, 43, of Lake Worth, Fla., died on Jan. 3, 2008, in Lake Worth, Fla., after a sudden illness. Driscoll was born in Lancaster, N.H., on April 20, 1964, a son of Edward Driscoll and June (Smith) Probst. He was a 1982 graduate of White Mountain Regional High School and a two-time wrestling champion. He later served in the U.S Coast Guard out of Portland, Maine. Teddy should be remembered for his love of family, wrestling, hunting, fishing, and his successful abilities as a great chef. Family members include his father, Edward Driscoll and his wife, Carolyn of Lancaster, N.H.; four daughters, Jennifer and Katie Miller of Littleton, N.H., Chelsea and Jessica Driscoll of Franconia, N.H.; two brothers, Mark Driscoll and his wife, Donna of Littleton, N.H., and Edward "Moochy" Driscoll and his wife, Penny of Dalton, N.H.; two sisters, Heidi Driscoll of Lancaster, N.H., and Shannon Driscoll of Whitefield, N.H.; his nephews, Mark Driscoll of Beaumont, Texas, and Luke Driscoll of Littleton, N.H.; Josh Robinson of Dalton, N.H.; Trudy (Frunza) Robinson of Charlotte, N.C.; his stepfather, Vince Probst of Lake Worth, Fla. He was predeceased by, his mother June and a niece Randi Ann Driscoll. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m. at All Saints Church, Lancaster, N.H. The Rev. , age 85, of Whitefield, N.H., passed away on Jan. 20, 2008, at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, N.H. Mary was born on June 8, 1922, a daughter to Mary Binford (Sledge) and Caph Philip St. John Moore, in Weldon, N.C. She graduated from Weldon High School, completed P. G. Business Course at Roanoke Rapids High School, and graduated from the University of North Carolina Woman's College. Mary was active in Dedham, Mass. as co-president, with her husband, of the Ames School P.T.A.; a member of the Dexter School Building Committee, a teacher and treasurer of the Allin Congregational Church Sunday School; and was a charter member of the Dedham Conservation Commission. She was also active in the Navy Relief Society in Norfolk, Va. After relocating to Whitefield, N.H., Mary owned and operated the Fairweather Shop in Whitefield for 27 years. She was a member of the Whitefield Chamber of Commerce, the Whitefield Historical Society, of which she was president for several years; a member of the White Mountain Garden Club; and the Littleton Regional Hospital Volunteers. Mary is survived by her husband, Willington Boles Fairweather of Whitefield, NH; two sons, Samuel Rossiter Fairweather of Whitefield, N.H. and Lt. John Sledge Fairweather, U.S. Navy of Suffolk, Va; a stepson, Willington Boles Fairweather of Newton, Mass.; two brothers, Philip St. John Moore Jr. of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; Sledge Moore of Moyock, N.C.; a sister, Martha Moore Benett of Arden, N.C.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may join Mary's family for a celebration of Mary's life at an informal reception to share their memories of Mary on Thursday, Jan. 24 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Community Baptist Church Hall in Whitefield, N.H. , 79, of Sterling, formerly of Pocono Lake and New York City, died Friday in Brighten at Julia Ribaudo, Lake Ariel. She was the widow of David MacDonald Gallagher who died in 1984. Born in Victory, Vt., daughter of the late Orien and Dorothea Bickford Dunn, she had resided in Sterling for the past 18 years. She had been employed as manager of the gift shop at Mount Airy Lodge. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. The family wishes to thank the staff of Brighten at Julia Ribaudo for their loving care. Surviving are a son, Bruce J. and wife, Denise, Gallagher, New York City; a daughter, Gail Denn and husband, Ronald R. Butler, Sterling; five grandchildren, Darci Edwards, East Benton; Howard Butler, Elizabethtown; David Butler, Sterling; and Kyle and Kimberly Gallagher, both of New York City; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Lyman and wife, Annabelle, Dunn, Victory; nieces and nephews. , 61, of Trenton, N.J., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, N.J. Born in Concord, Vt., he was a longtime Trenton area resident. A U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam era, Mr. Briggs retired from American Standard, Trenton Plant after 25 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post 31 and enjoyed hunting, fishing and going on cruises. He loved life and adored his grandchildren. Son of the late Lyndell Briggs and Mary Alice Briggs Smith and stepson of the late Kingsley Smith, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Briggs; his children, Tammy Amari and her husband, Claudio and Richard W. Briggs Jr. and his wife, Kimberly; five grandchildren, Gioacchino, Stephanie, Anthony, Austin and Brianna; mother-in-law Ruth Krukowski; brothers Robert, Alan and Lawrence; sisters Alice and Betty; half brother John; and half sisters Beverly, Darlena and Marlisa. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown, N.J. Interment will follow in Emley's Hill Cemetery. , 82, died Wednesday afternoon at the Springfield Health & Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, Vt. He was born Dec. 16, 1925, in Lyndon, Vt., the son of Alfred and Iva (Davidson) Cox. He attended schools in the Lyndon area. