, 66, of Northfield, died Dec. 24. Born in 1931 in Barre, she was the daughter of Primo and Alphonsa (Zambelli) Domenichelli. She graduated from Spaulding High School. She had been married to Richard Stone. In 1980, she bought the Red Kettle Restaurant, which she operated until 1997. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Northfield. Survivors include three sons, Richard Jr., Mark and Scott; five daughters, Ella Marie Stone, Gretchen Stone, Brenda Dole, Cindy (Mrs. Jim) Willis and Rhoda Stone; two brothers; a sister; seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

, 59, of Greensboro, died Dec. 19. Born in 1938 in Lowell, Mass., he was the son of Howard and Ruth (Coolbeth) Salls. He attended schools in Greensboro and served in the Army. He was married tom Donna Rae Blondin. He was a carpenter for Russ Hislop, retiring in July, 1997, due to ill health. Survivors include his parents; a son, Edward; two daughters, Kim Salls and Karen Nannery; five grandchildren; two sisters; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

, 85, of Waterbury, died Dec. 24. Born in 1912 in West Burke, she was the daughter of William Gallagher and Lucina (Damon) Gallagher-Patton. She attended schools in West Burke and Montpelier Seminary. In 1992, she married Edwin Van Henderson, who died in 1960. She had worked as a secretary at Radio Vermont WDEV and operated Eddie's Restaurant in Waterbury until 1975. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Waterbury. Survivors include a brother, Justin Gallagher; three nieces and a nephew.

, Sr., 74, of Royalton, died Dec. 19. Born in 1923 in Norwich, he was the son of Charles and Orlena (Johnson) Swasey. He received his early education in Norwich and graduated from Hanover (N.H.) High School. He served in the Army during WWII. He had been employed as a mechanic by the Vermont Agency of Transportation, retiring in 1984. Survivors include five sons, Carl Jr. , Charles, Jerold, Jeffrey and Timothy; a daughter, Sister Susan Swasey; two brothers; two sisters; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandson; nieces and nephews.

Born in 1922 in Montclair, N.J., he was the son of John and Isabelle (Munoz) Foster Sr. He attended Montclair Academy and Dartmouth College and served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He moved to Vermont in the early 1970s and operated an inn in Stowe. In 1983, he married Joan Nuceder. He had lived in Waterbury and settled in Warren. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kristy Foster; two sons, Mark and Gregg; a step-daughter, Tara Dawn Back; six grandchildren; a brother.

She was educated in Middlebury Center and Mountain Home (Pa.) schools and graduated from Stanford Hospital School of Nursing in Stanford, Conn. She served in the Army Nurse Corps during WWII. In 1946, she married Raymond Cary, who died in 1968. In 1970, she married George Cameron, who died in 1980. She had been a registered nurse and had operated the Lock City Oil Co. in Stanford, Conn. She came to Montpelier in 1982. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Toolan; a brother; a sister; three grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

He had been employed as a line foreman by Granite state Electric of Lebanon, N.H., retiring in 1982. He was a communicant of St. Norbert's Church in Hardwick. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Redding Plastic Co. in Montpelier. She retired in 1968. In 1977, she married Edgar Murphy, who died in 1983. , 84, formerly of Waterbury, died Dec. 1. He was born in 1913 in Cambridge. In 1938, he married Madeline Spaulding, who died in 1984. In 1985, he married Pauline Taplin. He worked in all phases of broadcast engineering and was chief engineer at WDEV radio station in Waterbury for 18 years. He was a member of the Waterbury Congregational Church. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jack, Gary and Jerry.

She attended Barre schools and Spaulding High School and pursued a career in art at the Boston School of Fine Arts. In 1933, she married Judson Acker, they later divorced. She was a founder of the Paletteers and helped found the Barre Players. She was a member of St. Monica Church. Survivors include a son, Christopher; a daughter, Phyllis Andrews; three brothers; two sisters; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was employed at Granite City Creamery and later at Beaconway Fabrics, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
