, 18 months, of St. George died Sunday July 11, 2004, at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. Kyle was born in Burlington on December 17, 2002, the son of Allen B. Pike and Heather Hudson. "Our beautiful little boy went to heaven on July 11. Not only was he God's precious gift, Kyle touched so many of his family and friend's lives. He was such a good little boy, a joy to have, and he will be missed so much," his parents said. He is survived by his parents of St. George; by his brother Wayne LaRose; by maternal grandparents, William and JoAnn Hudson of Essex; by paternal grandmother, Mary Pike, and her companion, Patrick Bedell, of Bristol; by paternal grandfather, Bruce Pike, and his wife, Wanda, of Hinesburg; by paternal great-grandparents Reginald and Hazel Dunkling of Burlington; by maternal great-grandmother Mary Jane Talbot of Barton; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services were held July 14 at Community Bible Church in South Burlington. Interment will be in Maple Cemetery in Lincoln.

, 89, of Newport Center died in Newport on Thursday, July 8, 2004. Mr. Provoncha was born in Norton on April 15, 1915, the son of Napoleon and Grace (Scott) Provoncha. He worked as a machinist at Union Butterfields and was a past member of the Border Lodge Union No. 1829 at Butterfields and the Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed reading, hunting, and fishing, and he was a past member of the Derby Fish and Game Club. He is survived by his children: Victor Provoncha and his wife, Margaret, of Newport, Robert Provoncha and his wife, Carol, of Shapleigh, Maine, Gail Howell of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Wendell Provoncha and his wife, Laura, of Newport Center; by his grandchildren: Barry, Holly, Robbie, Lisa, Heather, Matthew, Timmy, Keith, Gina, and Randy; by his great-grandchildren: Amanda, Erin, Madeline Grace, Michael, Jeremy, Christopher, Ryan, Bethany Grace, and Michell Jacob; and by his sister Lillian Sardella of Hartford, Connecticut. He was predeceased by his sons Carroll and Eugene; by an infant son, Jack; by his sister Pansy Carrerio and her husband, John; by his grandchildren: Cindy, Randy, and Kim; and by infant siblings: Lilla, Norman, and Violet. , 78, of Branford, Connecticut, and formerly of Glover, died May 1, 2004. Mrs. Yester was born at home in Glover on January 28, 1926, on the family farm to Ernest and Maria Gagnon Perron. She was second of 19 children. She was the wife of Thomas B. Yester. She is survived by her children: Thomas "Gary" Yester and his wife, Kitta Ree, of Branford, Denise Garitta and her husband, Frank, of North Branford, Connecicut; Patricia Smith and her husband, David, of Ohio, and Kathleen Costello and her companion, Kevin Copeland, of East Haven, Connecticut; by grandchildren: Christina Garitta, Thomas E.E. Yester, Jason Smith, Monique Costello, Matthew Garitta, Daniel Garitta, Jessica Smith, Kaitlyn Copeland, Justin Smith, and Michael T. Yester, who resided with his grandparents; and by great-grandchild Paul James Beisler III. She is also survived by her loving brothers and sisters: Louis Perron of Missouri, Leo and Ruth Perron of Vermont, Nelson and Jinny of Arizona, Rita and Ray Haag of Colorado, Cecile and Ernest Davignon of New Hampshire, Estelle Parmeter of Massachusetts, Eddie and Carole Perron of Vermont, Ricky and Marilyn Perron of Vermont, Martha Alexander of Vermont, Yolande and Dale Chamberlain of Vermont; and by her very special and devoted brother Walter and his wife, Deanna, of East Haven, Connecticut, without whose love and support the family could not have made it through Mrs. Yester's journey. She was predeceased by her parents; by brothers: Marcel, Alan, and Jacques Perron; by sisters: Estelle Rita, Marie, and Claire Perron and Rachel Choquette; and by many loving nieces and nephews and supportive and caring friends. Mrs. Yester had indomitable strength and courage. She was a very special person, never complaining about ills and adversity. She touched many lives with acts of kindness, tireless chatter, and endless smiles. The family said, "There are angels in Heaven and on Earth. We have one less on Earth today, but there is one more in Heaven. Our flood of tears can't drown our sorrows, but our joy is that she has gone home to the Lord whom she truly loved." A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 24, at 11 a.m., at the Conversion of St. Paul's Church in Barton. Interment will follow at Welcome O. Brown Cemetery in Barton.

