. She enjoyed baking, working in her flower & vegetable gardens, canning, reading, playing cards, hunting, fishing, and visiting with her sister-in-law Shirley to talk about the “Old Times”. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Brunton of St. Albans, Michael Brunton and his wife Lisa of Richford, Penny Donna and her husband Randy of Enosburg, Dana Brunton and his fiancée Doris Donna of Richford, Andrew Brunton of St. Albans, Paul Brunton and his wife Tammy of Alburgh, and Jennifer Gregoire and her husband, Floyd of Richford; 16 Grandchildren, Nickie, Jessie, Jamie, Kasey, Aaron, Emily, Ryan, Christina, Maddison, Abby, Corey, Mandy, Lacey, Chelsea, Paul, and Heather; 7 great grandchildren, Garrett, Jason, Elizabeth, Conner, Ava, Evony, and Savanna; 2 brothers and their wives, Edward & Eileen Touchette of Duxbury, and Raymond & Helen Touchette of Moretown; 2 half sisters, Bonnie Montroy & Sherry Gile both of Richmond; several nieces and nephews. ....show , age 80, passed away at her residence on Sunday July 12, 2009 with her nieces at her side. She was born October 10, 1928 in Scottdale, PA the daughter of the late William & Ruth (Merritt) Percy. Millie has been a resident of Richford since 1979 and worked at Sweat - Comings Furniture Company as an Administrative Assistant retiring in 1995. She was a former resident of Long Beach, CA where she was employed as a Registered Nurse working in the Dermatology field. Millie enjoyed traveling in her younger years. She is survived by her nieces, Susan Morrissey and her husband Paul of Medford, MA, Mary Kelly of South Burlington, VT, and Margaret Tringale and her husband Steven of Reading, MA; a nephew, Daniel Kelly of Milton, VT; several great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Millie was predeceased by her sisters, Ann Wesley & Nancy Comings. In keeping with Millie’s wishes there will be no funeral services or visiting hours. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in the Hillside Cemetery in Richford. MONTKTON - Kelly Ann Bruner
....show , age 41, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 12, 2009 while boating on Cedar Lake in Monkton. Kelly was born March 4, 1968 in Boston, MA. She was a 1986 graduate of South Burlington High School and a graduate of Trinity College. Following college she was employed in the banking industry as a bookkeeper/accountant for several years and was currently a bookkeeper for A. Johnson Lumber Company in Bristol. Kelly was an accomplished gardener and cook. She was an animal lover and devoted her time to the foster care program at the Humane Society of Chittenden County. She also loved to ride horses. She is survived by her parents, Harvey & Joyce (Flanders) Bruner of Essex; her very special friend, Ken Palmer of Monkton; siblings, Dennis Bruner and Luci of Berkshire, Rodney Bruner and Cindy of Underhill Center, Timothy Bruner of Colchester, and Kandy Schmidt of Burlington; many nieces and nephews; She is also survived by her animal friends; her 2 cats, and her faithful German Shepherd, Jenna. Kelly was a very special person to all who knew her and was a true joy to have known. We love and miss you Kelly. RICHFORD - James M. “Bud” Todd, Jr.
