, 74, of Waterbury, died April 14. Born in 1924 in Springfield, Mass., she was the daughter of Maynard and Marquita (Rounds) Dodds. Her family moved to the Boston area, where she attended schools, graduating from North Quincy High School. In 1945, she married Garfield Therrien, who died in 1993. She worked at John Hancock Insurance Co. in Boston and later Sears, Roebuck and Co. in Burlington. Most recently, she worked at Squier's Maple Products Inc. in Waterbury. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Corinne (Mrs. John) Gibson, Susan (Mrs. Kelly) Chaney and Lisa Bickford; two sons, David and Bruce; seven grandchildren; a sister.

, 92, of Berlin, died April 12. Born in 1906 in Fall River, Mass., she was the daughter of George and Rosalie (Levasseur) Ross. She was educated in Fall River schools and was employed by the Berkshire Highway Corp. In 1938, she married Armand Vezina, who died in 1970. Survivors include a daughter, Joan V. Gagnon; two grandchildren; a brother.

In 1946, he married Doris (Dezaine) Byrne. He retired from Green Mountain Sanitation Co. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Terrence and Steven; two daughters, Susan (Mrs. Scott) Chase and Julie Byrne; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

, 88, of Waterbury Center, died April 15. Born in 1911 in Waterbury, she was the daughter of Bert and Gertrude (Edwards) Johnson. She attended schools in Waterbury. She had been a waitress, worked at the former Pilgrim Plywood Company and most recently in laundry services at the Vermont State Hospital in Waterbury, retiring in 1971. In 1930, she married Alfred Hickory, who died in 1989. She was a member of the Waterbury Congregational Church. Survivors include a daughter, Ruth (Mrs. Anthony) Biebel; a son, Frank; two sisters; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She grew up in Illinois and attended Carleton University in Northfield, Minn. In 1944, she married Harry Dollenmaier. They moved to Northfield in 1990. Survivors include two sons, John and James; three daughters, Susan Dollenmaier, Martha Spoor and Mary Sinclair; a brother; 10 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

, 73, of East Hardwick, died April 12. Born in 1925 in Waterbury, he was the son of Adolph and Neva (Fisk) Keene Sr. He attended Waterbury and Stowe public schools. In 1952, he married Theresa Mary Fisk, who died in 1990. He and his brother Adolph, purchased the family potato farm in Walden, operating it until 1956. In 1957, they started the Keene Brothers Construction Co. and also owned and operated the Keene Mobile Home business in East Hardwick. Survivors include a son, Edward; four daughters, Barbara Keene, Brenda Beaupre, Jill Moscato and Pamela Harshman; 10 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In 1962, she married Raymond Massey. She was employed as a waitress at local restaurants and by Sprague Electric in Barre. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Michael, Timothy and Brian; a daughter, Donna Massey; 10 grandchildren; seven brothers; two sisters; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

, 92, formerly of Barre, died April 17. Born in 1906 in Barre, he was educated in Vermont schools. He served in the Army during WWII and had been employed by the Army Corps of Engineers. He was employed by New England Power Service Co. in Shelburne Falls, retiring in 1972. Survivors include two sons, Paul and Kelvin; a daughter, Jean Gavin; seven grandchildren; three great-grandsons. His wife, Mary A. (Donahue) Gavin, predeceased him in 1983.

, 88, of Groton, died April 22. Born in 1910 in Peacham, she was the daughter of Frank and Lizzie (McCormick) Goss. She attended elementary school in Peacham and graduated from Peacham Academy and later the Brightlook Hospital School of Nursing in St. Johnsbury. She became a registered nurse and practiced private duty nursing. In 1934, she married Gerald Morse, who predeceased her. She became affiliated with the Grafton County Nursing Home, working there until 1980. She was a member of the Groton Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Norman; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He farmed in Brookfield, Williamstown and Barre Town and had worked as a truck driver for the H.P. Welch Trucking Co. and the town of Barre, retiring in 1975. In 1933, he married Doris Martel. He was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Barre. Survivors include his wife; four sons, James Jr., Robert, Douglas and Richard; two daughters, Eleanor MacAuley and Marilyn Gamble; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.

She was employed as a home economics teacher in Waterbury and Randolph, as well as Saranac Lake and Seneca Falls, N.Y.

He was founder of Clifford of Vermont Inc., a wire and cable supplier in Bethel; past director of Oxford County Telephone Co. of Buxford, Maine, Somerset Telephone Co. in North Anson, Maine and Randolph National Bank. He had served on the school board in Bethel and was a member of the United Church in Bethel and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Sun City. Survivors include his wife, Elinor; two daughters, Ruth Franz and Bunny Huntley; a son, Theodore Jr.; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.

In 1934, he married Gertrude Fairbrother, who died in 1986. He cut lumber for Mark Perkins in Strafford and also was a logger. He later worked at the Vermont copper mines in South Strafford. He also operated a small farm and was a carpenter and worked in the building and grounds department for Dartmouth College. He retired in 1972. He was one of the founders of the Strafford Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include two sons, Philip and Melvin; three daughters, Shirley Hannah, Marvel Hauger and Cynthia Riordan; one sister; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
