Robert C. MacKillop
....show , 68, of North Road, died unexpectedly Thursday morning November 1, 2007.
Mr. MacKillop was born in Lancaster, on June 24, 1939, a son of Edward Alexander and Marguerite Musette (Kennett) MacKillop.
Bob was a life long resident of Lancaster; he was a 1958 graduate of Lancaster Academy. He served in the U.S Army in the mid 1950s and was stationed in Germany.He worked for many years as a Telecommunications Specialist for Western Union and also many years for Temple Construction, Lunenburg, VT. In later years he had a tree removal service.
Robert enjoyed going to Halfway Camp on Temple Mountain in Lunenburg, VT, helping others and was very giving.
Memberships include John W. Weeks V.F.W Post 3041, Lancaster; the American Legion Post #17, Groveton; the fraternal order of Moose, and the Cooties, where at one time he held all offices.
He is survived by seven brothers, Edward W. MacKillop of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Ronald MacKillop and his wife Kay of Guildhall, VT, James MacKillop and his wife Susan of Lancaster, John MacKillop and his wife Sandy of Lancaster, Michael MacKillop and wife Jade of Lancaster, Timothy MacKillop and wife Robin of Lancaster, and Richard MacKillop of Lancaster; seven sisters, Linda Hopps of Groveton, Peggy Brown of Lancaster, Cheryl MacKillop of Lancaster, Patricia Kipp and husband Steve of Florida, Judith Paschal and husband Wayne of Berlin, Joyce Bean of Lancaster, Debra MacKillop and Raymond Frizzell of Stark and his special friend Lorna McKinnon of Lancaster; 30 nieces and nephews, and 49 great nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday afternoon and evening November 3 from 2-4 and 6-9 at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the Christ United Methodist Church of Lancaster. Reverend Dr. Thomas W. Bentum, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Summer Street Cemetery.

Robert J. Marcotte Jr.
....show , 60, of the McKee Inn, died Saturday evening November 3, 2007, at Weeks Medical Center after a sudden illness.
Mr. Marcotte was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 11, 1947, the son of Robert J. and Phylis (Repa) Marcotte.
Robert was retired from the United States Navy, a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Radioman aboard the riverboats of the Mekong Delta; where commendations for achievement and valor summarized his distinctive service. He was a devoted shipmate, concerned father and a good friend to those near him.
Family members include three daughters, two brothers and two sisters. He was predeceased by, his parents and a younger brother Chief Electronics Technician Ronald J. Marcotte, USN.

BRISTOL, CONNECTICUT -
Eleanor M. Hartshorn
....show , 88, formerly of Lancaster, passed peacefully from her life on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at Bristol Hospital in Bristol, CT.
Mrs. Hartshorn was born in Berlin, NH on October 15, 1921; she was the only child of Cleveland and Margaret McGivney.
She attended Berlin schools and was a 1943 graduate of Plymouth Teachers College, as it was then known. She briefly taught in Hanover, NH, where a guest speaker in one of her classes was the poet, Robert Frost. Following her marriage to Harold Hartshorn in 1946, she moved to Lancaster, where she raised a family, taught for many years in the Lancaster School system, and led a life enriched by a multitude of dear, lifelong friends. Long after her retirement, she continued to receive cards and letters from many of her former students, who put to good use the lessons she taught them about English and about life.
She was a member and past president of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society, a member of the Tabernacle Society at All Saints Church, and an active and enthusiastic volunteer at Weeks Medical Center.
During her last, lengthy illness she never complained, but instead chose to focus on the many blessings in her life.
Family members include a daughter Judith Bomar and her husband David of Bristol, CT, a son David Hartshorn and his wife Deborah of Southington, CT. The grandchildren she so dearly loved also survive her, Jacqueline deRuyter and her husband Ben, Brian Hartshorn and his fiancée, Lisa Duffy; Meagan Kinney and her husband Justin; Lindsey Bomar; and Kaitlin Mary Hartshorn. In her lifetime she was also blessed by three great-grandchildren; Joshua, Lauren, and Marley deRuyer. She was predeceased by, her husband Harold of 35 years.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, November 12, from 6-8 PM, at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM, at All Saints Church, Lancaster. Reverend Raymond Ball, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lancaster.