....show , age 85, passed away Tuesday morning July 14, 2009 at the Wingate at Dutchess Nursing Home in Fishkill, NY James “Bud” was born December 29, 1923 in Richford the son of the late James M. & Edith (Slayton) Todd. Bud was a graduate of Richford High School. Following his graduation he entered the U.S. Army Air Corps serving during WWII. After his honorable discharge he made his home in Carmel, NY where he was employed as a custodian for the Carmel New York School District for 23 years retiring in 1986 at which time he moved back to Richford where he was a member of the Richford 1st Baptist Church serving as a trustee for several years, American Legion Post # 12, and the Richford Lions Club and was a Melvin Jones recipient. Bud remained an avid NY Yankee and NY Ranger fan. You could always catch him in front of the TV watching one of their games day or night even if it was a replay. He is survived by his children Mel Todd and his wife Susan of Frankenmuth, MI and Debby Thompson and her husband Eric of Newburgh, NY; 4 grandchildren: Jason Todd with his partner Sheehan Freeman, Brandi Wickliffe with her husband James, Joshua Thompson with his wife Jennifer and Gretchen Todd; 3 great grandchildren: Ryan and Julia Wickliffe and Hudson Thompson.. RICHFORD - Lucienne Therese Fournier
....show , age 87, passed away Tuesday morning July 14, 2009 at the Franklin County Rehab Center in St. Albans with her family at her side. She was born November 16, 1921 in Adamsville, Que. Canada the daughter of the late Eugene & Marie (Fillion) Surprenant. Lucienne grew up in Canada and in 1947 along with her husband Adelord, came to Vermont to raise their family, farming on the Lost Nation Road in Berkshire and finally settled in 1959 in Richford farming on the Golf Course Road. She enjoyed working the farm and tending to the animals. She also worked at the Hockey Stick Factory and the Sewing Factory both in Richford, retiring at the age of 62. After her retirement she did sewing alterations for many people in the area. In 1998 she moved to the Franklin Homestead until her health required her to live at Our Lady of the Meadows in Richford. Lucienne enjoyed knitting, sewing and never missed a Saturday night square dancing to Raymond Parent and the Rhythm Ramblers. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Pauline & Daniel Favreau of Franklin, Mary Jane & Gaetan Marchessault of Burlington, Roger & Ellie Fournier of Franklin, Jack & Tennie Fournier of Chester, VA, Theresa Gapp of Chino, CA, Marcel Fournier of Richford, Lise & Jeff Zalac of Danville, PA, John-Louis & Laurie Fournier of Berkshire, Denise & Bill Dexter of Rutland, and Mark Fournier of Port Orchard, WA; 27 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; 2 brothers and their wives, Marcel & Laura Surprenant , and Joseph & Monique Surprenant; 2 sisters, Albertine Fortin, and Denise Beauregard and her husband Gaston all of Quebec; several nieces and nephews. SHELDON - C. Gladys Elwood
....show , age 96, passed away Thursday evening July 16, 2009 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans with her family at her side. She was born February 26, 1913 in Bakersfield (Egypt), VT the daughter of the late George & Etta (Safford) Britch. Gladys was born and raised on the Britch family farm in Egypt. On September 28, 1931 she married Ira P. Elwood and they farmed in Sheldon for many years. She also was a prep cook and pastry cook for 25 years at the Dairy Center in Enosburg retiring in 1989. Gladys enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting collecting porcelain dolls, making dolls, and traveling having taken trips to Graceland, Florida, Prince Edward Island, and Colorado. She loved to Joke with people and she always looked forward to going to the Sheldon Casino for Sunday Brunch with her family. She is survived by her children, Shirley Hogaboom and her husband Robert of Sheldon, Lester Elwood of Castleton and his wife Ellen of Rutland, Dale Elwood and his wife Louise of Highgate, and Deborah St. Onge of Richford; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren; and a special friend, Pat St. Marie of Sheldon. Besides her parents, Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Ira P. Elwood on November 18, 1991; 2 daughters, Esther & Louisa Elwood; 2 grandsons, Robert Hogaboom, and Frederick Mathieu; 2 great grandsons, Ryan & Shane Langmaid; 2 sisters, Naomi Beyor, Gwendolyn Austin. Muriel was born in Millbrook, Nova Scotia Canada on October 21, 1919, the daughter of the late John Faulkner Halliday & Jessie Isabelle MacIntosh. Muriel owned and operated a beauty shop in Richford for a number of years. She was a charter member of the VFW Auxiliary, a life member of the DAV Auxiliary, and member of the American Legion Auxiliary all of Richford. She is survived by her son, Stephen C. Sheperd, Jr. of Richford; her step daughters, Judith Rowley Button and her family of New York, and Sally Rowley McAllister and her family of Richford; her grandsons, Randall Sheperd and his wife Sheila of Richford, and Eric Sheperd and his companion Tammy Sweet of Richford; her great grandchildren, Cody, Connor, Casey, Chaz, Justin, Sebastian, and Jette; and many nieces and nephews especially Jay & Martha Sheperd, and Penny & Stanley Wright; also a dear friend, Gerry Cummings. Besides her parents and husbands, Muriel was predeceased by her former daughter-in-law, Jaska (Brown) Sheperd; her seven sisters, Annie Ross, Rose Ross, Ena McKenzie, Helen Calhoun, Hazel Hirtle, Agnes Johnson, and Viola Sheperd; her four brothers, Wesley, Cecil, Alexander, and Arvin Halliday. RICHFORD - Guy Gabriel “Chuck” Breault, Jr.