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a third-class boat swain aboard the U.S.S. Matole oil tanker, which was the only ship of 16 to survive a German Wolf Pack submarine attack while on a mission in the North Atlantic. He was married to Beverly O. Goodwin on June 28, 1947, in Lyndon. She predeceased him on Nov. 25, 2002. Mr. and Mrs. Cox owned and operated a dairy farm in Albany, Vt. from 1947 to 1963, and moved to North Springfield, Vt., in 1963. He was employed at Dufresne-Henry in North Springfield for 10 years, then was self-employed for 20 plus years owning and operating a construction business and sawmill in Baltimore, Vt. Mr. Cox was also road commissioner for the town of Baltimore for 10 plus years. Mr. Cox enjoyed hunting and puttering, always having a project to work on. He is survived by two sons, Dan Cox of Baltimore, Vt. and Jeff Cox of Springfield; one daughter, Faith Goodwin of Baltimore; two sisters, Leah Smith of Lyndonville, Vt. and Hazel Dwinell of Springfield; also by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother Elmer Cox, and three sisters, Zelda, Ruth and Louisa. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at the Assembly of God Church in Springfield. The Rev. Eric Lewis pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Springfield. A gathering will follow the burial services back at the Assembly of God Church in Springfield. , 95, of Westmore and Bradenton, Fla., died Jan. 22, 2008, in Bradenton. She was born on Jan. 8, 1913, in West Charleston, Vt., to Joseph Labor and Mary Kerr (Hall). After graduating from Barton Academy in 1932, she married Lawrence A. Sicard Sr. on Sept. 15, 1932. He predeceased her on Sept. 16, 1968. To this union was born 11 children. She is survived by nine of them: Lawrence Sicard Jr. and his wife, Shirley of Barton, Barbara Perkins and Carroll Larocque of Orleans and Summerfield, Fla., David Sicard and his wife, Penny of Bridport, Vt., and Palmetto, Fla., Michael Sicard and his wife, Carol of Bradenton, Fla., Elizabeth (Betsy) Diette and her husband, Armand of Sutton and Summerfield, Fla., Susan Sicard of Lyndonville, Judith Fitzpatrick and her husband, Peter of Mooresville, N.C., Terry Sicard and his wife, Christine of Westmore, Patrice Royer and her husband, Gary of Lyndonville. Besides her children she is survived by 44 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Priscilla Sicard of Bradenton, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Mary Sicard of Barton; a brother-in-law, Bill Malshuk of Irasburg; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. During her last few years of living independently in Florida, her niece, Dottie Rossier and her husband, Sam visited her daily. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth in infancy; a son, James Sicard, Bradenton, Fla.; two brothers, Carl and Merton Labor; three sisters, Beatrice Larocque, Marion Simons, Genevieve Malshuk; a son-in-law, Raymond Perkins; twin grandsons and granddaughter Fitzpatrick; great-grandchildren Roger Simino and Leah Wells. She and her husband operated a dairy farm for many years in Westmore, where she also prepared hot lunches for students at Lakeview Elementary School, cooking them on a wood stove. While on the farm, she and her husband were members of the Farm Bureau Association, grange, and she was a member of the Kris Kringle Club. Although she had many children of her own to raise, her door was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay, whether it was for a night, a week, or years. She cared for her sick mother before her death. There was always enough food on the table and a place to sleep. As her children grew, married and started families of their own, the "farm" was a popular place to go on Sunday afternoons She cooked big Sunday dinners for all who wanted to attend. Many of the grandchildren have fond memories of playing outside while the adults were inside visiting or playing penny poker. She loved to play cards and poker which were her favorites. She thoroughly enjoyed playing Bingo and Yahtzee any time she could. Many of her family and friends were welcome into both of her homes when they needed a place to live. She also loved having them at her house and she was a positive influence in the direction of their lives. She was an excellent cook and really enjoyed feeding the flock of people that called her house home. Laughter, light bantering, and fun could be expected when people gathered. Raised donuts with her homemade frosting or syrup were her specialty and although she would try to teach her children, grandchildren and even her great-grandchildren the art, they never were quite the same because her special touch and love was just not there. For many years she made her winter home in Bradenton, Fla., and her summer home in Westmore, Vt., caring for herself until last year when she could no longer live independently. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, Elm Street, Barton. She was born in Newport, Vt. on Dec. 10, 1951, the daughter of Walter and Carol (Hackett) Leach. She graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy, class of 1970. She married William Parker Dec. 13, 1976. She is survived by her husband Bill (118 Model A. , 86, of Sebring, Fla., passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008, in Sebring. He was born July 3, 1921, to E.A. and Verna Eva (Bowen) Lawson in Coventry, Vt., and had been a resident of Sebring since 2006, coming from Inverness, Fla. He was a real estate auctioneer, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during World War II and Korea and attended Union Congregational Church in Avon Park, Fla. He was a member of the VFW in Lyndonville, Vt., served as a selectman in the town of Lyndon, Vt., was the founder of Speedwell, Inc. in Lyndon and called the Harness Racing for the Caledonia Fair. After retirement, Mr. Lawson enjoyed golfing, skeet shooting, hunting and caravanning in his Airstream. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Calista Lawson; daughter, Marilee Nichols, Sebring, Fla.; grandchildren, Brian Nichols, Lyndonville, Vt. and Kathleen (Nelson) Dodge, Lyndonville, Vt.; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Rylie, Delanie and Kerbie Nichols and Isabel Dodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, E.A. and Verna Lawson.
