, 71, of Irasburg died at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, December 5, 2005. Mrs. Letourneau was born July 10, 1934, in St. Prosper, Quebec, a daughter of Rudolph and Rose-Aimée (Rancourt) Poulin. On May 21, 1955, she married Leon Letourneau, who survives her. Together they owned and operated a farm in Irasburg for many years. She sold Avon products for 30 years. She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the Community Circle and the Forever Young Club and a former member of the Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards, baking, watching her soap operas, and listening to country music. She loved flowers. She also enjoyed going to church and family gatherings, watching her grandchildren, and eating dumplings (les grandspere). Besides her husband of 50 years, Leon, she is survived by her children: Nelson Letourneau and his wife, Judy, of Winooski, Gaetan Letourneau and his wife, Cindy, of Irasburg, Nicole Lafleur and her husband, Claude, of Orleans, France Letourneau and her companion, PeterJarry, of Orleans, Sylvie Perkins and her companion, Steve Nichols, of Irasburg, and Carmen Columbia and her husband, Shawn, of Coventry; by her foster son Bill Thompson and his wife, Lucille, of Derby Line; by her daughter-in-law Valerie Sheehan and her husband, Colin, of Richford; by her foster daughter Linda Major of Newport; by her grandchildren: Pierre, Charlene, Ronnie, Travis, Jocelyn, Michael, Chantal, Sonya, Jessica, Jonathan, Jesse, Michelle, Dana, Trevor, Shawna, and Austin; by her great-grandson Pierre Jr.; by her siblings: Lucille Samson and her husband, William, of St. Prosper, UlyssePoulin of Stanstead, Quebec, OdileFavreau of Newport, Charles Poulin and his wife, Sylvie, of Stanstead, and Gaetane Flanders and her husband, Allen, of Stanstead; by her brother-in-law Louis Nazaire Samson of St. Prosper; and by her pet dog, Kazoo. She was predeceased by her siblings: Georgette Morin, Louis Poulin, Jeanne D'arcLoubier, and Laurence Samson; and by her infant siblings: Marcelle, Luc, Levi, Prosper, and Normand. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated December 9 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Orleans with the Reverend Daniel Rupp officiating. Spring interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Newport. , 77, most recently of Rochester, died on December 2, 2005. Mrs. Moeykens was born to Duncan Bothwell and Barbara (Holloway) Bothwell in Sherbrooke, Quebec, on May 17, 1928. The oldest of three daughters, she came to Newport to live with her aunt and uncle during the war. She was educated in the Newport school system and graduated from Newport High School on May 26, 1944, just after her sixteenth birthday. She worked for her aunt and uncle at American Maple and served as a secretary connected with war service for soldiers in Montreal, Quebec. She married Harry O. Niles Jr. on November 13, 1944, and continued working until the end of the war when he came home. She and her husband restored a home in Troy while having five children: Harry O. "Scotty" Niles III, his wife, Claire, of Brush Prairie, Washington, their sons Eric and Ivan, Eric's wife, Jen, and their children, one of whom predeceased her on December 1; Frank H. Niles, his wife, Delores, of Newport Center, and his daughter Amanda; Danny A. Niles, who as a toddler predeceased her; Stuart B. Niles, his wife, Pam, of Shirley, Massachusetts, their son Frank, their daughter Jessie, and Jessie's children; and Patricia A. "Freddie" Graves, her husband, Ron, and their three daughters, Lindsey, Laura, and Eliza. In 1963 she took a job with the U.S. Department of Agriculture at the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) in Newport. On August 8, 1968, she married Bernard L. Moeykens. They moved to Richmond and she became director of the ASCS office in Washington County until her retirement in 1990. She was a true ally to the farming community. She built a house in Moretown in 1976 and was very proud of doing it on her own. She loved being a nana and indulged in that until she was bitten by the game of golf. After her retirement and in between games of golf she continued to take joy in her grandchildren, play bridge, work with Circle II and at the food shelf, help with Exit 10, volunteer at the library, and take an active role at the Waterbury Congregational Church. In her spare time she read, knit, and made crafts, and in her early years, loved to ice skate. She was a lifelong member of National Association of ASCS County Office Employees and the International Association of Turtles. She often wondered how she had found time to work. She is also survived by two sisters, Pam Layton, her husband, Billy, and their children and grandchildren and Elaine Knight, her husband, Garland, and their children and grandchildren. Mrs. Moeykens' life will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 28, at 11 a.m. at the Congregational church in Waterbury. , 66, of Derby died in Newport on Sunday, December 11, 2005. Mrs. Hoffarth was born in New York City on March 16, 1939, a daughter of Alexander and the late Mary (Pesce) Docos. She worked as a secretary for Joe Namath and as a ballroom dance instructor for