passed away suddenly in her home in Troy, on April 19, 2009. She was born on March 4, 1929, in Newport, to Hazel and Dean Perry and grew up in Troy. Eileen earned her teaching degree at Johnson State College and spent a good deal of her adult life as a dedicated elementary school teacher; most of which was in Westfield. Eileen was a active member to the Westfield Congregational Church and belonged to the Ladies Social Union. She enjoyed her family, bowling, and her garden. She was an avid Red Sox fan. She was Mom and Mother and so much more to her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Bruce Nelson of Ryegate; daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Richard Farrar of Coventry; son and daughter-in-law, Daryl and Cindy LeBlanc of Westfield; and daughter-in-law and husband, Margaret and Steward Maxwell of Coventry. Grammy will always remain in the hearts of her grandchildren, Curt and Emily of Oswego, Ill.; Andrea and Ryan Dennis of Ryegate; Jim and Christy Nelson of Ryegate; Darik LeBlance of Brownington; Darcy LeBlanc of Westbrook, Maine; Adam Farrar of Coventry; and eight precious great-grandchildren. Eileen's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to her neighbors in the community who were always there for her and who she thought the world of. , age 56, Waynesville, Ga., died suddenly at his home on Friday, April 17, 2009. Born on June 17, 1952, in Nashua, N.H., son to the late Stephen and Carolyn (Roundy) Currie, raised in Bethlehem, N.H., he graduated high school in Littleton, N.H. Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He attended Lake City Community College, Florida. earning a degree in mechanics and worked with his brother James on the golf courses at Jekyll Island, Ga. Richard was Head Mechanic at the famed Augusta National Golf Course, Augusta, Ga. in the 1980s. He became Assistant Superintendent at Hidden Hills Golf Course, Jacksonville, Fla., working alongside his beloved brother, Jim. He took his Irrigation Specialist skills to the Ponte Vedra Country Club, Ponte Vedra, Fla., and to the Jacksonville Zoo, Jacksonville, where he enjoyed his unique love of animals. Dick was an avid fisherman, gardener, movie buff, great storyteller, Harley rider, and followed Nascar and The Young and The Restless faithfully. A beloved dad, grand-pops and brother, Richard will be missed by his daughter, Sachiko Clark and husband, Ken; grandchildren, Hayley Lynn and Hayden James, Jacksonville; son, Kyle Currie, Jacksonville; sister, Nancy Philpot and husband, Stephen, Clearwater, Fla.; sister, Susan Lehan, Skowhegan, Maine; brother, James Currie, Jekyll Island; sister, Patricia Currie and friend, Francis Stedman, Brunswick, Ga.; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. His wife, Jeanne, pased away just this past Feb. 26. Raymond was born in Hardwick on Feb. 21, 1924, the son of Albert and Lydia (Brochu) Renaud. He worked on interstate construction all around Vermont and New Hampshire and in construction all over the world; building roads in the virgin jungle of Cambodia, working heavy construction in Saudi Arabia and drilling for oil in Newfoundland. He is survived by two sons, Jacques Renaud and his companion, Martha Mason, of Dalton, N.H.; Robert Renaud and wife, Beverly, of St. Johnsbury; three grandchildren, Candace, Brooke and Cody; one sister, Theresa Ferland of Hardwick; four brothers, Clem Renaud of Texas; Ivan Renaud and wife, Elaine, of Hardwick; Lucien Renaud and wife, Hazel, of Morrisville; Alabert Renaud Jr. and wife Alice of Thetford Mines, Quebec; and nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Evangelist Church on Friday, April 24, at noon. There will be no visiting hours. , a Lyndon resident, passed away early Monday, April 20, 2009, at the age of 75 at the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. The daughter of Coryden and Lora (Sherman) Dexter. She was born April 11, 1934, in Lisbon, N.H. She married Clayton J. Rexford July 15, 1955, in Newark. She enjoyed playing yahtzee, cribbage, bingo, knitting, and Sunday drives. Joyce is survived by her husband of nearly 54 years, Clayton J. Rexford of Lyndon; children and their spouses, Theresa (Tess) Thomas and husband Neal, and Sheila Rexford both of St. Johnsbury, Beverly Paulikowski and fiancé Patrick Jarvis of Lyndon; a sister Phillis Etheridge and husband E.P. of Grand Isle; 12 grandchildren, Robert and Falicia Houde, Jeffrey Houde, Heather Thomas, Nicole Thomas, Trent Thomas, David Paulikowski, Michael Paulikowski, Tiffany Rexford, Eric Rexford, Haley Johnson, Scott Johnson; and four