Clayton A. Robinson

of Passumpsic, Vt., died peacefully at home Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008. He was born at home on the farm in Lyndon on April 30, 1922. His parents were the late Andrew and Rosetta (Beck) Robinson. He and his brother Earl took over the family farm as soon as he finished elementary school. Meanwhile, he started playing banjo at dances when he was 13 and learned to play any stringed instrument. He married Carol Nutting April 10, 1946. Following their cross-country honeymoon, they bought the Charles Harvey farm south of Passumpsic where they have lived ever since. In 1949, he and his father-in-law built Robinson's Pavilion on the farm. The whole family operated the pavilion until 1979. In 1966, Clayt and Carol bought Cedar Grove dance hall, now Max's, in Sutton and operated it until 1977. In 1960, he built Robinson's Sawmill, which burnt in 1993. The Robinson family also had a food booth at Caledonia County Fair for 11 years. In 1984, Clayt went into the woods and logged until November of 2006. He was very much a 'stay at home' family man. On Oct. 16, 1975, the Robinson's suffered the loss of their daughter, Mary Robinson. An infant granddaughter, Rosetta Bullock, passed away in 1969. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Nutting) Robinson (2722 U.S. Route 5, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819); 13 children, Gloria R. Bullock and husband David of Marshville, N.C., Andrew J. , 61, of St. Johnsbury, passed away at home Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, with her loved ones by her side. She was born on Dec. 8, 1946, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, one of eight children born to Edson and Lillian (Sanville) Blake. She was predeceased by sisters Eleanor, Elsie, Margaret and Patricia. When she was able, Linda transported the elderly for Rural Community Transportation (RCT). She had worked at the old Ames location on Portland Street in St. Johnsbury. For the past several years, her health had steadily declined. She loved playing host for family and cooking large meals, and going for long rides in the country. Her little dog Iggy brought her much joy and was a beloved member of the family. She is survived by her husband Mirko (1661 Stark District Road, 05819); two sons, Bobby Ignjatovic (and fiancee Lynn Bushey) of St. Johnsbury, Mirko Ignjatovic (and wife Renee) of St. Johnsbury; two grandsons, Daegan and Camden; two brothers, Edson 'Junior' Blake and wife Dot of Beebe, Quebec, Seth 'Babe' Blake and wife Nancy of Ocala, Fla.; one sister, Delia Piche of St. Johnsbury; cousins, nieces and nephews. , lifelong St. Johnsbury, Vt., resident of Higgins Hill, passed away at The Pines Saturday morning, Jan. 26, 2008, at the age of 82. She was the widow of Harold Stanyon Sr. She was born in St. Johnsbury on Jan. 18, 1926, the next to the youngest of eight children born to John E. and Edna (Armstrong) Conly. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Conly, who died at the age of 6; brother Lt. George Conly, killed during World War II; and brother J. Raymond Conly. Marion attended graded school at Portland Street School and graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy, Class of 1944. Most of her working career was spent at St. Johnsbury Glovers where she was a floor supervisor. She later worked at Fairbanks. Marion lived her entire life at the Conly family home on Higgins Hill where she cared for both her father and mother in their later years. She enjoyed summers at the family cottage on Miles Pond. She is survived by sisters Dorothy (Mrs. William B.) Cutting of St. Johnsbury and Eleanor Gonyaw and husband Curtis of Waterford; brothers Ralph Conly and wife Elsie of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Donald Conly of Springville, Utah; Marion's stepson, Harold Stanyon Jr. of Castleton; cousins, nieces, nephews and their families, and friends. of Glover, Vt., died peacefully at her home in West Glover surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with Leukemia. She was born in Manchester, Conn., the daughter of Charles and Evangeline (Karvelis) Delnicki. Donna was an avid gardener of flowers and vegetables, loved her dogs, horses, other pets, her family, and enjoyed doing things with them. She also enjoyed fishing, arts and crafts and generated many gifts for her family, which were created out of love. She is survived by her husband, Christopher Rodgers of West Glover; her stepmother, Beverly Delnicki of Wheelock; a brother, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Delnicki of Maine; her four children, Nathan Diebolt and his companion, Arianne Norris of Sutton, Melissa Amadon and her husband, Matt of Sutton, Amy Prucha of Lyndonville, and Loren Prucha of Sutton; and two grandchildren, Brooke Diebolt and Emma Amadon. She will also be deeply missed by her extended family, James and Nancy Rodgers of West Glover; Marsha and Michael Bishop and their children of Swanton; and Craig and Sarah Rodgers of Arlington, Mass.; and her dear friend, Sylvia Petrie of Burke. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Evangeline Delnicki, and a sister Beverly Delnicki. , 81, of West Topsham, Vt., died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008. She had been cared for at home by her family during her struggle with ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease. She was born Oct. 13, 1926, the youngest of five daughters of Douglas A. and Helen (Parker) Clark. Educated in Barre, she attended Lincoln School and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1944. Fifty-nine years ago, she married Harvey B. Otterman Jr., who survives her. They made their home in West Topsham where they raised three sons who also survive. Always a devoted homemaker and mother, her home was the site of many holiday observances which included neighbors and friends who had no family nearby and annual reunions for her extended family. Doris could be depended on to provide music at the churches in West Topsham and East Orange and for school functions when Topsham had its rural schools. Always a sports fan, she actively supported and provided transportation for the local youth baseball teams and in the winter months, Barre youth hockey in its early days at the outdoor rink at North Barre. She is survived by her husband, Harvey B. Otterman Jr. of West Topsham; three sons, Stephen and his wife, Maureen, David and his wife, Karen, and Thomas and his wife, Donna; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marjorie Hughs of Boca Raton, Fla., Janet Geals of Montpelier, and Ruth Ann Lyons of Birmingham, Ala.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the East Orange Church with the Rev. Candace Ricker officiating. Dorothy Ruth (Snelling) Berry

died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at Eden Park Health Care, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., at the age of 92. She was born July 13, 1915, in Sheffield, Vt., one of 15 children to the late Fred Wilbur and Mildred Ruby Snelling. On Oct. 14, 1936, in Wheelock, Vt., she married the late Garold A. Berry. Dorothy lovingly cared for her seven children at home in Wheelock until 1952 when the family relocated to Millbrook, N.Y. With her husband, Garold, they ran Berry's Gulf Station and Dot's Luncheonette at the traffic circle in South Millbrook until 1965. After her husband's death, Dorothy continued to live in the Village of Millbrook. When she became too frail to be on her own, she lived with her son, Doug, in Millbrook and then with her son, Amos, in Hyde Park, N.Y. Dorothy is survived by six children, Amos Berry of Hyde Park, Charles Berry and wife Doris of Brooksville, Fla., Doug Berry and wife Janet of Millbrook, Pastors Wayne and Maryann Berry of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Elaine Vitalis and husband Nick of Hustonville, Ky., and Norma Williams and husband Sam of Sheffield. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Pam, Cindy, Margaret, Mark, Tracy, Bob, Joe, Maria John, Christina, Nick Jr., Sam Jr. and Daniel; 13 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Allison, Billy, Ricky, Owen, Charlotte, A.J. Kaylynn, Krystal, Dixie, Rebecca, Matthew and Marianna and one great-great-grandchild, Abigail. She is also survived by two sisters, Florence Snelling-LaFrance of Swanton, Vt., and Ethera Snelling-Miles of Pownal, Vt., and over 60 nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Garold Berry, on March 14, 1984; her son, Burton, on July 22, 1962; her brothers, Donald, Richard, Carroll, Ronald, Wilbur, Robert, Edward Harland and Roger Snelling; and sisters, Cecile Snelling-Newland, Barbara Snelling-Berry, Patricia Snelling-Miles, and Eva Ann Snelling. She was also predeceased by brothers-in-law Harry Berry, George Berry, Ozzie Berry, Maynard Berry, Harold Berry, Maurice Berry, David Berry; and sisters-in-law Mabel Berry Player, Angie Berry-Cady, Alma Berry-Sinon, Elgie Berry-Ward and Reta Berry-Lynbaugh.