the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in New York City. She was very generous to national and international Christian charities and animal societies. She was a great animal lover and devoted Christian and patriarch. She enjoyed spending time with her pets, dancing, driving, and visiting friends. She is survived by her father, Alexander Docos, of Yonkers, New York; by her brothers: George Docos of Yonkers, Steve Docos, his wife, Carla, and their son Jonathan of Derby, and Billy Docos; by her sisters Cindy Delbene and Vicky Simmonds; by her aunts: Helen Salvucci, Barbara Taylor, and Mary Kaplin; and by nine nieces and nephews, all of West Chester County, New York. She was predeceased by her sister Rosalie Mosca; and by her mother, Mary Docos. Funeral services were held December 16 at a Curtis-Britch Converse-Rushford Funeral Home in Newport with the Reverend Marc Aube officiating. , 74, of Belmont, New Hampshire, died suddenly in his beloved Island Pond on Friday, December 16, 2005. Mr. Langlitz was born to Louis and Marinna (Stone) Langlitz on December 12, 1931, in Unity, New Hampshire. He married his loving wife, Bura "Sally" Johnson, in October 1956. He served in the U.S. Navy during Korea. At the time of his retirement he had been the owner of his own construction company. He was a member of American Legion Island Pond Post No. 80 and a life member of the Laconia, New Hampshire, Elks Lodge. They bought their winter camp in 1998, after having been coming to Island Pond for over 20 years, to be able to come to a place to enjoy snowmobiling. He loved to go fishing with his grandson Josh Messer. He was a quiet man who enjoyed life to the fullest and made many friends. He would not hesitate to give a helping hand when needed. He is survived by his wife, Sally; by his children: Fred Jr. and his wife, Regina, of Laconia, Mark and his companion, Tricia Giguere, of Guilford, New Hampshire, Bruce and his wife, Rebecca, of Gilmanton, New Hampshire, and Wendi Paquet and her husband, Brian, of Tilton, New Hampshire; by six grandchildren; by four great-grandchildren; by his brother William of Texas; by his sister Amy Smith and her husband, Richard, of Florida; and by several nieces and nephews. , 72, of Glen Falls, New York, died suddenly December 9, 2005. Ms. Harrington was born June 6, 1933, in Derby, a daughter of Frances (Kelley) and Robert Rowell. She married Preston Harrington in July 1955. She attended the Hartford School for the Blind in Hartford, Connecticut, and was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Glen Falls. She enjoyed being around her family and many friends. She also very much enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her mother, Frances Rowell Boisvert, of Derby Green; by sisters Marilyn Taplin of Derby and Carolyn Judd and her husband, Arthur, of Morgan and Tucson, Arizona; and by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Preston Harrington; by her father, Robert Rowell; by brothers-in-law Robert Taplin and Andrew Therrien; and by nephew David Taplin. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held in Glen Falls next spring at the convenience of the family.

, 85, of Newport died Thursday, December 15, 2005, surrounded by her special Bel-Aire family. Mrs. Lague was born in Derby on January 28, 1920, the first child of Raymond E. and Julia Leavens Blake. She graduated from Derby Academy in 1938 and from Bay Path Business College in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. She began her career as a bookkeeper in 1940 working for her father at R.E. Blake, Incorporated, at Railroad Square in Newport. On April 15, 1943, she married Philip E. Lague. While raising her family, she continued working with their business, Phil's Oil Service. In 1970 they sold the family business, and she began working for Agway as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed overnight shopping trips with her daughter, especially during deer season while the men were in hunting camp. She enjoyed knitting items for family members, especially sweaters, mittens, socks, and baby sets. She loved feeding and watching the birds. She was a member of St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. In 1989 she became a member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and volunteered at the Newport Chamber of Commerce information booth. She also enjoyed getting out every day and meeting friends for coffee at McDonald's. In May 2000 she moved to Bel-Aire Quality Care Nursing Center and enjoyed many daily activities including bingo, crossword puzzles, trivia, and coffee and conversation with Marie, Ruby, Frank, and many Bel-Aire residents. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jones and her husband, Thomas, of Derby; by her brother Herbert Blake and his wife, Lorraine, of Derby; by sisters Hazel Fontaine and Mary Jean Pierce and her husband, Kenneth, of Newport; by her sisters-in-law: Mary Anne Blake of Newport, MarcelleGosselin of Newport, and Rita Keefe and her husband, Maurice, of Barre; by her brother-in-law Foster Coburn of Newport; by her uncle Reginald Leavens and wife, Doris, of Derby; by her godchildren: Albert Lague, Garry Coburn, and Lynn Graham; and by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