....show , age 47, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 19, 2009 as the result of a boating accident on Lake Carmi. Chuck was born September 26, 1961 in St. Albans the son of Guy G. & Nancy (Langdell) Breault. Chuck grew up in Enosburg Falls and as a young boy was a member of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was a 1979 graduate of Enosburg Falls High School. Chuck has been employed by the State of Vermont Agency of Transportation as a Central Garage Technician for the past 15 years and was a former employee of Beauregard Equipment, Giroux Brothers, and McDermott’s Trucking. Chuck was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing but his passion was deer hunting, making annual hunting trips with his friends to Maine, Ontario & Connecticut. He is survived by his wife, Cindy (Provasi) Breault of Richford; his children, Amanda Giroux and her husband Jonathan of St. Albans Bay, Josh Ledoux of Scottsville, KY, and Adam Breault of Richford; his parents, Guy & Nancy Breault of Enosburg Falls; his sisters, Rita Pothier and her husband Ben of Enosburg Falls, and Mary Baril and her husband Darren of Bakersfield; his mother-in-law, Sharon Provasi of Barre; sisters-in-law, Billie Jo St. Amour and her husband Richard of Burlington, Bobbie Salls and her friend Pat Stanley of Swanton, Tammy Provasi of Barre, and Vicki Woodward and her husband Mike of Barre; brother-in-law, Rob Provasi of Fairfield; his nieces and nephews, Danielle, Samantha, Jeremy, Mya, Carlee, Haley, Riley, Kelli, Paige, Josh, Ashley, Jared, and Jack; his puppy, Oliver; many aunts, uncles & cousins; and several hunting buddies. She was born October 28, 1925 in North Troy, VT the daughter of the late Scott A. & Della (Lucas) Wright. Sybil was a resident of Enosburg Falls for the past 6 years. She had also lived in Bridgeport, CT before moving back to Richford in the 1960’s. While living in Richford she worked as a care giver to several families in the Richford community. Sybil was a very active member of the Order of Eastern Star Martha Washington Chapter # 44, served as the Grand Marshall and the grand representative of West Virginia & Colorado. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Richford. She enjoyed playing BINGO, going on the senior citizen gambling trips to the casinos in Montreal & New York. She also liked to play cards whether it was 500 or 31. She is survived by her sister and her husband, Charity & Rene Lavoie of Newburg, PA; her brother and his wife, Sidney & Linda Wright of East Hartford, CT; several nieces and nephews. RICHFORD - Hollis A. King
....show , age 81, passed away at his home on July 29, 2009 with his family at his side. He was born November 6, 1927 in St. Armand, Quebec Canada, the son of the late Adolphus A. & Lorena (Fecteau) King. Hollis was a resident of Richford most of his life. He worked as a carpenter and a construction worker until disability forced him to retire at the age of 45. He was a member of the Eagles Club of Jeffersonville and attended the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved his music, playing in the bands, Smokey and the Mountaineers & the Green Mountain Troubadours which played at various functions and nursing homes in the area. Most of all he was a devoted and loving husband & father making sure his family came first. He is survived by his wife, Arlene (Domingue) King of Richford. They were married September 8, 1951. He is also survived by his children, Helen Hoose of So. She was born February 25, 1930 in East Enosburg the daughter of the late Raymond & Florence (Corey) Johnson. Ardelle devoted her life to raising her eight children and was very proud that five of her sons served in the armed services. She enjoyed watching the birds, growing flowers, listening to country singers, dancing and caring for her cats, Snoopy & Princess. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 12 of Richford. She loved to watch the birds, work in her flower gardens, and cross stitch. She became a naturalized United States Citizen on January 15, 1982. During her illness she enjoyed and looked forward to the many visits from the Nurses from Franklin County Home Health. She was also very thankful for the care received from Dr. Von Lepel. ....show , age 79, passed away Saturday August 8, 2009 in Richford, at the home of his son with his family at his side. Richard was born in Richford on June 24, 1930 the son of the late Henry & May (Tetreault) Fecteau. Richard served two tours with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a life time member of the American Legion Post # 12 of Richford. He retired from H. K. Webster (Blue Seal Feeds) after many years of employment. He enjoyed hunting and playing poker. He is survived by his children, and their spouses, Dale & Chris Fecteau of Richford, Charles & Wanda Fecteau of Enosburg, Robin & Dave Gagne of Long, SC, and Greg & Patty Fecteau of Shelburne; his grandchildren & great grandchildren, Shannon, Luc, Ashley, Courtney, Derek, Lauren, Nickolas, Delaney, Jaiden, Serena & Reagan; several nieces and nephews. ENOSBURG - Arthur C. “DOC” Sutherland
....show , age 82, passed away Friday August 21, 2009 at the St. Albans Health Care Facility. Arthur was born January 16, 1927 in Danvers, MA the son of the late James R. & Minnie (Homan) Sutherland. Arthur was a resident of Enosburg for the past 18 years where he worked part-time at Brookside Camp Ground and Cold Hollow Precision. He was a former resident of Danvers, MA where he worked as the Director of Nursing at the Danvers State Hospital. He also worked for Wells Fargo Armored Car Service in Wakefield MA., and was an Auxiliary Police Officer for the Danvers Police Department. Arthur also found time to be a Projectionist for the Strand Theatre in Ipswich, MA. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Following his discharge from the Navy, he enlisted in the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War and then re-enlisted in the Navy serving during Vietnam. Following his final discharge from the Navy he served in the Naval Reserve in Massachusetts for many years retiring with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 42 of Enosburg Falls. Arthur enjoyed watching NASCAR and fishing. He was an avid reader and in his younger years he was a racecar driver having raced on Daytona Beach and learned to fly planes. He also was an Exhibitionist Ball Room dancer. He is survived by his partner, Barbara (Neveu) Amor of Enosburg Falls and his children; Julie Robtoy and her husband Dwight of Enosburg Falls, Wendy Morrill and her husband Jeff of St Albans. Nancy Teel of Nashua, NH, and James Daniel Sutherland of Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Riley Brianna Robtoy, Jacob Morrill, Olivia Morrill and Jessi Phillips. RICHFORD - Myrtle Irene Longey
....show , age 90, passed away Thursday September 3, 2009 at the Franklin County Rehab Center in St. Albans with her loving daughter at her side. She was born in Morrisville, New York on May 21, 1919 the daughter of the late Wells & Maude Northrup. Myrtle was a resident of Richford for the past 64 years and was a former resident of Burlington, VT and New York. She worked as a nurse’s aide at several nursing homes in New York. Myrtle enjoyed playing piano and listening to music. She loved animals especially her cats. She was a loving mother to her children who survive her, Brenda Longey of Richford and Kenneth Longey of Barton; her sister-in-law, Marie Broe of Richford; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Myrtle was predeceased by her husband of nearly 50 years, Felix Longey. Myrtle & Felix were married July 28, 1942. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Mildred Perrigo, Marion Smith, Laura Campanella and Mable Sikes; and a brother, Charles Northrup. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Hillside Cemetery in Richford with Pastor Lyle Willey officiating. There will be no visiting hours. East Montpelier, VT - Geneva (Sweet) Woodward
