, 87, of Barre, died June 5. Born in 1910 in Orange, she was the daughter of Clyde Victor Rogers and Elizabeth (Watson) Rogers. She attended elementary school in Orange and graduated from Spaulding High School. She attended the Yale School of Nursing in Connecticut and graduated from New Hampshire Hospital School of Nursing. In 1934, she married Alfred Higgs, who died in 1987. She had worked in nursing until her marriage. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Beth Evaline Bragg; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters; several nieces and nephews.

, 69, of Washington, died June 4. Born in 1928, he was the son of Pedro and Eulalia (Barcena) Bedia. He graduated from Spaulding High School and attended the Air Force Flight School. He operated a farm in Washington and served as part-time Orange County Deputy Sheriff. In 1959, he married Jane Melvin. Survivors include his wife; their children Matthew and Melinda.

, 80, of Bethel, died June 4. Born in 1918 in Danbury, Conn., he was the son of Henry and Margaret (Hancock) Brown. He received his early education in Danbury and graduated from Danbury High School. He had owned and operated a farm in Brookfield, Conn. He moved to Bethel in 1994, making his home with his nephew. He was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Bethel. Survivors include his nephew, Michael Donnelly.

Born in 1930 in Hartford, Conn., he was the son of Alton Maynard and Catherine (Eldred) Wright He attended Walden public schools and worked on the family farm until entering the Army National Guard. In 1955, he married Marilyn Fay Stone. He had worked for the Continental Wiring Co. in Wallingford, Ct. and more recently at a metal foundry in North Haven, Ct. He retired in 1983 and returned to Vermont. He had lived in Cabot before moving to Randolph. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael and David; two brothers; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

, 51, of East Calais, died June 10. Born in 1947 in Williamstown, she was the daughter of Ralph and Cecile (Trombly) Dunham. She attended Orange Center Elementary School and Spaulding High School. She was employed as a waitress at Green Mountain Diner and Gil's Diner in Barre and later as a cashier at the Country Store on the Barre-Montpelier Road. In 1967, she married Robert Buzzell. In 1969, she married Merton Huntley, who predeceased her. Since 1973, she and companion Walter Spaulding had lived in Newport. Survivors include two daughters, Connie Lee Foran and Colleen Huntley; three brothers; a half-brother; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

, 73, of Barre, died June 7. Born in 1924 in Barre, he was the son of Joseph and Rose (DeCoteau) Lafreniere. He attended school in East Barre and Spaulding High School. He was a veteran of WWII and had owned and operated Summer Street Grocery. He later was employed by Dowling Inc. of St. Albans, retiring in 1984. In 1951, he married Theresa Boisvert, who died in 1994. He was a member of St. Monica Parish. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Booth; three sons, Steven, David and Michael; eight grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; nieces and nephews.

She attended Barre City schools and graduated from Spaulding High School and Boston University. She was employed by the Rock of Ages Corp. In 1936, she married Thomas J. Brown. They lived in Barre before moving to Burlington, where they owned and operated Motel Brown until 1985. Survivors include two daughters, Veronica Schumacher and Marion Hand; two grandchildren.

, 79, of Barre, died June 9. Born in 1918 in Barre, she was the daughter of Daniel and Antoninette (Righini) Ricciarelli. She attended Barre City schools and was a graduate of Spaulding High School. In 1943, she married Gerard Beaulieu, who died March 17. She was employed as a secretary at Barre Chamber of Commerce and later at Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce. The Beaulieus had staffed the tourist information booth in Barre for many years. She was a member of St. Monica Parish. Survivors include six cousins, Wayne Calderara, Dorothy Giudici, Phyllis Finnie, Lorraine Mosillo, Paul Reghini and Rose McAllister.

, 81, of Barre, died June 9. Born in 1917 in Barre, he was the son of Samuel and Martha (Wilson) Sinclair. He attended Barre schools and graduated from Spaulding High School. He served in the Army during WWII. In 1952, he married Carolyn B. Merrill. He was an instrumental music teacher at schools in the central Vermont area and repaired instruments for many years. Most recently he was music teacher at Barre Town Elementary School, and director of the Barre Town Elementary School and Montpelier City bands. He was a member of Barre Congregational Church and affiliated with the Venice United Church of Christ in Venice, Fla. Survivors include his wife; a son, Douglas; two daughters, Martha McFarland and Karen Sinclair; five grandchildren.

She graduated from Spaulding High School and was employed in earlier years as a dental assistant. In 1930, she married E. Conrad Sellberg, who died in 1967. She was a member of St. Monica Parish. Survivors include a sister, Loria Patterson; a niece and a nephew.

He graduated from Spaulding High School and served in the Merchant Marines. He worked in Waldron Shields in Barre and later in Springfield at Fellows Gear Shaper. He moved to Mass. in 1942, where he was employed as a designer before moving to Glens Falls where he worked for General Electric and Kamyr & Kamyr-Neles. He retired in 1982. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Glens Falls. Survivors include his wife, Angeline Puricelli; a daughter, Lois Hartranft; a son, Robert; three grandsons.

He graduated from Montpelier High School and worked for the Civil Conservation Corps in St. Albans as a young man. He was a stone cutter for 35 years and later a foreman in the granite industry. He retired in 1979. In 1941, he married Margaret Kellet, who died in 1993. They moved to Barre in 1956. He was a member of St. Monica Church. Survivors include five sons, James, Michael, Peter, John and Alan; four daughters, Judy DeVries, Mary Lou Richardson, Shonnie Forran and Dianne Richardson; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

She was head nurse at Barre City Hospital and a nursing supervisors at Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin. She was a member of St. Monica Church. Survivors include her companion, Angelo Naboni; a brother, Romeo Sironi; her twin, Carrie Bizzozero; nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Tantasqua High School in Sturbridge, Mass., earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in education, both from the University of Mass., Amherst. He served with the Coast Guard. In 1969, he married Christine A. McAllan. He was guidance teacher at U-32 High School and at Randolph Area Vocational Center. More recently he had been guidance director at Lamoille Area Vocational Center in Hyde Park. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Andrea Terry; a son, Michael Terry; his parents; three sisters; one brother; nieces and nephews.