great-grandchildren. , age 63, a Walden resident, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009, at the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital with her family by her side. Born July 31, 1945, in Meriden, Conn., to Herald and Albertine (White) Mefferd. She married Richard Augeri April 26, 1962, in Middletown, Conn. Cynthia and her family moved to Vermont in 1976, she loved Vermont. She was an active member of the Catholic Church for many years, she loved going to the library, reading, especially her mystery novels, she enjoyed crocheting and was an artist with a crochet hook. Her greatest love was her family and spending time with them. Cynthia is survived by her husband of 46 years, Richard Augeri of Walden; her children, Lynette Augeri, Joseph Augeri and wife Sally Nardia, Daniel Augeri and wife Tricia, Jonathan Augeri and wife Kimberly, Richard Augeri and partner Andre, Sarah Augeri and companion Eric Kittredge; a special grandson Seth Augeri and fiancée Megan; nine additional grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Jeff Mefferd; sister Charlotte Tosto; a loving care-giver, Brenda Huntoon; and many nieces, nephews and friends. , 89, of State Street, Groveton, N.H., died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster, N.H., with her loving family by her side. Born May 29, 1919, in St. da'Mase, Canada, a daughter of the late Napoleon and Eugenie (Daigle) Charest, she has been a resident of Groveton since 1951, coming from Canada. Adrienne was a member of the St. Marguerite d'Youville Parish-St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton, the Daughters of Isabella, the church Community Affairs Group, and was a Hospitality Minister. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Auxiliary, loved to play Bingo, crocheting, knitting, sewing and spending time with her family. She worked for about 10 years for the Manchester Knitted Fashions, then the mill in Groveton and other jobs. She was a volunteer at the Groveton Thrift Shop for several years and helped with the Senior Meals in Groveton for many years. Adrienne is survived by her daughter Raymonde Bilodeau and husband Donald of Lancaster; son Louis Boudrias of Groveton; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother Hormidas Charest of Canada and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Urgel Boudrias on Oct. 8, 2007; four sisters and four brothers. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. , 82, a Lyman, N.H., resident passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at the Littleton Regional Hospital following a lengthy illness. Joseph was born May 13, 1926, in Framingham, Mass., to Joseph and Jessie (Ambrosini) Collins. After graduating from high school, Joseph entered the U.S. Air Force and served for two years. Joseph studied social work and graduated from Boston University, then went into teaching. He married Virginia M. Sullivan in 1950. He was employed as the Director at Camp Hale on Squam Lake (a summer camp for boys) from 1951-1970. He was also employed as Assistant Headmaster at Friends Academy in North Dartmouth, Mass., from 1954-1970 he was later employed as Assistant Headmaster at the Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, N.H., from 1971-1988. After retirement he continued to work until his illness prevented him from doing so. He was a member of St. Catherine of Sieana Catholic Church and a member of the Local Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Surviving family members include his wife, Virginia of Lyman; his sons, Timothy Collins of Bethlehem, N.H., Joseph (Jody) Collins of Maryland Heights, Mont.; his daughter, Virginia Collins of Portland, Maine; his two grandchildren, Mitchell Collins, Cassie Collins; his brothers, Edwin Collins of North Carolina, James Collins of Mathuen, Mass. , 75, died peacefully on April 21, 2009, in Glover, surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 9, 1933, in Albany, son of Frank and Gertrude (Friend) Simino. He served in the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Germany. He enjoyed reminiscing about his military life. He met and married Rebecca Perron on Aug. 30, 1958, and resided in Glover at "the bottom of the hill" (Perron Hill) for 50 plus years together. He spent his life doing many types of work, logging, wood-working, cutting logs in his own saw mill, meat cutting, and professional carpentry since 1988 with Ralph Vincent. He was always available to lend a helping hand for his neighbors, friends and family. His special dog and friend was Timon. He enjoyed cooking and loved to