Virginia E. Ward
....show , 87, of Sartwell Place, Whitefield died Saturday November 10, 2007, at Country Village Genesis Elder Care Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Ward was born in Northumberland, NH on September 6, 1920, a daughter of Charles F. and Hazel M. (Barrows) Hodge.
Virginia was raised in Groveton and was a graduate of Groveton High School, after High School she married her husband James J. Ward. They moved to North Carolina in the 1960s, where she worked in food service for 20 years, returning to the North Country in 1981.
She was a caregiver of others and enjoyed playing Bingo.
She was a past member of the Groveton United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Womens Club, and a present member of John W. Weeks Post 3041 Ladies Auxiliary.
Family members include a granddaughter Candace Reim of California and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by, her husband of 50 years, James, her son Charles E. Ward, and one brother and three sisters.
There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at 2:00 PM at the Christ United Methodist Church, Lancaster. Reverend Dr. Thomas W. Bentum, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Summer Street Cemetery.

Beatrice M. Timson
....show , 85, of West Main Street, died Tuesday morning November 13, 2007, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Timson was born in Lunenburg on July 11, 1922, the daughter of Alfred and Malvine (Bilodeau) Sivegny.
Beatrice has been a lifelong resident of Lunenburg having worked on the family farm and as a teen performed housework and child care. She later worked as a volunteer at Craft-Bag in Gilman. On June 20, 1946, she married William Timson and they had two children.
She was a Communicant of St. Leos Catholic Church, Lunenburg, and was very involved in church activities.
Beatrice loved to volunteer in the kitchen at the Headstart program and at the Elementary and Middle Schools. She was fond of watching the children play and through her later years many of the children fondly referred to her as Grammy.
Surviving family members include her son Danny Timson and his wife Debra of Lunenburg; a daughter Brenda Bryant and her husband Richard of Lunenburg; she also had five loving grandchildren whom she cared about very much and many nieces and nephews. Her husband William predeceased her and she was the last of six siblings.
Visiting hours will be held Friday evening, November 16, from 6-8 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

James P. Brady Sr.

November 25, 2007, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mr. Brady was born in Berlin, New Hampshire on December 22, 1916 the son of
Wilbrod and Adele (Dumont) Brady.
James attended Guardian Angel School and was a graduate of Berlin High
School. In 1938 he married Eleanor R. Cantell of Groveton, they moved to
Jefferson in 1941.This past summer they celebrated their 69th wedding
anniversary. He was a pioneer in the tourism industry, starting Six Gun
City, the western theme park in Jefferson in 1957. Six Gun City celebrated
its 50th anniversary this year.
Jim was an Eagle Scout, order of the Arrow and was later a Scout Master of
Troop 218 in Jefferson for over 3 decades. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed
camping, skiing, dog sledding, fishing and working with leather and wood.
He was a Communicant of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Jefferson.
Family members include his wife Eleanor, his children Lawrence, George and
his wife Cynthia, Jane, Richard, James Jr. and his wife Mary Ellen, Michael,
Karen, and Thomas; a sister Mary Jane Durdan; his grandchildren, Mark, Anne,
Patrick, Christine, Richard Jr., Sarah, Ellen, and Kerry; 10 great
grandchildren. He was predeceased by, a granddaughter Melissa and a sister
Grace Brady PM.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday afternoon and evening, November 27,

Elizabeth Marie Braley
....show , 71, died November 25, 2007, surrounded by family in the comfort of her daughters home in Lancaster, NH.
Born February 26, 1936 in Minto, NB, Canada. She was the daughter of Joseph and Beatrice (Maillett) Robichaud. Liz grew up in New Brunswick, Canada the youngest of eight children. She married her husband Dean in 1957 and moved to the States, where she and Dean raised their six children in Orrington. Liz worked as a homemaker and a waitress. She was a fabulous cook and maker of chocolates, which she shared with many. Liz also enjoyed quilting, knitting and creating many other works of art, which her family will cherish. Her smiles and laughs were contagious. Liz was always one to take care of others; she loved to give and was so generous.
Liz leaves behind her husband Dean of 50+ years, a son Dean Braley and his wife Shirley of Orland, ME, three daughters, Brenda and her husband Charles Robicheau of Bucksport, ME, Theresa Cabral and her fiancé Jon Chapman of Dedham, ME, and Rhonda and her husband Glenn Adams of Lancaster, NH. Eight grandchildren, Michael and his wife Jenny Robicheau of Bangor, Joe Robicheau of Bucksport, Tyler Cabral of Dedham, Daniel, Andrew and Nick Ireland of Lancaster, Alisa Bragg of Amherst and Tricia Smith of Brewer. Six wonderful great-grandchildren, Brandon, Cody, Ashley, Jared, Jacob, and newborn Jaxson Dean. Two sisters Yvonne Cavanaugh of St. Stephen, NB Canada, Florida Kellett and her husband Myron of Victoria, NB, Canada, one brother Laurie Robichaud and his wife Rose of Fredricton, NB, Canada and a very special nephew Gene Cavanaugh of Fredricton, NB, Canada and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, a son Gregory, a daughter Susan, two brothers Aimee and Gerald Robichaud, two sisters Leoda Collins and Rita Gallant.
Liz made many friends quickly during her short stay in NH thank you to all who touched her life and let her touch yours. She will be missed by so many.

