She was employed for many years at Whelan Drug Store in Barre and later at the Wayside Restaurant. She was a member of St. Monica Church. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Ernestine Genine; a sister; a half-sister; nieces and nephews.

, 82, of Barre, died June 17. Born in 1915 in Barnston, Quebec, he was the son of Paul and Marie-Louise (Boivin) Moreau. He attended schools in Barnston. In 1939, he married Cecile Pamela Houle. They moved to Barre in 1954. He was employed at Modern Granite Co. and later established a house painting business, retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Monica Church. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Louise Anair; four sons, Roger, Gilles, Michael and Robert; eight grandchildren; two sisters.

Born in 1972 in Hollywood, CA, he was the son of Wayne and Margie (Sekera) Lacey Sr. He moved to Vermont as a teenager and graduated from Northfield High School and Randolph Vocational Center. He was employed by Mad River Canoe Co. in Waitsfield. Survivors include his mother; his father and stepmother, Wayne and Sandy Lacey; a sister, Jennifer Arbo; maternal grandparents; paternal grandparents; a niece, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.

, 70, of Bethel, died June 18. Born in 1927 in Yonkers, N.Y., he was the son of Joseph and Katherine (Rapoli) Brown. He was educated at the Ramsey Military Academy in Birmingham, AL, Hastings-On-Hudson High School in N.Y. and Goddard College in Plainfield. He earned a BS in behavioral science and a masters in psychology. He served with the Army during WWII and with the Air Force during the Korean conflict. In 1957, he married Joan Jensen. In 1968, he moved his family to East Hardwick where he purchased a farm and established an adoption program with the Vermont Childrens Aid Society and a teen center. He moved to Maine in the 70s, where he worked in rehabilitation at the Kennebunk High School and the Sea Coast Mental Health Agency in Portsmouth, N.H. He also operated and antique business and a mother, both in Ogunquit, Maine. More recently he wintered in Kissimmee, Fla. and summer with his daughter's family in Bethel. Survivors include his wife; his mother; two daughters, Leslie Sennett and Sandra Danque; a brother; six grandchildren.

In 1955, she married Everett Sartelle, who died in 1976. She was employed at M.H. Fishman's Department Store and at Sprague Electric Co. Survivors include a niece, Raella Bueno; a nephew, John Buzzell; great-nieces and great-nephews.

He graduated from Danville High School and received a bachelor's degree in agriculture from the University of Vermont. He worked for the New Hampshire-Vermont Breeder's Association and later was a social worker for the New Hampshire Department of Social Welfare. He retired at age 70. His wife, Lou E. Dunbar, died in 1967. Survivors include a daughter, Luvia Webster; a stepson, Merle Jones Sr.; two brothers; a sister; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Northfield High School and attended the Mary Hitchcock School of Nursing. In 1951, she married George W. Hatch, who died in 1993. She worked at the Norwich University Infirmary, retiring in January. She also owned and operated Hatch Berry Patch. She was a member of the Little White Church in So. Northfield. Survivors include four sons, Jerome, Jeffrey, Jonathan and George Jr.; three brothers; two sisters; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Born in 1952 in Barre, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Eva (Shepard) Brown Sr. She attended schools in Williamstown and graduated from Barre Vocational Training Center in the monumental drafting program. In 1979, she married Douglas Farnham. She had worked as an artistic draftsman in monumental drafting and owned and operated the New Discovery Custom Memorials in Marshfield. Survivors include her husband; her mother; three sons, Christopher, Patrick and Douglas; one daughter, Tammy; four grandchildren; two brothers; five half-brothers; two sisters; a half-sister; nieces and nephews.

She had been a chef at Mario's Restaurant in Barre and a caterer and chef at Barre Country Club. Survivors include two sons, Tim and Michael; two daughters, Mary Ann Miller and Patricia Erb; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

She was employed by the federal government and later at Chittenden Trust Co. She retired in 1973. She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ. He graduated from Randolph High School and received a bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass. He earned a master's degree from MIT and a degree of professional engineer in civil engineering from both MIT and Sloan School of Business Management. In 1953, he married Nancy Angell. He had been employed at MIT, Glace and Glace of Harrisburg, Pa., Metcalf and Eddy of Boston, Ma., and Tippetts, Abbott, McCarthy and Stratton of New York City. He founded the local engineering firm of DuBois and King in 1961, selling the firm in 1986 when he retired. He was a member of St. John's Church (Episcopal). Survivors include his wife; his mother; a daughter, Jane DeCarlos; three sons, William, Benjamin and Peter; three grandchildren.

She attended a school in central Vermont and also attended Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, N.H. She worked at Goodyear Tire in Windsor and at a plastic factory in Lempster, N.H. She later worked as a nurse's aide at several nursing homes in New Hampshire. She had been married to Edward Loura and in 1965, married Gerald Blood Jr., who died in 1988. She married Durwood Doucette in 1990, who died in 1993. She was a member of West Hill Independent Gospel Church in Chelsea. Survivors include two daughters, Nora Loura-Lewis and Carline Payne; two sisters; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

, 76, of Barre Town, died June 21. Born in 1921 in Berlin, Mass., she attended high school in Agawam, Mass. She and her husband, Walter Deane Mosher, lived in West Springfield, Mass. for 43 years. Mr. Mosher died in 1984. Mrs. Mosher moved to Barre Town in 1994. She had worked for Springfield newspapers. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Nancy Mosher; two granddaughters, Katherine and Merideth.

She received her education in St. Michael's Grade School in Montpelier and graduated from Mount St. Mary High School in Burlington. She entered the Sisters of Mercy of Vermont in 1929 and professed her vows in 1932. She taught primary grades at Cathedral School and Mount St. Mary School in Barre. Survivors include her sisters in religion; a brother, Leslie Billings; several nieces and nephews.

He graduated from South High School in Worcester and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He received his master's degree from Toledo University in Ohio and earned a doctorate in economics from Syracuse University in N.Y. He served in the Army during WWII. In 1948, he married Lois Merrix. He was a professor of economics for most of his life. He taught at Goddard College in Plainfield before retiring. Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Shirley Carroll and Arlene Winter; three nephews.
