, 87, of Barre, died Nov. 26. He was born in 1911 in Middlebury and received his education in Middlebury. After graduation he was employed by Charles Miller & Son, Co. in St. Johnsbury. He came to Barre as a partner and manager of Warner Turner Supply Co., retiring in 1978. He had served in WWII in the Army. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Barre. Survivors include his wife, ClaraBelle Neff Turner who he married in 1933; a sister, Marion Keeler; a brother, Lloyd Turner; grandchildren Roy C. Turner, Andrew W. Turner and Regina T. Hodziewich; many great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.

, 92, formerly of Waterbury, died Nov. 28. Born in 1905 in Waterbury, she was the daughter of Horace and Bertha (Demas) White. She attended schools in West Corinth, where the family moved to in 1912. She worked in the telephone company office in West Corinth. In 1925, she married Dan Moore. In 1946, she married Robert Judd, who died in 1990. She was a member of Bradford Grace United Methodist Church. Survivors include two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

, 83, formerly of Chelsea, died Nov. 28. Born in 1915 in Chelsea, she was the daughter of Julian and Jennie (Searl) Slack. She attended schools in Chelsea and graduated from Chelsea High School. She graduated from Gifford Hospital School of Nursing in 1937. In 1940, she married Alton Scribner, who died in 1988. She was a registered nurse at Gifford Memorial Hospital in Randolph, retiring in 1950. She and her husband had owned and operated the Music Shop in Randolph, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ in Randolph. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Bedell and Kendra Grant; two grandsons; a great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

, 75, of Montpelier, died Nov. 26. Born in 1923 in Barre, she was the daughter of Edward and Jennie (Watson) Pierce. She attended Trow Hill Elementary School and graduated from Spaulding High School. She had worked for the Granite Mutual Insurance Co., the Granite Savings Bank and later in the Vermont State Treasurer's office, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Barre and also a member of Christ Church in Montpelier. Survivors include a brother, Lawrence E. Pierce; an uncle, Lawrence L. Pierce; numerous cousins.

He worked for the Demeritt Co. in Waterbury and later at the Davison Furniture Co. in Waterbury. He retired from employment as custodian at Waterbury Elementary School. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Waterbury. Survivors include a sister, Mary H. Martin; a brother, Donald Morse; nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Hanover High School and attended the University of New Hampshire at Durham. In 1955, he married Frances L. Keating. They had lived in Corinth for 33 years, moving to Williamstown in March. He was head surveyor for Drury Surveyors in Hanover and in 1961, joined the Vermont State Agency of Transportation, retiring in 1995. He was a member of East Corinth Congregational Church. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Boynton Jr., Craig and Scott; a daughter, Lynn (Saia) Putney; three brothers; a sister; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Marshfield High School and Burlington Business College. She worked for many years as an executive secretary for the state of Vermont. Her husband, Maurice Sicely, died in 1985. Survivors include a daughter, Jane (Mrs. Gerry) Parker; a grandson, Seth Parker; four nieces.

In 1938, she married Hale Flint, who died in 1989. She was employed by the Randolph Furniture Co., Savages Mill, Fritzel Toys, the Van Raalte Co. She retired in 1970 from Waterbury Companies. Survivors include a son, Dalton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

He had worked for the railroad in Vermont, a gas station in Windsor, as a cook in Fairlee and Ludlow, at S&M Amusements and R&R Getty Station in Williamstown. He retired due to ill health. He was co-owner of the Pearl Street Body Shop in Barre and more recently he worked for C.L. Lunt Appraisers until his retirement. Survivors include his wife; five sons, James, Thomas, Robert, Mark and Michael; two daughters, Julie Massaro and Joan Stefaniak; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

, 90, of Barre, died Dec. 10. Born in 1908 in Barre, he was the son of Basilio and Maria (Pinafetti) Dente. He attended Barre schools and graduated from Spaulding High School. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign with a BA in Education. He was educational advisor to the Civilian Conservation Corps Program for three and in 1935, joined his father at Dente's Market in Barre. He owned and operated the market until 1973, when he sold it to his son Richard. He retired in 1983. In 1940, he married Clara Farr. He was a member of St. Monica's Church. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Thomas, James Jr., Richard and Stephen; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother; a niece and a nephew.

, 83, of East Randolph, died Dec. 9. Born in 1915 in West Medway, Mass., he was the son of Albert and Mary (Merriem) Munyon. He attended Medway schools and trade school. In 1939, he married Carmella DelSignore, who died in 1970. He was an auto mechanic for 45 years, retiring in 1975. Survivors include two sons, Emery Jr. and David; two daughters, Carol Ann Little and Patricia Munyon; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a very close friend.