Jean Carol Foss
....show , 81, died November 30, 2007 surrounded by her family and friends.
Born July 11, 1926 in Lancaster, the daughter of Cleo and Mildred (Boucher) Marshall, she was raised in Lancaster. On September 8, 1948, she was wed to Stewart R. Foss. After residing in Stoughton, MA for ten years, they moved back to Lancaster in 1964 to raise their family.
Jean was a graduate of Lancaster Academy (1944) and Becker Jr. College, Worcester, MA (1946). She worked for Lancaster Public Health as an Administrative Assistant, and throughout her life cared for many of her dear friends. Some of her hobbies included gardening, skiing and golfing.
She was a Communicant of All Saints Catholic Church, attending Mass daily.
She was also a CCD teacher, Eucharistic minister, lector, Treasurer of the Flower Fund Committee and member of the Tabernacle Society. She was also a member of the Emmons Smith Fund.
Jean was a devoted and beloved mother to her six children, Sharon Foss of Lancaster, Mark Foss and wife Rita of Warren, CT, Douglas Foss and wife Cindy of Pittsfield, MA, Andrew Foss and wife Carole of Belmont, NH, Thomas Foss and wife Marilyn of Lancaster, and Kevin Foss and wife Janet of Penacook, NH. She had 14 grandchildren: Adam, Diana, Greg, Erica, David, Ryan, Timothy, Katelyn, Derek, Christopher, Jillian, Nicholas, Michael and Stephanie, and four great-grandchildren.
Her parents and brother, Douglas Marshall, predeceased her.

Mrs. Force was born in Newark, NJ, on November 18, 1919, the daughter of Harry and Bertha (Lind) Plate.
Lillian was raised in West Orange, NJ, and graduated from high school there. In 1942 she married Carroll J. Force. Following her husbands career with General Electric they resided for a time in Schenectady, NY, later returning to New Jersey and eventually Stratford, CT. She has resided in Lancaster since 2002 to be near her family. She has been a 25-year cancer survivor.
She enjoyed golfing, bowling, card playing and traveling the world. Lillian was a Communicant of All Saints Church, Lancaster, and was a member of the Weeks Memorial Auxiliary, Colonel Town Senior Citizens, the Unity Club, the RSVP, and the Tabernacle Society at All Saints Church.
Family members include a son Richard C. Force Sr. and his wife Louise of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Richard C. Force Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Lancaster, Tania L. Drummond and her husband Robert J. Drummond Jr. of Littleton; six great-grandchildren, Andrew Force, Makenna Force, Madison Force, Alec Drummond, Tyler Drummond, Samantha Drummond; and a sister Marion Verstrate and her husband Theodore of New Jersey. Her husband predeceased her.

Rollie was born in Gilman, VT, on November 14, 1933, the son of Terrance and Mamie (Perkins) McKearney.
He was employed as working foreman at Georgia-Pacific then the Simpson Paper Company until his retirement in 1997.
He enjoyed hunting and woodworking.