, 55, of Newark died suddenly July 16, 2004, in East Charleston. Mr. Blacha was born December 16, 1948, in Hartford, Connecticut, a son of Henry and Carmel (Dedona) Blacha. On October 15, 1982, he married Nancy Esidore, who survives him. He graduated from Springfield College in Massachusetts with a bachelor of science in human services in 1991. He was an employment counselor for the state of Vermont, and he also worked during this time for the Department of Corrections. Five years prior to his current employment he was employed by Martison Industries Sheet Metal Company of Lyndonville. He had a passion for Native American culture. He also enjoyed animals, fishing, and nature. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Blacha, of Newark; by his mother, Carmel Blacha, of Fairbanks, Alaska; by children: Michelle Lucier and her husband, Ron, of New Limerick, Maine, Candy Fox and her husband, James, of Sheffield, Michael Blacha of Meriden, Connecticut, Carol Cochran of Windham, Connecticut, Connie Snipes and her husband, Melvin, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and Matthew Blacha of Meriden; by grandchildren: Ronnie, Patricia, James, Roy, Anthony, Ryan, Christopher, Alicia, Justin, Alex, Michael, Ashley, Destiny, Jackie, and by the children of Matthew Blacha; by a brother, Frank Blacha, of Fairbanks; by a sister, Holly Jedidian, of Newington, Connecticut; by several nieces and nephews; and by his beloved pets: Sinbad, Willow, Sunny, and Star. He owned and operated a dairy farm in Derby for many years. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and fishing. On May 21, 1955, he married Bessie Goulding, who survives him. He is also survived by his children: Willie Brown of Derby, James Brown and his wife, Debbie, of Derby, Barbara Waters of Derby, Mary Brown of Derby, and Candy Brown of Derby Line; by eight grandchildren; and by one great-grandchild. Beulah "Tata" Chase

, 88, of Newport died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones July 17, 2004, at Bel-Aire Quality Care Nursing Center in Newport. Ms. Chase was born on November 6, 1915, the daughter of Roland and Reta (Tupper) Chase. She was a surgical nurse for the United States Army in Guam on the front lines. She obtained the rank of first lieutenant for her valor. She also worked as a nurse at the former Broadview General Hospital and more recently as a social worker at the Department of Social Welfare, both in Newport. She was an avid horse lover, and her stallion Sir Chester Arthur was a show horse and then a stud during his post show days. She also adored and loved her cat Moe. She is survived by her nieces Patricia Stryker of Carthage, Texas, and Carole Chaffee of Sacramento, California; by two great-nieces, Jessica Desrochers and her husband, Randy, and Amber Schayltz; by a great-nephew, Seth Schayltz; by a great-great-niece, Madelyn Rachel McGee; by a close friend, Margaret Kerrigan; and by her extended family at Bel-Aire, who all loved her. She was predeceased by a sister, Rachel Chaffee; by her brother-in-law Dr. C.L. Chaffee; and by her brother Roy Chase. Graveside services were held July 21 at Hillside Cemetery in West Burke with Pastor Susan MacKay officiating. Gilbert "Red" Gilfillan

, 67, of Derby died in Newport on Thursday, July 15, 2004. Mr. Gilfillan was born in Brownington on May 9, 1937, the son of Nye J. and Marion (Moore) Gilfillan. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a machinist at Butterfields for many years. He was a member and past president of the Derby Fish and Game Club and a member of the Quarter Century Club at Union Butterfields. He conducted hunter safety courses for many years and was an avid skeet shooter. He loved bowling, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards with friends and relatives, including playing in cribbage tournaments. He also loved being with his grandchildren and enjoyed the companionship of his dog, Scamp. He loved reading Western novels. He will be missed by his friends at the Parkside Family Restaurant, McDonald's, and the Derby Mini Mart. In 1963 