, 87, of Barre, died March 31. Born in 1911 in Jersey City, N.J., she was the daughter of Anthony and Helen Glowczynski. She attended and graduated schools in Jersey City. In 1930, she married Charles Kohn, who died in 1972. She was a telephone operator with New York Telephone, retiring in 1968. She returned to Barre in 1998, and made her home with her daughter, Dolores Fair. Survivors include three daughters, Dolores Fair, Lorraine Lynch and Charlotte Donno; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

, 53, of Randolph Center, died April 1. Born in 1945 in Owatonna, Minn., he was the son of William and Dorothy Lambert. He was raised and schooled in Minnesota and attended Stockbridge Agricultural School and Amherst University. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was married to Bette Silloway and moved to Randolph Center in 1983. He was a dairy farmer and a member of the Green Mountain Gospel Chapel in Randolph. Survivors include his wife; his mother; three sons, Paul, Daniel and David; five daughters, Marilyn, Rebecca, Laura, Jennifer and Aimee; one brother; three sisters.

, 39, formerly of Randolph, died March 30. Born in 1959 in Randolph, he was the son of Gilbert and Shirley (Haggett) Maxwell. He attended schools in Hancock and graduated from Randolph Vocational School. He was a farmer, worked at his father's sawmill and worked for Granville Manufacturing. For the past few years he was a painter for Everett Bettis of Hancock. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Gilbert and Rebecca Maxwell; his mother; a sister, Karen Arnold; a brother, Steven Maxwell; two nieces and two nephews.

, 88, of Websterville, died March 30. Born in 1910 in Barre, he was the son of Charles and Ella (Halligan) Tacy. He attended Websterville schools. In 1937, he married Jessie Stott. He served in Navy during WWII and worked for Wells-Lamson Corp., retiring in 1975. He was a member of St. Sylvester Church in Graniteville. Survivors include his wife; three cousins; nieces and nephews.

In 1937, she married Kenneth Griffith Sr., who died in 1984. She had been employed at Demeritt Manufacturing Co. and Crossroads Store, both in Waterbury. More recently she worked in the cafeteria at Harwood Union High School and operated a bakery from her home. She was a member of Waterbury Congregational Church. Survivors include her mother; three daughters, Romona Byers, Lorna Grimes and Penny Williams; two sons, Kenneth Jr. and Rodney; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters; nieces and nephews.

She attended schools in Waterford and graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy and Lyndon Teachers Training School. In 1920, she married Carl Batchelder, who died in 1952. She had lived in Cabot, Barton, St. Johnsbury and Montpelier and was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Montpelier. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Vercoe and Phyllis Gale; a daughter-in-law, Eleanor Batchelder; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

She attended schools in Alerton, Ill. and lived in Wallingford, Conn. before moving to Duxbury in 1976. She worked as a waitress, was employed at The Bridges in Warren and more recently at Green Mountain Chocolates in Waterbury. Survivors include three sons, Rick, Chris and Donald; 10 grandchildren; two sisters; nieces and nephews.

In 1929, he married Clara Chase, who predeceased him. He worked on several farms and began working at Savage's Mill in 1949. He later worked at Ethan Allen. Survivors include two sons, Gordon and Bernie; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

In 1950, he married Ruth Millington, they divorced in 1978. In 1983, he married Jane Page. He had been a pilot for Middlebury College and was a flight examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration. He also owned and operated Glen Real Estate in Calais. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Ruth, Mary Ellen, Elizabeth (Mrs. Jim) Diette and Joanne (Mrs. Bob) Gifford; three sons, Robert, John and William; a sister; his former wife; 13 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Michelle Cutler and April Despault; a sister, Phyllis Martin.

In 1935, she married Arthur Badeau, who died in 1971. In 1963, she married Frank Reynolds, who died in 1973. She worked at Vermont Plastics in Montpelier and as a pastry cook at the Wayside Restaurant. She retired from Sprague Electric in 1983. She was a member of St. Monica Church. He attended North Haverhill schools and in 1938, married Clara Mae Waterhouse. He was a farmer, logger and more recently partner with his son, James in Keith and Keith Plumbing of Waitsfield. He served as a selectman for Waitsfield, a member of the zoning board of adjustment and a lister. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Helen Pinder and Shirley Keith; three sons, James, John and Donald; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

, 92, of Chelsea, died April 11. Born in 1907 in Chelsea, he was the son of Eugene and Alice (Drudge) Kennedy. He attended Chelsea schools and served with the Army during WWII. He worked on construction and in his father's garage. Later he was service manager at Walter Kennedy Chrysler Plymouth dealership in Chelsea, retiring in 1971. He was first married to Edith Mulleneaux, then to Erica Strelau. In 1945, he married Vera Hill and in 1957, he married Cecelia (West) Mathers. She died in 1996. They helped raise a niece, Jean Kennedy Bernier. He had been selectman for the town of Chelsea and a member of the Chelsea Fire Department. Survivors include two stepsons, Richard Lyon and Lawrence Lyon; three step-daughters, Donna Melvin, Martha Lyon and Joanne Hodge; two brothers; nieces and nephews.