Priscilla J. Mayberry
....show , 95, formerly of Lost Nation Road, Groveton, died Monday afternoon, December 3, 2007, at Country Village Genesis Elder Care.
Mrs. Mayberry was born in South Paris, Maine on March 18, 1912, a daughter of E. Burton and Mae (Aremberg) Curtis.
Priscilla was a graduate of Gould Academy, Bethel, Maine, and attended Long Island Hospital School of Nursing. Most of her life she was a private duty nurse but also worked for a time at Kent Nursing Home and Weeks Memorial Hospital. At one time she was a private duty nurse for Mrs. Jane (Sinclair) Weeks.
For many years she also resided at the Mayberry Potato Farm on Groveton Road.
She enjoyed going to camps at West Pond and at Maidstone Lake, she also enjoyed the outdoors, crossword puzzles and reading.
She was a member of the Methodist Church where she also sang in the choir. She was also a member and former employee of the Farm Bureau and member of the Grange.
Family members include two daughters, Marlene Hartlen of Florida, Robin Dorr of Naperville, Illinois; a brother Robert Curtis of Gorham, Maine; two sisters, Ruth Doyle of Franconia, Nancy Anderson of Lynn, MA; eleven grandchildren including James E. Carr and wife Kristin and Patrick Carr and wife Caroline all of Lunenburg, VT; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert V. Mayberry; a son Peter J. Carr; a stepson Richard Mayberry; and two grandsons, Christopher P. Carr and David Hartlen.

Daniel J. Truland
....show , 84, passed away on Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law Mo and Gil Rainault in Guildhall, Vermont.
Mr. Truland was born in Lancaster on February 17, 1923, the son of Daniel James and Mary (Robinson) Truland.
Dan was a lifetime resident of Lancaster graduating from Lancaster Academy in 1941. He also gradated from Holy Cross in 1944 and attended Rutgers University and the University of New Hampshire. During World War II he served with the US Army. For 39 years he was co-owner of F. B. Spaulding Company in Lancaster.
He served his community well, as a Boy Scout leader, trustee of Weeks Memorial Hospital, Lancaster National Bank Director, Weeks Hospital Volunteer, installed Lifeline systems, and was a longtime member of the Lancaster Ambulance Corp. In 1988 he was voted Lancaster Citizen of the Year. He also worked as a funeral attended at Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster, for many years.
He was a Communicant of All Saints Church, Lancaster, and a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. He was a life member of the American Radio Relay League, the Quarter Century Wireless Association, the Civil Air Patrol, the American Motorcyclist Association, and the Whitefield American Legion.
Surviving family members include his wife 53 years to Shirley (Moulton) Truland of Lancaster; four sons: Kevin Truland and his wife Colleen of Lancaster, Bruce Truland and his wife Yao of Lancaster, Earl Truland and his wife Sharon of Riverhead, NY, Alan Truland of Dalton; three daughters, Lynnette Siteman and her husband Frank, of Winchester, MA, Maureen Rainault husband Gil of Guildhall, VT, and Kathy Truland of Lancaster; ten grandchildren, Jacob Cote, Jonathan Ingerson, Jason Truland, Ben and his wife Koryn Ingerson, Taylor Ingerson, Jordan and her husband Jason Chester, Matt Truland, Jillian Bessette, Tyler Grieves and Genna Truland, and great-granddaughter-to-be, Lillian Ingerson. He is also survived by his only sister, Sister Maureen (Margaret) Truland OSB, who lives in Clyde, Mo.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday afternoon and evening December 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A rosary service will be held at 6:45 PM with the Knights of Columbus at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Sunday afternoon at 1:00 at All Saints Church. Rev. Raymond Ball, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the spring at the Calvary Cemetery, Lancaster.