he married Marlene Thayer, who survives him. He is also survived by his children: John Gilfillan of Holland, Dan Gilfillan of Arizona, Sue Bernier and her husband, Mike, of Coventry, and Ron Gilfillan and his wife, Tammy, of Holland; by his father, Nye Gilfillan, of Brownington; by his grandchildren: Jordan, Crystal, Courtney, Caitlin, and Amber; by his brothers: Eric Gilfillan of Brownington, Willis Gilfillan and his wife, Betty, of Island Pond, and Raymond Gilfillan of Irasburg; by his sister Anna Curtis and her husband, Arnold, of New York; and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. , 60, of Newport died at his home on Monday, July 12, 2004. Mr. Rocheleau was born in Newport on August 30, 1943, the son of Louis G. and Arlene (Turner) Rocheleau. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School. He joined the U.S. Army, and upon his discharge, he joined the Vermont National Guard, retiring after 20 years of service. He was most recently employed at Chittenden Trust Company and the East Side Restaurant. He spent many hours enjoying the outdoors on Collins Mill Road. His greatest love was spending time on Lake Memphremagog with his fishing pole and canoe. He is survived by his mother, Arlene Rocheleau, of Newport; by his daughters Darcy Aguilar and Tara Farrant of Redding, California; by his sisters Joan McNeal and her husband, Brian, of Newport and Jane Comtois and her husband, Marcel, of Rochester, New Hampshire; by a very dear friend, Judy Cornell, of Newport Center; and by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Juanita; and by his father, Louis. At Mr. Rocheleau's request, there will be no services. , 78, of Newport died suddenly on July 13, 2004, in Newport. Mr. Snay was born March 8, 1926, in Newport a son of Joseph and Edith (Brunell) Snay. On September 17, 1947, he married Mary Dawson, who survives him. He was a World War II veteran with the U.S. Navy. He was an electrician for the University of Vermont for 30 years. He held membership with the Seventh Day Advent Church of Newport. He enjoyed operating his ham radio, collecting radios, and spending time with his family. His greatest passion was flying planes and gliders. He was also faithful to his Lord. He is survived by his wife, Mary Snay, of Newport; by the following children: Richard Snay and his wife, Darlene, of Milton, Deborah Edwards and her husband, Stephen, of Williston, Mary Money and her husband, Gary, of Banner Elk, North Carolina, Gary Snay of Cambridge, Kathy Snay of Burlington, and John Snay of Newport; by nine grandchildren: Tammy Lynn, Richard, Eric, Jennifer, Naomi, Nathan, Sarah, Ashley, and Andrew; by two great-grandchildren, George and Catherine; by a brother, Robert Snay, of Ft. , 66 of Newport, beloved wife of Ralph Tinker, died after a courageous battle with cancer on July 16, 2004, in Newport. Mrs. Tinker was born April 13, 1938, in Derby, a daughter of Viola Grow. She worked many years raising her family and on the family farm alongside her husband. Later in life she worked at the Newport City Motel where she had many friends with whom she truly loved to work. She enjoyed doing crafts and camping in Maine every year, and she truly loved her family and spending time with them. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ralph Tinker, of Newport; by her children and their spouses: Debra and Leland Young of Albany, Sandra and Larry Benware of Derby, Bernie and Betty Tinker of Derby, Brian Tinker of Kentucky, Roger and Lorraine Tinker of West Charleston, Michael Tinker of Derby Line, and Diane and Scott McAllister of Derby; by 14 grandchildren; by 16 great-grandchildren; by her loving sister and brother-in-law Betty and Walter Limlaw of Derby; by her half-sister Patricia Blouin of Bristol, Connecticut; and by several aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and her extended family from Maine. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Paul. , 77, died at the Derby Green nursing home on Sunday, July 25, 2004. Born in Walden, a daughter of Roderick and Mary (Glendenning) Barnes, Ms. Barnes spent most of her life as a teacher, giving of herself unselfishly to her family, friends, and students. Her 38-year career teaching span for the Department of Defense dependents began in Bermuda, then in Goose Bay, Labrador, and ended with her last assignment in England, where she taught sixth grade on the U.S. NATO Air Force Base at Upper Heyford in Oxfordshire. She was a born teacher, not only in the "three R's," but in the arts as well, and during the course she followed, she gained much respect, admiration and appreciation from her students, parents, administrators, and faculty. She also cherished all creatures, both great and small, and gave much love to those she tended over her lifetime with many a chuckle from the stories she had to tell. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing her will remember and miss her - a typical New Englander who was so remarkable. She was the dear sister of Justine Macdivitt of Derby and the late Roderick of California. She was the loving aunt of David and Carol Macdivitt of Newport, Pamela and Jim Galloway of Ontario, Canada, Anne Wass of Ontario, and the late Donald Macdivitt of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; and the cousin of Clifton Rock of Walden. She will be fondly remembered by great-nieces: Robyn, Leigh-Ann, and Terri; by great-nephews: David, Donald, and Michael; by great-great-nieces and nephews; and by other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 31, at the Curtis-Britch Converse-Rushford Funeral Home on Darling Hill Road in Newport at 1:30 p.m. with Deacon Rick O'Donnell officiating. of Agawam, Massachusetts, died peacefully at the home of her son in Ludlow, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, July 14, 2004. Mrs. Besaw was the daughter of the late Jake and Josephine (Robidoux) Robtoy. Her husband of 64 years, Selden J. Besaw, died in 1995. She was born in Westfield, moved to Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1945, and resided there until she moved to Agawam in 1966. Prior to moving to Massachusetts she was employed by Butterfields Tap and Die of Derby Line. She had retired from Rexnord Chain in Springfield after working there for 27 years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and the church's women's guild, and was also a member of the Agawam Senior Citizen's Chapter No. 2. She leaves a son, Donald S. Besaw, and his wife, Alice, of Ludlow; brother Howard Robtoy of Windsor Locks, Connecticut; a sister, Dora Dawson, of Agawam; two granddaughters; a great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Selden, her brother Oliver Robintaille predeceased her. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 24 in St. John the Evangelist Church in Agawam. , 54, of North Wolcott died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at his home in the loving arms of his family, following a long illness. Mr. Brown was born in Hardwick on March 11, 1950, the son of Phillip Brown of Wolcott and the late Pauline Lamare Brown. He attended school in Wolcott and started his working life at an early age of 16 as a logger. On November 29, 1968, he married Ann Annis in Craftsbury Common. Together they made their home in North Wolcott. He was a logger, hunter, and fisherman. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed his time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Besides his wife, Ann, and his father, Phil Brown, he leaves two sons and their families: Claude Brown and his wife, Kristine, and his children Phillip Austin Brown and Ashley Lynn Brown; and Robert "Robbie" Brown and his wife, Jodie, and their daughter Lydia, all of North Wolcott. He also leaves a brother, Wayne "Woody" Brown, and his wife, Gina, of North Wolcott; two sisters, Linda Willey of North Wolcott and Beverly Chaffee and her husband, Sherman, of Barre; a mother-in-law, Marjorie Annis, of Derby; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial service was held at the United Church of Craftsbury July 25 with the Reverend Nathan Strong officiating. Interment followed in Taylor Cemetery in Wolcott.

