, 82, of Northfield, died Sept. 20. Born in 1915 in Elgin, ILL, he was the son of Wayne and Harriett (Gussman) Patch. He worked at the Fairbanks Foundry in St. Johnsbury and owned and operated Atlas Foundry in Concord. He had been a former resident of Peacham and attended Peacham Congregational Church. Survivors include his wife, Ruth (Erskine) Capron Patch; two sons, Richard and Wayne; two daughters, Arlene Thresher and Patricia Capron; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.

, 84, of South Randolph, died Sept. 22. Born in 1913 in Barre, she was the daughter of Edward and Florence (Durkee) Brown. She was educated in Brookfield and Randolph schools and graduated from Randolph High School. She was married to Clifford Sawyer, who died in 1957. In 1965, she married Wallace Adams, who died in 1993. She was a supervisor for Van Raalte Corp. and for a glove manufacturer in South Royalton. She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ in Randolph. Survivors include a daughter, Lora Barrett; two sons, Raymond and Roland; two step-daughters, Audrey Ward and Arlene Conant; three stepsons, William, Donald and Martin Adams; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren and 20 step-great-grandchildren.

, 77, of Hardwick, died Sept. 21. Born in 1920 in Hardwick, he was the son of Peter and Hazel (Downing) Perry. He attended public schools in Hardwick and graduated from Hardwick Academy. In 1944, he married Ruby Myrtle Hopkins. He was a stonecutter at Cook, Watkins and Patch in Barre, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the United Church of Hardwick. Survivors include his wife; a son, David; two daughters, Diann Ross and Susan Limoge; three grandchildren; three brothers; a sister; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

, 90, of Barre, died Sept. 26. Born in 1907 in Bromptonville, Quebec, he was the son of Jean Gagne and Clara Pellerin. He attended the Richmond School and Danville College. He moved to Barre in 1929 and in 1936, married Therese Cloutier. He was employed as a granite finisher. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Fernande Henson, Diane Button and Louise Dodge; five sons, Robert, Ronald, Michael, Paul and John Peter; 26 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

, 73, of Calais, died Sept. 20. Born in 1924 in East Montpelier, she was the daughter of John and Louise (Bancroft) Badger. She graduated from Montpelier High School. In 1946, she married C. Franklin Scribner, who died in 1980. She worked on the family farm and was a member of Calais Congregational Church. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Bouchard and Diane Scribner; a son, Charles; two grandsons; a brother; nieces, nephews and cousins.

, 80, formerly of Montpelier and more recently of Concord, N.H., died Sept. 23. Born in 1916 in Santander, Spain, he was the son of Jacinto and Nieves (Aja) Cano. He graduated from Montpelier High School. He was manager and supervisor of A&P Grocery Store in New England, retiring as manager of the A&P Store in Concord, N.H. He was a member of St. Peter's Church in Concord. Survivors include three sisters, Vicenta Bordas, Concha Buzzi and M. Nieves Bond; two brothers, Victor and his twin, Stephen; nieces, nephews and cousins.

, 50, of Randolph, died Sept. 25. Born in 1947 in Arcadia, CA, she was the daughter of Theodore and Mildred (Bramin) Duval. She was educated in California schools and Yuba College in CA. In 1967, she married Patrick O'Gara. She worked in a nursing home and later became a religious education teacher and a school librarian. Research of her genealogy, brought her to Randolph, where her father had lived. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Christopher, Ian and Ryan; a brother.

, 100, of Barre, died Sept. 25. Born in 1897 in Vinal Haven, Maine, she was the daughter of Harry and Gertrude (Smith) McIntosh. She attended Montpelier schools and graduated from Montpelier High School. In 1917, she married John Anderson, who died in 1956. They owned Anderson Brothers Trucking Co. In 1972, she married Noble French, who died in 1988. She had been the first female postal carrier employed by the Barre Post Office and later worked at Homer Fitts Co. and at Gray's Department Store. Survivors include three sons, John, Robert and George; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He attended Barre schools, graduated from Spaulding High School and Pratt Institute. He worked at Voorhes, Walker, Foley and Smith in New York as an architectural engineer until he retired. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Fern Macchi; several cousins.

He grew up in Plainfield, graduated from Plainfield High School and attended the University of Vermont. He served with the Navy Seabees during WWII. In 1946, he married D. Avis Hampp. He operated a farm in Craftsbury Common and was also an AI technician. He retired in 1965 from farming, and worked for Munson Earth Moving, retiring in 1983. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Jean Bezio, Susan Richarson and Carol Grondin; three sons, Donly Jr., Gilbert and Kevin; 10 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters; a brother; nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Montpelier Seminary School and earned an associate degree in education from the University of Vermont. In 1937, she married Armand Bouchard. She taught schools in Alburg but lived most of her live in the Northfield area. She was a member of the St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Northfield. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Paul, Pierre and Allain; three daughters, Anne Chase, Rachel Bouchard and Lucy Alburger; one brother; one sister; 29 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.

She received her early education in the Brookfield school system and graduated from Randolph High School. In 1926, she married Richard Wilcox, who died in 1996. They farmed the Gaylord Homestead in Brookfield before moving to Williamstown. They had lived in Randolph since 1964. Survivors include two sons, Gordon and Robert; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