....show , wife of the late Ronald James Chaffee Woodward, died at her home on the Lyle Young Road in East Montpelier on Tuesday morning, September 8, 2009. Geneva was born on March 21, 1925 in Fairfield, the daughter of Homer B. and Elva (Montgomery) Sweet. After attending the Boston City Hospital School of Nursing, Geneva graduated as an R.N. from the Training School for Nurses of St. Albans Hospital. She was also a member of the Cadet Corps of Nurses. Geneva utilized her nursing skills her whole adult life, working at the St. Albans Hospital, Heaton Hospital in Montpelier and, later, as a school nurse for the Northeast Supervisory District in East Montpelier. Her friends, family and neighbors all benefited from her nursing care and loving attention. Geneva is survived by a sister, Flora Sweet Stanhope of Fairfield; a brother Roger Sweet, also of Fairfield; a daughter Gail M. Woodward of East Montpelier and a granddaughter Sayde J. Burke of Hinesburg; a daughter Patricia J. Woodward of St. Albans; a grandson Benjamin L. Utton of St. Albans and a great grandson Ethan L. Utton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Geneva will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave. in Enosburg Falls with the Rev. Dr. Marguerite C. ....show , age 62, passed away Sunday September 13, 2009 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington following a long illness. Gary was born December 28, 1946 in St. Albans the son of the late Hubert & Annabelle (Quimby) Paradee. Gary was a lifelong resident of Fairfield and had worked for many companies driving truck with his longest employment at McDermott’s in Enosburg Falls. He loved all of his pets to the extreme, Rose will miss her daily car rides. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR but most of all loved to watch his grandchildren play sports or participate in school activities. He never missed a home game and rarely missed an away game. He was also an avid talker of politics and strong verbal supporter of the Republican Party. He is survived by his children, Jay Paradee and his wife Lori, and Shelley Paradee and her fiancé Paul Pelletier all of Fairfield; his grandchildren, Robert, Brent & Cody Paradee, Devin Parent, and Emma Pelletier; step grandchildren, Alexis & Olivia Pelletier; his brothers and their wives, Brad & Shirley Paradee of Fairfield, and Lee & Leisha Paradee of Swanton; half sister, Reba Tibbetts of Berwick, ME; mother of his children, Christine Paradee of Fairfield; and many nieces and nephews. ENOSBURG FALLS - Wareth E. “Buster” Garrett
....show , age 97, husband of the late Lillian (Lumbra) Garrett, passed away at his home on Tuesday morning September 15, 2009. Buster was able to be at home over the last 3 years with the loving care he received from his caregivers Wendy, Sam, Roberta & Marta. Buster was born August 22, 1912 in East Bakersfield, VT the son of the late Ectus & Ella (LaCross) Garrett. Buster was a lifelong resident of Enosburg and was a 1930 graduate of Enosburg Falls High School serving as class president and was a member of the baseball team. He attended University of Vermont for 2 years playing baseball there too. Following the untimely death of his father, he left UVM to run the family farm in West Enosburg. He farmed until 1947 when he moved to Enosburg Falls. He also worked for Wirthmore Feeds as a manager and road salesman and continued with Agway upon their acquiring Wirthmore until his retirement in the early 1970’s. Upon retirement Buster & Lillian bought a camp on Lake Carmi where they spent countless hours boating, fishing, having fish fry’s and spending time with family and friends. Buster’s love for the game of baseball continued with him umpiring American Legion baseball games throughout Vermont & Canada. Buster was a member of the Lincoln Lodge #78 F&AM of Enosburg Falls, receiving recognition as a 50 year member earlier this year. He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Avis & Normand Gervais of Enosburg Falls; 3 grandchildren, David Gervais of Springfield, MA, Michael Gervais of So. Burlington, and Judy Gervais of Sanford, NC; his great grandchildren, David Gervais, Garrett Gervais, Casey (Gervais) Ramsey, Caitlin Gervais, Tyler Gervais, Simeon Gervais, and Whitney Gervais; great great grandchildren, Nya & Celia Ramsey, and Cade Brouillard; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Lillian Garrett on January 13, 2007. They were married on August 29, 1933. He was also predeceased by his grandson, Steven Gervais on August 17, 2007; 2 sisters, Ruth Myott & Kathryn Gelbar; and a brother, Robert Garrett. A celebration of Buster’s life will be held Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Enosburg Falls United Methodist Church with Rev. Jon Bly officiating. ....show , 36, a resident of Second St. in Enosburg Falls, passed away in Highgate on Thursday morning, September 17, the result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. Ronnie was born on November 1, 1972 in St. Albans, the son of Terry and Ruth Ann (Magnant) Peaslee. He was a 1990 graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union High School. A dedicated and hard worker all of his life, Ronnie had been employed for the past 12 years as a meat cutter at Price Chopper in St. Albans and Burlington. Prior to that time he had worked in Franklin and Enosburg Falls. Ronnie enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Boston Red Sox and Patriots fan. His greatest pride was his son, Cole. In addition to his son Cole of St. Albans, Ronnie is survived by his parents Terry and Ruth Ann (Magnant) Peaslee of Enosburg Falls; his sister Vicky Lagrow and her companion Michael Lawyer of Franklin; his aunts Ramona and John Labrie, Donna and Randy Scott and Sandy and Hubert St.Francis; his uncle Robert Magnant; his nephews Ryan and Cody Lagrow; his girlfriend Jaime Machia of Highgate; and several cousins. Ronnie was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Ralph and Gertrude (Corwell) Peaslee and his maternal grandparents Fay and Marjorie (Tatro) Magnant. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave. in Enosburg Falls with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. ....show , age 99 passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Redstone Villa Nursing Home in St. Albans. She was born November 22, 1909 in Richford, VT the daughter of the late John & Clara Lafontaine. She was a longtime resident of Chester, VT where she managed L.A. Carpenter Department Store for many years. She was active in local community organizations while in Chester, as well as an avid reader, card player (especially Bridge) and baseball fan. She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Betty & Winston Warren; her grandson and his wife, Kris & Audrey Warren all of Ocala, FL; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Hal Goodell; four sisters and two brothers, Bertha Archambault, Gertrude Coward, Irene Lavoie, Florence Fields, George Lafontaine, and Raymond “Red” Lafontaine. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visiting hours.
ALBURGH - Robert A. Benson
....show , age 73, a resident of North Main Street, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Burlington Health & Rehab Facility. He was born February 23, 1936 in Richford, VT the son of the late Leonard & Grace (McAllister) Benson. Robert was a resident of Alburgh most of his life. He grew up working on the family dairy farm and for the last 19 years he was employed at Stevens Camp in North Hero working as a grounds keeper. Robert will be remembered by his family for always wanting to help others and putting their needs first. He enjoyed working with plants, reading books, solving mind puzzles, playing chess and was always up for a good challenge. He is survived by his daughters, Laura Dudley and her husband Keven of Highgate, and Barbara Lanphear and her husband Mike of Swanton; his grandchildren, Ethan, Patricha and her husband Dave, Terrell, and Trinity; his great granddaughter, Phoebe; his sister & brothers, Wilma Martin and her husband Roy of South Burlington, Donald Benson of Wisconsin, and Dr. Merrill Benson and his wife Dr. Marlene Benson of Indiana; several nieces and nephews and their families. She was born August 4, 1928 in Enosburg the daughter of the late George & Nelda (Longe) Wood. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Enosburg, She held many jobs including positions at Dairyland Restaurant, Enosburg Bobbin Mill, Dairy Center Restaurant, Enosburg Elementary School Hot Lunch Program, Thermo Wire, and finally retiring from General Electric. She enjoyed going to auctions and lawn sales, playing BINGO, bowling, listening to fiddling, taking rides in the country and most of all caring for her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Donna Cook and her husband Kenneth of Enosburg, Harold C.