, 74, of Holland died suddenly in Newport on Wednesday, July 21, 2004. Mr. Camber was born in Newark on November 29, 1929, the son of Benjamin and Hazel (Bryant) Camber. He was a self-employed lumberjack. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at Holland Pond. He drew great comfort from his dog and constant companion, Toby, and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. He is survived by his son Robert Camber and his wife, Sara, of Holland; by his grandchildren: Chad Camber of Holland, Ashley Camber of Sutton, Brian Robinson and his wife, Lorna, of Newark, Clayton Robinson of Sutton, Melissa Roy of East Burke, R.J. , 97, of Glover died in Glover on Sunday, July 25, 2004. Mrs. Clark was born in Orleans on March 28, 1907, the daughter of Fred and Mabel (Cutler) Witt. She was a teacher at the Orleans Elementary School from 1928 to 1932 and later taught at the Glover Community School for 20 years, retiring in 1972 as principal. She was a member of the West Glover Church and a member and past matron of the Eastern Star Barton Orient Chapter No. 13. She was a 4-H leader for many years. She enjoyed craft-making and cooking. On July 30, 1932, she married Don Clark, who predeceased her in 1997. She is survived by her sons Ross Clark and his wife, Sheila, of West Glover and Bruce Clark and his wife, Leslie, of Huntington, Connecticut; by five grandchildren: Molly, Tara, Kim, Steve, and Janet; and by six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Dorothy Slicer on August 21, 1988; by one brother; and by one sister. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 29, at Westlook Cemetery in Glover at 10 a.m. with Carol Borland officiating. Interment will follow. Robert Armand Green

, 75, of Newport died at his home on Monday, July 26, 2004. Mr. Green was born in East Charleston on February 4, 1929, the son of Carroll and Flora (Hancock) Green. In school he played football, wrestled, ice-skated, bicycled, and swam. He also worked on his parents' farm. At one time he owned a Shell Station on Coventry Street then went to work as a milk factory worker at H.P. Hood for many years, retiring in 1962. He volunteered and played the accordion with other visually impaired people who played piano, tambourine, and omnicord, and sang to elderly people at local nursing homes. He was a 4-H leader in the 1970s and taught Morse code and ham radio to the Boy Scouts. He also taught Braille classes for the Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Music was a large part of his life, playing the accordion, banjo, piano, guitar, keyboard, and woodbox drum, which he made himself. He was one of the founders of the Border Amatuer Radio Club in 1978. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (known as the Mormans) and a member of the Derby Lions Club. He was very intelligent and was a very loving father and loving and caring person. On November 11, 1955, he married Ruth Thelma Storey, who predeceased him in 1990. He is survived by his daughter Harriett Hall and her husband, John, of Newport; by his grandsons Joshua Hall and Alfred Hall, both of Newport; by his sister Barbara Young of Coventry; his special friend, Louise Salls, of Hardwick; and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call at the Curtis-Britch Converse-Rushford Memorial Chapel on Lake Road in Newport on Wednesday, July 28, from 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 29, at 2:30 p.m., with Elder Dean Stevens officiating. Interment will follow at the Coventry Cemetery. of Derby, a daughter of Gerald and Irene Turgeon, died on Monday, July 19, 2004, at her home surrounded by family and dear friends, after fighting a long battle with a very rare spinal syndrome. Ms. Kress graduated from North Country Union High School in 1983. She went on to attend New Hampshire Vocational Technical School and received an associate's in culinary arts in 1984. She worked for various restaurants and hotels across the nation until she joined the United States Air Force in 1986, where she performed with the Honor Guard and Drill Team while also working as an avionics technician. She was stationed at Norton Air Force Base in California. She received an honorable discharge in 1994. She married Dale R. Kress of Brea, California, in 1989 and had three sons. She returned to catering after the Air Force term until 1997 when her illness became evident. At this time, she returned to college and graduated magna cum laude in 2001 from Champlain College with a degree in travel and tourism and a bachelor's in business. She belonged to the Travel Association of America and the Association of Bridal Consultants, and was the committee chairman for Cub Scouts of America, South Burlington Chapter, from 1998 until 2000. She is survived by her sons, Brandon Patrick Kress and Bryan Jonathan Kress of Chantilly, Virginia; by her father and stepmother, Gerald and Irene Turgeon, of Newport; by brother Gary Turgeon of St. Albans; by sister Monique Lavoie and her husband, Matt, of Pembroke, New Hampshire; by grandmother Flora Rodier of Newport; by former husband, Dale R. Kress, of Chantilly; by many aunts, uncles and cousins; and by her very dear friends: Larry and Laura Gage of Derby, Neil Geoffrey of Newport, Dana and Lisa Spates of Derby, Jamie Longley of Derby, and Larry and Pauline Gage of Newport. She was predeceased by her son Joshua Dale Kress. She is best remembered by her friends and family for her love and devotion for her sons and her determination and high achievement in whatever she pursued. She was also known to be a serious advocate for the safety of dolphins and other animals. Services were held July 24 at Curtis-Britch Converse-Rushford Funeral Home in Newport. , 83, of Derby died in Newport on Sunday, July 25, 2004. Mrs. McKinney was born in Morrisville on June 9, 1921, the daughter of Glen Archie and Winnifred (Sias) Prior. She was a self-employed child-care provider. On November 6, 1940, she married Calvin McKinney, who survives her. She is also survived by her sons Calvin McKinney Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Palm Harbor, Florida, and Robert McKinney of West Charleston; by her grandchildren: Kristen Patenaude and her husband, Jason, of Holland, Robert King McKinney of Florida, and Denis McKinney; by her brother Richard Prior of Connecticut; by her sisters Romona of Ascutney and Barbara Warren of Springfield; and by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 30, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport at 2 p.m. with the Reverend David Lisner officiating. Interment will follow.