feed family that stopped by for a visit, and everyone looked forward to "Richard's fudge" at Christmas time. Richard loved his work and took pride in doing a good job at whatever he did. But there was no greater pride than the pride he carried for his grandchildren. That is what truly brought out the twinkle in his eyes and joy in his heart. Besides his wife, Becky, he leaves his children Carl Simino and Paulette, Daryl Simino and wife Debbie, and Alfreda Trucott and husband Richard, and nephew Jason Simino and wife Kelly; his grandchildren Jessica and Ethan Ward, Ryan Richard Simino, Kaulana Simino, Shae Del Simino, Alarice Simino, and Amanda Trucott Rollins and husband Joseph Rollins; great-grandchildren Emma and McKenna Ward; extended family members Kimberly LaBounty, James LaBounty, Michelle LaBounty, Alarnie Lacey Fellows, Sarah Lord and Nathaniel Walker, Wendy Trucott Allard, Tonia Trucott Pryce, Trina Lynn Trucott, and families. , 58, of North Road Lancaster died Wednesday morning, April 22, 2009, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster. Mr. Landon was born in Plymouth, N.H., on June 13, 1950 the son of Fred Landon and Gloria (Perras) Cummings. Mike had various jobs over the years. Even though he was disabled for the last few years of his life, he never gave up trying to contribute to his family and to the community. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He was an active member of the Northern Valley Church of Christ in Lancaster. Family members include his wife Janet (Skinner) Landon of Lancaster; four daughters, Katrina Coe of Hampton, Va., Julie Robbins of Penacook, N.H., Billie Landon of Twin Mountain and Lisa Landon of Littleton and his step-son Steven Lewis of Phoenix, Ariz.; his sisters Pauline Conkey of Wells River, Vt., Loretta Paige Berryan also of Wells River, Shannon Landon of Lisbon, N.H., Geri Lapre of Holderness, N.H., and Valerie Landon of Littleton; several grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. (Morse) Herbert, in Littleton, N.H. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Joe received an Honorary Diploma from Littleton High School in 2002. Joe was a Master Plumber and owned and operated Herbert Plumbing and Heating for many years. , of North Concord, died peacefully, Thursday, April 23, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She was 74. Born in St. Johnsbury, she lived in North Danville much of her life. In retirement, she lived in Ellaville, Ga., and on Miles Pond, in North Concord. She married Charlie Myrick Dec. 24, 1954 in Atlanta, Ga. She lived a creative and active life. She was a wonderful cook, known throughout the Northeast Kingdom for her chicken pie, syrup rolls, breads, and especially her wedding cakes. She was a gifted organizer, and used those skills to found a basketball tournament, and help organize the annual 4th of July boat parade on Miles Pond, among many other activities. Always one for small adventures she would often bundle up her family on the spur of the moment and strike out for some distant and interesting place. She began her professional career as a night shift telephone operator, and worked as an office manager for several local businesses, as well as the State of Vermont. Through the years she was active in the North Danville Community Club, the Ellaville American Legion Auxiliary, and was a member of Hopewell Methodist Church. She cherished her time with her neighborhood coffee group in Ellaville. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charlie; her five children, Steve, Dennis, John, and Andrew, and Cyndi; 14 grandchildren, Rebecca and Allison; Ashleigh, Aaron, Alexandra, and Maura; Sarah, Emily, and Elizabeth; Olivia, Lily, and Calvin; Tyler and Victoria; and one great-grandchild, Braden. Also surviving is her brother Robert McGill. A memorial service will be held at Pearsons Funeral Home, Sunday, April 26, at 6 p.m., with Mr. John Sleeper as officiant. , 96, passed away after a brief illness April 23, 2009. She was born in Tilton, N.H., in 1912 to Orrin Twombley and Ethel Shaw Twombley. She was raised in Littleton, N.H., and graduated from Littleton High School in 1930. She went on to train as a registered nurse at the Littleton Hospital School of Nursing, earning her diploma in 1934. She married Roland (Jack) Smith on June 20, 1936. After purchasing a farm on Hilltop Road in 1945, they raised their four children, while Jack worked as a shop teacher at LHS and Clara drove school bus and worked as a nurse at Littleton Hospital. After the death of her husband in 1989, she continued to live on the farm