, 77, of Washington, died Dec. 9. Born in 1921 in East Calais, he was the son of Delbert and Edith (Trombly) Ibey. He attended school in East Calais. In 1946, he married Evelyn St. John. He served in the Army during WWII. He worked as a polisher at Desilets Granite Co. and operated Ibey's TV Center in Washington. For the past 32 years, he had owned and operated Olympic Granite Co. in East Barre. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert and Steve; five brothers; three sisters;; two granddaughters; nieces and nephews.
Girouard, Rita M.

, 78, of Williamstown, died Dec. 8. Born in 1920 in Northbridge, Mass., she was the daughter of Hormidas and Florida (Blanchette) Bousquet. In 1939, she married Albert Girouard, who died in 1996. She began working as a licensed practical nurse at the Grafton and Westboro State Hospital, retiring in 1974. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Ventura, Calif and St. Edward's Church in Williamstown. Survivors include three daughters, Janice Girouard, Gloria Fleming and Helen Sutton; two sons, Richard and Donald; five sisters; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

, Sr., 66, of Waterbury Center, died Dec. 10. Born in 1932 in Duxbury, he was the son of Clarence and Dorothy (Collins) Lamson Sr. He attended schools in Richmond and served in the Army during the Korean War. In 1954, he married Leona Fuller. He retired in June after 27 years employment with Construction Corp. of Stowe. He also operated a farm in Waterbury Center. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Lisa (Mrs. David) Jennison, Lori (Mrs. Randy Sr.) Fisk and Lynn (Mrs. Don) Commo; three sons, Stanley Jr. , Steve and Scott; 15 grandchildren; four sisters; six brothers; nieces and nephews.

, 86, formerly of Waitsfield, died Dec. 9. Born in 1912 in Waitsfield, she was the daughter of Charles and May (Boyce) Folsom. She graduated from Waitsfield High School. In 1931, she married Cuthbert Straw, who died in 1969. She was a homemaker. Survivors include four daughters, Aura Daye, Judy Wyman, Ethel Goodyear and Kathryn Yessin; a son, Dennis; two brothers; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.

, 60, of Waitsfield, died Dec. 5. Born in 1937 in Colchester, he was the son of Floyd and Florence (Downs) Lanphear. He attended schools in Underhill. He was formerly married to Norma Pike, whom he married in 1958. He had worked at a heavy equipment operator, a logger and for the town of Waitsfield in road construction and maintenance. He founded the Royce Lanphear House Moving Co., which he operated until 1990, when he turned the business over to his son. Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Lanphear; a son, Roger; three sisters; a brother; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
McIntosh, Kenneth F.

, 75, formerly of Montpelier, died Dec. 5. Born in 1923 in Montpelier, he was the son of Kenneth and Frances (Gitchell) McIntosh. He attended schools in Montpelier, graduating from Montpelier High School and attended Springfield College and Vermont College. He served in the Navy during WWII. Survivors include three children, Joanne McIntosh, Michael McIntosh and Nancy Chartrand; six grandchildren.

, 45, of Stowe, died Dec. 14. Born in 1953 he was the son of Joseph Sullivan and Helen Mary (Eddington) Sullivan. He graduated from West Hempstead High School (N.Y.) and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He attended Nassau Community College's Operating Room Technology Program and was later employed by Nassau County Medical Supply in Nassau County, N.Y. He moved to Stowe in 1985, where he co-owned and operated Sullivan Transportation. He was later employed by Vermont Transit Lines and worked for Bourne's Inc. in Waterbury and Morrisville at the time of his death. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Stowe. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann (Scuderi) Sullivan; a son, Joseph Jr.; a daughter, Kimberly Sullivan; his mother; two brothers; three nieces and a nephew.

, 80, of South Royalton, died Dec. 11. Born in 1918 in Stony Point, N.Y., she was the daughter of Andrew and Carrie (June) Conklin. She attended Stony Point schools. In 1939, she married Bertram Hoyt, who died in 1988. Mrs. Hoyt moved to South Royalton in 1990. Prior to that she was kitchen manager of the Gilmore Sloan House in Stony Point. Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Ballou and Linda Arroyo; a sister; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

, 63, of Bethel, died Dec. 11. Born in 1935 in Bethel, she was the daughter of Vernor S. and Margaret (Wallace) Pratt. She graduated from Whitcomb High School in Bethel. In 1953, she married David Eddy Sr. They owned and operated the Wallace Farm in Bethel and she worked at Stanley Tool in Pittsfield. She was a member of the Miller Memorial United Methodist Church in Bethel. Survivors include three children, David Jr., Susan Pray and Wallace Eddy; a brother; three grandchildren; three nephews; an uncle and cousins.

, 90, of East Hardwick, died Dec. 12. Born in 1908 in St. Albans, he was the son of Samuel and Margaret (McLeod) McFeeters. He attended Sheldon public schools and graduated from Burlington Business College. In 1946, he married Gladys Bowles, who died in 1983. He owned and operated McFeeters General Store in East Hardwick for more than 48 years. He had served in the Army during WWII. He was affiliated with the East Hardwick Congregational Church. Survivors include an uncle, Robert McLeod; three nephews and two nieces.

She was a homemaker and was also employed at the Crossroads Store in Waterbury and at Boudreau Nursing Home. Survivors include a daughter, Gloria Santamore; a son, Stanley Richardson; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