, 99, a longtime resident of Craftsbury, died Friday, July 23, 2004, at the home of her daughter Marcelle Houde in St. Johnsbury, where she had been making her home. Mrs. Menard was born in Sabrevole, Quebec, on August 13, 1904, a daughter of Heli and Anna (Courville) Boulais. She attended school in Canada and moved to Vermont in 1919 with her family. She married Georges L. Menard on July 2, 1925, and together they farmed on West Hill in Craftsbury. He died in 1972. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Craftsbury and a member of the Altar Society. She leaves five sons: Lionel Menard and his wife, Jeannette, of Southington, Connecticut, Arthur Menard and his wife, Alice, of Craftsbury, Ivan Menard of Southington, Leo Menard and his wife, Sharleen, of Middletown, Connecticut, and Armand Menard and his wife, Mollie, of Wallingford, Connecticut; six daughters: Denise Bushy of Meriden, Connecticut, Marthe Valcour and her husband, Andre, of Morrisville, Cecile Valcour of Morrisville, Marie Yaeger and her husband, Patrick, of North Middlesex, Marcelle Houde and her husband, Raoul, of St. Johnsbury, and Therese Ferguson and her husband, John, of Palm Harbor, Florida; one brother, Cyril Boulais, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; 78 grandchildren; 113 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Rejeanne Menard, of Newington, Connecticut. She was predeceased by her husband, Georges; by two sons, Jean Menard and Guy Menard; and a brother, Gerard Boulais. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 26 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Craftsbury by her grandson the Reverend Paul Houde. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery in Hardwick. , 83, of Derby died at the Bel-Aire Quality Care Nursing Center in Newport on Friday, July 23, 2004, following a brief illness. Mrs. Squires was born in Graniteville, Quebec, on July 10, 1921, the daughter of Harold and Hazel (Gage) Rediker. On June 29, 1946, she married Lloyd Squires, who predeceased her in February 1976. She was known for her love of God and music. She played the piano, organ, harmonica, and violin, and filled in as the music director at the Advent Christian Church in Newport Center. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and family get-togethers, especially with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Ruby Peters and her husband, Bernard, of Irasburg and their children: Randy, Cindy, Trinity, Mandy, Sherry, and Bernie; by her son Richard Squires and his wife, Bea, of Ash, North Carolina, and his children: Daron, Amie, Bradley, and Rebecca; and by seven great-grandsons. She is also survived by her sisters: Beulah Purkiser of Florida, Rose Hopgood and her husband, Norman, of Ontario, and Mary Jean Kilby and her husband, John, of New Hampshire; by her brother Leslie Rediker and his wife, Alice, of Rock Island, Quebec; and by cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Reginald and Ralf; and by her sisters Evelyn Squires and Ruth Wilson. Funeral services were held July 27 at the Advent Christian Church in Newport Center with the Reverend Chris Barton officiating. Interment followed at the Newport Center Cemetery.