Dean Braley
....show died December 6, 2007, in his daughters home in the extremely caring community of Lancaster, NH. He lost the war against cancer after 4 courageous battles.
Born October 23, 1934 in Old Town, Maine, the son of Edward and Carolyn (Geurin) Braley. He grew up in Old Town and Bangor and finally settled in Orrington in 1969 with his wife and family. Dean worked for many years as a pipe fitter traveling the state of Maine and at times the country. In 1985 he became the business agent for Local 321 in Brewer. He also served for a time with the US Army.
Dean loved to hunt, fish and entertain family and friends with his guitar and harmonica. He was always one for a good joke. Dean was a craftsman of many arts, loved nature, puzzles and card games. He fulfilled his retirement dream relaxing at camp on Rocky Pond in Orland in 1990.
Dean leaves a son, Dean Braley and his wife Shirley of Orland, daughter Brenda and her husband Charles Robicheau of Bucksport, daughter Theresa Cabral and her fiancé Jon Chapman of Dedham, Daughter Rhonda and her husband Glenn Adams of Lancaster, NH; 8 grandchildren, Michael and wife Jenny Robicheau of Bangor, Joe Robicheau of Bucksport, Tyler Cabral of Dedham, Daniel, Andrew and Nick Ireland of Lancaster, NH. Alisa Bragg of Amherst and Tricia Smith of Brewer; and 6 wonderful great-grandchildren, Brandon, Cody, Ashley, Jared, Jacob and newborn Jaxson dean; two sisters, Rose Danforth and her husband Doug, and Bette Jamison all of Brewer; on brother James Braley and his wife Becca of Bailyville; many nieces and nephews. Dean was predeceased by his parents; his wife of 50 years Elizabeth; a son Greg and daughter Susan; 3 sisters Jane Tedesco, Brenda Gray and Calie Eacman; and two brothers, Timothy and Leslie Braley. Deans family has been at complete awe for the kindness and support given from all in the Lancaster community. Thank you all so very much.
Visiting hours will be held for both Dean and Elizabeth, Tuesday December 11th from 3:00 to 5:00 PM with a memorial service directly following at the Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State Street, Brewer, Maine. ....show , 73, of W. Lunenburg Road died Friday morning, December 7, 2007, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center after a sudden illness.
Mrs. ONeal was born in East Lyme, Connecticut on January 2, 1934, the only child of Caleb and Esther (Carlson) Johnson.
Sylvia was raised in Naugatuck, CT and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School; she attended New Haven Nursing School where she earned her nursing degree. She worked for several years at New Haven Hospital. She moved to Lunenburg in 1984 and began working for St. Johnsbury Home Health and for a time as a Nurses Aid at Morrison Nursing Home in Whitefield.
She enjoyed crocheting, collecting lighthouses, camping and traveling.
Family members include a daughter Laurie Whetzel of Houston, Texas; a son Donald Ray ONeal Jr.of Lunenburg, VT; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by, her son Robert C. ONeal and a daughter Bonnie ONeal.
Memorial visiting hours will be held on Monday December 10 from 4-6 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Lunenburg.

Marilyn Roy
....show , 72, died Saturday morning December 8, 2007, at St. Johnsbury Health and Rehab.
Marilyn was born in Gilman, VT on May 27, 1935, the daughter of Albert A. and Caroline (Foster) Roy.
She was a graduate of Concord High School and attended Lyndon Teachers College. For a time she served with the US Air Force; she was employed with the Gilman Credit Union and later she worked at the Citizens Bank, St. Johnsbury, VT for over 20 years as a teller and later a bookkeeper.
There were many things she enjoyed in life including traveling and her camp on Miles Pond; she was known for her love of the ducks there. Her greatest love was hunting and fishing.
She is survived by, her stepmother Joyce Roy of Gilman, VT; her best friend since childhood, Joseph Gallinelli also of Gilman; close friend and hunting companion, Sydney Partridge of North Concord, VT, dear friends Pat Gray and Diane Brinley both of St.Johnsbury, VT; cousins Mr. & Mrs. Michael Mahurin, Hannah Mahurin and Allyson Mahurin, all of Hill, NH, several other cousins, aunts and uncles.
There are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Riverside Cemetery, S. Lunenburg, VT.

Fred A. Emerson
....show , 75 of Garland Road, Lancaster, passed away late Thursday evening on December 13, 2007, at Weeks Medical Center.
Mr. Emerson was born on January 10, 1932, in East Lancaster, son of the late Everett A. Emerson Sr. and Frances (Hall) Emerson. He was one of nine children. In 1952, he married his wife Myra E. (Manson) Emerson. They were married for 55 years and raised a family of five children.
He is survived by a sister Linda Fraser of Lancaster, NH, and a brother Jon Emerson, of North Stratford, NH. He was in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Personnel Director of Ampad Corporation.
His children, all living include, Holly H. Emerson of Puyallup, WA, Roxie A. Severance and husband John of Whitefield, Lorraine J. Emerson and husband Michael Dauphinais of Westminster, MA, Tammy R. Lazott and husband William of Lancaster, and Mark M. Emerson and wife Terri of Lancaster.
He was a very proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He leaves behind: Christopher Severance and wife Deborah and daughters Kaitlyn, age 6, Jillian, age 3, of Derry, NH; Belinda King and her husband Stanley and daughter Rheya, Age 4, of Bedford, NH; Kurt Severance and wife Alysson and their children Claudia, age 3, and Jackson , age 1, of Maynard, MA; John Emerson, age 18, of Lancaster and Amber Emerson, age 17, of Lancaster.
Fred was well known as a community leader serving both his church and other community organizations. He was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, Lancaster, organized and coordinated the annual Ecumenical Easter Sunrise Service in Lancaster for approximately 40 years, he led a lay ministry at Country Village Health Care Center for 38 years; Chairman of the Lancaster Planning Board, Past President of the Lancaster Historical Society, Treasurer of CEDC, and Past Lancaster Fair Director.
Calling hours will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, December 15, at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A service of Christian burial will be Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the Christ United Methodist Church, Lancaster. Reverend Dr. Thomas Bentum, pastor, will officiate. Reverend Curtis W. Smith will co-officiate. Burial will follow in the Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster.

