He worked as an automobile mechanic at H.G. Bennett Co. and later at Rossi Buick-Olds. He was co-owner of B&B Service Center and Green Valley Produce Co. in Plainfield. In 1949, he married Theresa Habbep, they were divorced. Survivors include his companion, Virginia Barnett; a daughter, Elizabeth Berini; a sister; nieces, nephews and cousins.

He worked as a lumper and boxer at Beck and Beck Granite Co. and at North Barre Granite Co., retiring in 1984. He served in the Army during WWII. In 1943, he married Lorraine Ricciarella. He was a member of St. Monica Church. Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Francis and John; three sisters, Lucille Hyland, Germaine Eaton and Blandine Hafela; nieces and nephews.

, 73, formerly of Groton, died March 19. Born in 1924 in Groton, he was the son of Horace Leroy and Carrie (Smith) James. He attended Groton High School. He and his father owned and operated the Farm Machine Exchange in Ryegate for many years. He later became manager of the Automobile Legal Association for central Massachusetts, retiring and living in East Brookfield, Mass. and West Palm Beach, FL. He had been a member of Groton Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Pauline Fitch James; two sons, Bruce and Brian; one daughter, Corinne Curcioone; one sister; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

In 1935, he married Esther Pike, who died in 1978. In 1979, he married Joyce (Sprague) Lowe. He was a self-employed master carpenter, retiring in 1980. In 1946, he married Mary Hatch. He worked as an alignment specialist at Lowell McLeod's Inc. in Barre and was also head mechanic for the United Parcel Service before establishing his own business. She received her early education in Randolph and graduated from South Lancaster Academy in Mass. She received her nurses training in Melrose, Mass. She was a registered nurse at the Lawrence, Mass. Memorial Hospital and later at Central Vermont Hospital, retiring in 1984. In 1984, she married David Emery. She was affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Berlin. Survivors include her husband; three stepsons, Jon Emery, Jeff Emery and David Jr.; four grandchildren; a brother; a sister; nieces and nephews.

In 1978, she married John Brunelle, they also divorced. She retired in 1991 from the State of Vermont, Finance Department. She attended the United Methodist Church.