until age 95. For the past two years, she has lived at Riverglen House, where she made many good friends. Clara enjoyed gardening, rug braiding, caring for animals, and especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Ladies Society, Farm and Home League, and Grange. Her life was guided by compassion and kindness toward others. She was predeceased by husband Roland in 1989; son William in 1999; daughter Sylvia in 1977. She is survived by son Jonathan (Jack) Smith and his wife Delia; daughter Kathleen Smith and her husband Jeffrey Canfield; daughter in law Shirley Smith; seven grandchildren, Thomas Smith, Sylvia Clark, Brandy Wasem, April Cooper, Sadie Starring, Grace Canfield, Benson Canfield; and four great-grandchildren, Blythe Wasem, Aida Starring, Willa Clark, Curran Smith. Roland was born on Feb. 2, 1918, in Burlington, Vt., the son of Edward and Josephine (Robillard) Beaupre. He married Frances Warren on June 8, 1940, in Vermont. Roland had been self-employed for 50 years as a dental lab tech. He was a very active member in his church, St. John the Evangelist in Johnsbury, Vt., and the Kiwanis Club. Roland loved music and had played drums with the Benny Goodman Band. Roland is survived by his wife, Frances; his children, Donna (Rich) Parr of Mt. Pleasant and Fr. R. Bradley Beaupre of Viera, Fla.; two grandchildren, Brian (Laura) Parr of Aiken, S.C., and Kevin Parr of Wenatchee, Wash.; and one great-grandchild Noah Parr. , 69, formerly of Groveton, N.H., died peacefully at Coos County Nursing Hospital in West Stewartstown, where he has been a resident since 2005, after a lengthy illness. Born in Lancaster, N.H., on Oct. 4, 1939, a son of the late Lawrence and Mildred (Smith) Gonyer, he grew up in Groveton and attended Groveton schools. Ron lived several years in Brockton, Mass., and Windsor, Vt., before moving to West Stewartstown. Feb. 12, 1965, Ronald joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served his country until March 13, 1973. During this time he served three tours in Vietnam, received the National Defense service medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Presidential Unit Citation. Ronald is survived by three brothers: Lawrence Gonyer and wife Rita of Bow, N.H.; John Gonyer and wife Waneta of Maidstone, Vt.; and Thomas Gonyer and wife Sandra of Groveton; two sisters: Pauline Papineau of West Lebanon, N.H., and Marilyn Cronk and husband Lin of Chicopee, Mass.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by, his parents, four brothers (Neil, Paul, Russell and James), and four sisters (Althea Palmer, Barbara Fish, Natelie Nutting and Romona Woodward.) There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the Northumberland Cemetery with Pastor Aaron Cox of the Groveton United Methodist Church officiating.

, 81, of Lyndonville and formerly of St. Johnsbury, died Sunday morning, April 26, 2009, at St. Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 2, 1927, in St. Johnsbury, the son of the late Henry and Marie (Castonguay) Laliberte. Ronald graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy. He served in the army during the WWII occupation of Europe. He returned to school to study accounting. On Aug. 16, 1948, he married Aline Lacroix; they lived in Boston where they began their family, moving to St. Johnsbury in 1966. An employee of the State of Vermont, Ronald worked as an auditor and accountant for 20 years. Ron was a member of the Elks Lodge #1343 of St. Johnsbury and was a past exulted ruler. He also was a life member of the American Legion Post 58 of St. Johnsbury. While in Boston he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Ron enjoyed family time spent at their camp on Island Pond. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Aline Laliberte of Lyndonville; two children, Christine Oakes and husband Alex of Passumpsic, Mark Laliberte and wife Susan of West Charleston; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Leopold Laliberte and wife Ann of Florida; two brothers in-law: John Lacroix and wife Agnes of Nashua, N.H., Gustave Lacroix and wife Elaine of Maryland; nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Johnsbury Wednesday, April 29, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in St. Johnsbury. Fr. Jon Schnobrich will be the officiant. , 86, of Piermont, N.H., died Sunday, April 26, 2009, at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, N.H., surrounded by her family. She was born on Dec. 22, 1922, the daughter of Leander and Anna (Smith) Dexter. She attended schools in Topsham. On Sept. 5, 1952, she was married