, 69, formerly of Washington, died Sept. 3 at her home in Skiatook, OK. Born in 1927 in Washington, she was the daughter of Theodore and Dorothy (Rushford) Bishop. She attended Washington Village School and graduated from Spaulding High School. She moved to Washington, D.C., where she was employed by the Department of Justice. She married Delmar Kabrich, who died in 1981. Survivors include a daughter, Judith Lochte; two sons, Keith and Bruce; five grandchildren; her mother; three sisters; a brother; nieces and nephews.
Sanborn, Eugene R. "Butch", Sr.

, 59, died Sept. 10. Born in 1938 in Stowe, he was the son of Cecil and Blanche (Preston) Sanborn. He had been married to Nancy (McDougal) Sanborn and in 1978, married Doris Belanger Sanborn. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He owned and operated Sanborn's Amoco Service Station in Morrisville and was more recently employed by Walker Imports in Barre. Survivors include his wife; four children, Kathy Jean Wright, Eugene Sanborn, Robert Meservey and Patricia Meservey; seven grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; nieces and nephews.

, 86, of Graniteville, died Sept. 10. Born in 1910 in St. Malo, Quebec, she was the daughter of Ernest and Angelina (Desmarais) Roy. She attended schools in Stanstead, Quebec. She was married to Alphonse Grimard in 1934, who died in 1994. They had moved to Graniteville in 1937. She spent her life as a homemaker, wife and parent and was a member of St. Sylvester Parish. Survivors include two sons, Marvel Joseph Grimard and Rene O. Grimard; two daughters, Lucille Grimard and Anna Mary LaCount; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

, 83, of Barre Town, died Sept. 10. Born in 1913 in Barre, he was the son of Giuseppe and Carolina (Viscontini) Ferrari. He attended schools in Barre and graduated from Spaulding High School. He was a veteran of the Army. In 1942, he married Phyllis E. Seger. He and the late Arthur Brown, operated the Central Cab Co. in Barre. He was a clerk at the Vermont State Liquor Store, retiring in 1968. Survivors include his wife; a brother, Enzo Ferrari; several nieces and nephews.

, 87, of Northfield Falls, died Sept. 6. Born in 1909 in Northfield, he was the son of Ray and Anna (Grover) Hazelton. He graduated from Northfield High School and was a member of the Army National Guard. During WWII, he was an aircraft mechanic for the Navy. He worked for the Farnham automobile dealership in Barre and Montpelier and for Bean Chevrolet in Northfield. He later operated his own machine shop in Northfield, known as the P&H Shop. He retired in the mid-1970s. Survivors include a son, Peter; a daughter, Bonnie (Mrs. Christopher) Oakman; a sister; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

, 57, of Montpelier, died Sept. 7. born in 1940 in Kingston, N.Y., he was the son of Thomas and Edna (Schuppin) Plunket. He attended Kingston City schools and graduated from Oakwood School in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He attended Norwich University in Northfield and Carroll College in Wisconsin, where he obtained a bachelor of science degree in psychology. In 1965, he married Nancy Finch. He was employed by the State of Vermont, working for the Corrections Department in St. Albans and the Highway Department in Montpelier. He was with the Mental Health Department, was in personnel and more recently was a housing specialist. Survivors include his parents; his wife; two sons, Thomas and Benjamin; a sister; nieces and nephews.

, 81, of Randolph, died Sept. 10. Born in 1916, she was the daughter of Jerry and Bessie (Cady) Eastman. She was educated in Etna and Hanover, N.H. schools. In 1947, she married Albert Tatersall, who died in March. She was a housekeeper in the Lebanon, N.H. area. Survivors include her daughter, Alberta Rose; two grandchildren; a great-grandson.

He was a junior at Montpelier High School and attended the Barre Area Vocational Center at Spaulding High School, enrolled in the culinary arts program. He was employed at M&M Redemption Center and at Fiddleheads restaurant. He was a member of the Montpelier High School soccer and hockey teams. Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Mark and David; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Bunning; his paternal grandparents, Mark and Maria Redmond; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

, 85, formerly of Barre, died Sept. 5. Born in 1911 in Iron Mountain, MI, she was the daughter of Rev. Herbert and Pearl (Kinney) Campbell. She graduated from the former Montpelier Seminary and later attended Boston University and Gifford Hospital School of Nursing in Randolph. In 1932, she married Ego Parnigoni, who died in 1978. In 1985, she married Ronald Pilbin, who died in 1988. She was a member of the Hedding United Methodist Church and was active in the North Barre Community Church and Chapel. Survivors include her sons, Dr. Richard Parnigoni and David Parnigoni; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters; a brother; nieces and nephews.

In 1929, he married Marjorie Orcutt, who died in 1955. He and his brother owned and operated a farm and later he worked for the Marvin-Cooley Dairy and for Booth Brothers, retiring in 1968. He was a member of St. Augustine Church. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Percy, Elizabeth Boisvert and Virginia Garand; two sons, Edward and Steven; 30 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a brother; nieces and nephews.

He attended Barre schools and graduated from Spaulding High School and attended the University of Vermont. In 1941, he married Louise Dodge. He served with the Army during WWII. He began working for the U.S. Post Office in Barre in the 1930s, retiring in 1967. He was employed by the Vermont Highway Department from 1967 to 1973 and later in the materials laboratory and also worked in the parts department of Houle Auto and as a delivery man for Modern Printing. He was a member of the Barre Universalist Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Whitney and Terry; seven grandchildren.

She attended public schools in Randolph and Morrisville and graduated from Greensboro High School and from Johnson State College with a degree in elementary education. In 1946, she married Stewart Daige. She was a teacher at Johnson Elementary School, retiring in the 1970s. She was a member of Greensboro Bend United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband; a son, Stephen; a daughter, Kelly Daige; two grandchildren; a brother; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He served in the Navy during WWII. He had been a salesman for Swift Meatpacking Co. and later owned and operated a dairy farm in Johnson. He was a member of Lyme (N.H.) Congregational Church.
