, 87, of Northfield Falls, died July 22. Born in 1911 in Graniteville, she was the daughter of Alfred and Lulu Belle (Ricker) Jenkins. She graduated from Spaulding High School and from the Barre City Hospital School of Nursing. She had worked as a registered nurse at the Barre City Hospital and was a private duty nurse for many years, retiring in 1974. In 1939, she married Roland Lathrop, who died 1974. Survivors include a daughter, Carole Renner; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law Charlene Lathrop; nieces and nephews.

He attended Barre Town Elementary School and graduated from Spaulding High School. He also graduated from the Art Institute of Boston and had been employed as an illustrator and graphic artist in the advertising field in Boston. More recently he had been a free lance illustrator from his home. Survivors include his parents; a sister, Lori Canas; a niece; maternal grandmother; paternal grandmother; an uncle; an aunt; cousins.

, 97, of Northfield, died July 20. Born in 1901 in Northfield, he was the son of Wallace and Lizzie (Holden) Plastridge. He grew up on the family farm and attended Northfield schools. In the 1920s, he married Edna Phillips, who died in the early 1940s. In 1945, he married Dorothy Kendall Holmes, who died in 1972. In 1974, he married Marion Ellicott, who died in 1988. He served in the Army during WWII. He operated the family's ice business, worked for Central Vermont Railroad and later became an insurance agent for Prudential Life Insurance Co. After WWII, he worked in the stone sheds in Northfield and later was a salesman for Capital Candy Co. Survivors include six step-children, Nancy Hebert, Lois Hebert, Dorothy Haggan, Lucie Bridges, Ruth Caton and Charles Ellicott; a nephew.

He began working at the Wells Lamson Quarry in 1930, retiring in 1975. In 1933, he married Mildred Donahue. He was a former member of St. Sylvester church and a member of St. Monica Church in Barre. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a member of the Woodbury United Methodist Church and a former member of the Woodbury Fire Department. In 1946, he married Dena Davison. The family moved to Barre, where he attended school and graduated from Spaulding High School. He served in the Navy and was a park ranger for the Forestry Service of Vermont. He later became a tradesman in shipbuilding and home and barn building and also an electrician and plumber. He also worked as a bus driver for Vermont Transit. Survivors include two daughters, Carrie O'Hare and Sharon Carrier; one son, Lawrence O'Hare; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother; a sister; six nieces and nephews.

In 1984, he married Nancy Gagne. He was employed as a sandblaster by North Barre Granite Co. and had worked at Twin City Sandblast until he retired due to ill health. Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He graduated from Spaulding High School and later from the National Youth Administration Radio Technician School. In 1943, he became an apprentice machinist at his family's business, the Granite City Tool Co. in Barre. He moved to Minn., and became territorial salesman for the Granite City Tool Co. In 1956, he returned to the company in Barre, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Barre Congregational Church. Survivors include his wife, Deloris (Neidhart) Allen; two sons, William Jr. and Jeffrey Allen; two daughters, Deborah Dinagan and Susan Mascola; six grandchildren; a brother; several cousins.
