Peter Paul Webster

, formerly of Utica, New York, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he had been visiting his mother. Mr. Webster was born September 23, 1957, in St. Albans, a son of Frederick Webster and Dorothy Carabine. At the time of his birth his parents had lost a son and had three daughters. What a joy it was to them to have their newborn son! He attended Lake Region Union High School, where he was a long distance runner, setting several school records. He was manager of the basketball team, and active in student council and various clubs. He was in the National Honor Society and was sent to Boys State. Faculty and fellow students alike respected him. However busy school kept him, he still had time to actively work with his father on the family farm in Coventry. After high school he attended the University of Vermont. After college he moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where he worked for several years. While living in Boston, he helped care for elderly family members. He was especially sensitive to their needs and was wonderful in providing excellent care. He decided to move back home to the family farm many years ago, where he lived until three years ago. He then moved to Utica to live with his sister Anna. While in Utica he became an honorary member of the Boiler Maker Club. It was always important to him to be with his family, as they were primary in his life. His oldest sister Paulette always made sure he had a calling card so he could stay in touch wherever he was, and she was the family "travel agent," arranging flights for him so he could visit different family members. He would come home to the farm and visit his sisters in Richmond, Virginia, as often as possible, considering Valerie the "bread and breakfast" stay. His brother Daniel has always been his best friend. The two brothers would visit every day when he lived on the farm. His special role as uncle to Scott, Bobby, Frederick, Faith, Tonya, Donald, Dianna, Sarah, Andrea, Daniel, David, Aimee, Diana, and Billy was something of which he was particularly proud. He will be missed by his father, Frederick Webster Sr., and his wife, Vivian, of Coventry; by his mother, Dorothy Carabine, of Las Vegas; by his brother Daniel Webster and his companion, Mary Maher, of Coventry; by sisters: Paulette Webster of Brunswick, Georgia, Pamela Webster of Vernal, Utah, Anna Webster and her companion, Lois Mace, of Utica, and Valerie Nuckols and her husband, John, of Richmond, Virginia, and Sharleen Webster of Richmond, Virginia. ; by his half-brother William Carabine Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Winthrop, Massachussets; by his stepsisters Deanna Bisson and her husband, Luc, and Pearl Mills and her husband, Gary; and by special family "brother" Brad Lemoine. His brother Frederick Webster Jr.; his sister Linda Webster; and his stepbrother George Mandigo predeceased him. A viewing for the family will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Brady and Levesque Funeral Home in St. Albans with burial at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in St. Albans.