Terrence J. White
....show , 63, of Brown Road, died on Tuesday evening,
December 18, 2007, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon.
Mr. White was born in Buffalo, NY on April 3, 1944, a son of Roland H. and
Virginia (Tucker) White.
Terrence was 18 months old when his family moved to Lancaster. He was a 1962
graduate of Lancaster High School. His employment included owning a service
station in St. Johnsbury, VT; he was also a manager of a Drive-In in Twin
Mountain and Vermont. He moved to Scarborough, Maine and worked for Snows
Clam Chowder, W.H. Nichols, and in the maintenance department at Konica. He
has been a resident of Groveton for the past twelve years.
He was great Nascar fan of Bill Elliott.
Family members include his mother of Lancaster, his wife of 29 years Darlene
(Blaisdell) White of Groveton; two children, Larry White of Deluth, GA and
Karen Degreenia of Sutton, VT; three stepchildren, Stephen R. Alley and
Scott D. Alley both of New Hampshire and Melissa J. Simonelli of North
Carolina; two sisters, Joan Carrier of Cape Elizabeth, ME and Sharon
Chamberlain of Danville, VT, 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and
nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by, his father in 1989.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday December 21, from 5-8 PM, at the
Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on
Saturday morning at 11:00, at All Saints Church, Lancaster. Father Raymond
Ball, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be held in the spring in Calvary
Cemetery.

EAST CONCORD, VT -
Howard N. MacDonald
....show , 80, of Oregon Road, died Saturday December 22, 2007, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mr. MacDonald was born in Concord, VT on September 17, 1927, a son of Harry and Cleona (Nichols) MacDonald.
Howard was a lifetime resident of E. Concord. He was in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Georgia Pacific, Gilman for several years until his retirement.
His greatest joy was his grandchildren and truly enjoyed time spent with them. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, snow mobiling and was an excellent carpenter, building homes for his children.
He was a member of the Littleton Square Dance Club, Gilman American Legion
Post #41, Concord Moose Club #82, and the East Concord United Methodist Church.
Family members include his wife of 52 years Ruth (Baker) MacDonald of E. Concord, two sons Steven MacDonald and his friend Cheryl of Waterford, VT and Stanley MacDonald and his wife Dawn of E. Concord; two daughters Sandra Lowell and her husband Tom of Waterford and Sonya Boulay and her husband William of Lunenburg; 3 grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, and Trent Lowell; his sister Lillian Tatro of E. Concord. He was predeceased by, his brother John MacDonald in 2005.

Priscilla M. Moore
....show , surrounded by her family, died suddenly of heart complications at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, on December 23, 2007.
Mrs. Moore was born in North Stratford on March 8, 1931. She was raised there and was a graduate of Stratford High School. For several years she resided in Colebrook with her husband and family. In 1968 they moved to Lancaster where she resided for the duration of her life.
Priscilla was a wonderful wife and mother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving family include her husband of 51 years, Bruce Moore of Lancaster; her eldest son Barry Moore, his wife Denise and their sons Christopher and Ian, of Bedford, NH; a son Kevin and friend Doug Piers of Lynn, MA; a daughter Terry Capute, her husband Doug and their daughter Amanda, of Lancaster; her youngest son Shawn Moore and his son Cameron of Lancaster; two sisters, Norma Roberts of Lancaster and Elsie Bradway of Massachusetts; and many nieces and nephews.
At Priscillas request there will be no visiting hours. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at All Saints Church, Lancaster. An announcement will be posted at that time.