to Arthur James who survives. She enjoyed raising her four children, holidays, cooking and spending as much time with all of her family as possible. She was a past member of the Piermont Congregational Church. She is survived by her husband Arthur of Piermont; one daughter, Barbara Stimpson of Bradford; three sons, Dexter Knapp of Haverhill, N.H., Dale Knapp of Newbury, and Bradley James of Piermont; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two step-grandchildren; four sisters, Blanch King of Orlando, Fla., Freda McLam of Topsham, Eunice McLam of East Corinth, and Evelyn Moulton of Westfield, Mass.; one brother, Leo Dexter of East Barre; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one grandson, Shawn Bixby and five brothers, Martin, Lewis, King, Harold and Everett Dexter. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at 10 a.m., at Hale Funeral Home, Upper Plain, Bradford, with Rev. Candace Ricker officiating. Burial will follow in the family lot in the East Corinth New Cemetery in East Corinth. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Hale Funeral Home. , 60, Woodsville, N.H., died on Sunday, April 26, 2009, at the Cottage Hospital in Woodsville. Gerald was born in Haverhill, N.H., Nov. 20, 1948, the son of Clinton Wilbur and Frances Dora (Cushing) Boyce. He graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy Trade School in St. Johnsbury. Gerald served in the U. S. Army for two years. He worked as a carpenter for his brother Larry at Boyce Carpentry in Wells River. He thoroughly enjoyed growing plants. He was predeceased by his father, Clinton W. Boyce. Survivors include his children, Sherry Fisher and husband Terry of Lisbon, N.H., Hollie Boyce of Montgomery, Texas, Gary Boyce of St. Johnsbury, Chris Boyce and wife Veronica of Newbury, Nick Boyce of New York, Emily Boyce of New York, Vanessa Bradford, Crystal Bradford, and Ashley Bradford all of Woodsville; 15 grandchildren; his mother, Frances (Cushing) Boyce of North Haverhill, N.H.; two sisters, Brenda Boyce of Wells River, and Joy George of Woodsille; a brother, Larry Boyce of Wells River; his fiance` Priscilla Bradford of Woodsville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at 1 p.m., in the Boltonville Cemetery, Newbury.

, 56, of South Road in Gilmanton, died at lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia, N.H., on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Mr. Skinner was born July 14, 1952, in Hartford, Conn., the son of Edward M. and Ruth (Lucey) Skinner. He lived in Chester, Conn., for several years before moving to the Concord area 25 years ago. Mr. Skinner was employed by the state of New Hampshire for 23 years. Mr. Skinner enjoyed playing cards, fishing and lobstering and he enjoyed physical labor. Survivors include his wife, Babette Ann (Stone) Skinner, of Gilmanton; six daughters, Emily Lyon of Epsom, N.H., Sara Skinner of Coeu d'Alene, Idaho, Jennifer Bogang of Seattle, Wash., Rebecca Skinner of Manchester, N.H., Jamie Mullen of Leicester, N.Y., and Julie Stone of Gilmanton, N.H.; his brothers Edward Skinner of Albany, and Gary Skinner of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; five grandchildren; and his stepfather Donald Wustrack of Connecticut. , 88, Littleton, N.H., passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Lafayette Center in Franconia, N.H. Katherine was born on April 24, 1920, the daughter of Milton and Katherine Mooney in Littleton. Katherine, who was nicknamed "Did," was employed as a milk truck driver for the Richardson Farm in Littleton during World War II. Her route encompassed Littleton, Dalton, N.H., Lunenburg, and Gilman. She was also a manager and cook at Littleton High School for many years. Katherine enjoyed golfing, reading and gardening. She loved animals, especially her cats. At her home she loved to sit on her porch and watch the birds and wildlife. She is survived by her sister, Irene Little and her husband, Richard Little of Lafayette Center in Franconia; her brother-in-law, Laurence (Skip) Spreadbury of Littleton; nieces Debbie Boynton and husband, Edward C. Boynton of Littleton, Diane McFarland and husband, Gary McFarland of Bethlehem, N.H.; nephew David Spreadbury of Benton, N.H.; as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Emmons, son, Hollis Emmons, parents Milton and Katherine Mooney, her brothers Everett Mooney, Hollis (Tom) Mooney and her sister, Thelma (Mooney) Spreadbury. Graveside services will be held on April 29, 2009, at 3:30 p.m., at the Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Marcel Martel as celebrant.
