, 55, of Lower Websterville, died June 30. Born in 1942 in Plattsburgh, N.H., he was the son of Howard and Mary (Harris) Reeves. He attended schools in Plattsburgh and graduated from Our Lady of Victory High School. In 1961, he married Isabelle Sherman. He was a house painter and for the past 30 years, worked for Rouleau Granite Co. in Barre. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lisa Commo and Jessica Commo; a granddaughter; a brother; a sister; nieces and nephews.

, 55, of Barre, died recently. Born in 1941 in Lac Megantic, Quebec, she was the daughter of Philorum and Delvina (Jacques) Badeau. She attended elementary school in Canada, St. Monica School in Barre and Spaulding High School. She was formerly of Norwich, Conn., where she was employed as a nurses aide. Her husband, William R. Boyce, is deceased. Survivors include two sons, Brian and Roger; a daughter, Rhonda (Mrs. Francis) Tash Jr.; two grandchildren; her mother; 10 brothers; four sisters; many nieces and nephews.

, 14, of Cabot, died June 29. Born in 1983 in Frankfurt, Germany, he was the son of Floyd R. and Donna (Firkey) Earle. He would have entered his freshman year at Cabot High School in the fall. One of his favorite pastimes was playing basketball. Survivors include his parents; maternal grandparents, Harold and Dorothy Firkey; maternal great-grandmothers, Rita Firkey and Charlotte Manning; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

, 87, of Northfield, died June 27. Born in 1909 in Jersey City, N.J., she was the daughter of Oscar and Marion (Case) Lang. She attended schools in Jersey City and Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. She had lived in N.J. for 38 years and was assistant librarian at the Englewood Public Library. She had lived in Northfield since 1980 and was a summer resident of Tunbridge. She was a member of St. Mary's Church (Episcopal). Survivors include her husband, Francis Ingoldsby; two daughters, Joan Brown and Elisabeth M. Ingoldsby; two sons, Francis Jr. and Roger; five grandchildren.

, 75, of Barre Town, died July 3. Born in 1922 in Corinth, he was the son of Joseph and Florence (Parker) McGranaghan. He received his education in Corinth and served with the Army during WWII. He had worked for various construction companies, and more recently was a scrap metal dealer and hauler. Survivors include his daughter, Susan Willis; two sons, Richard and Roger White; several grandchildren; a sister; a half-brother; several nieces and nephews.

, 88, formerly of Barre, died July 2. Born in 1908 in Barre, she was the daughter of Lackey and Nora (Murphy) Good. She was educated in Barre City schools and graduated from Spaulding High School. She graduated from Trinity College with a degree in English and received a master's in counseling from Boston University. She entered the Sisters of Mercy of Vermont in 1927 and professed her vows in 1930. She taught at Cathedral Grammar School and Cathedral High School in Burlington, Marian High School in Barre and St. Mary's in Middlebury. Survivors include her sisters in religion, Sisters of Mercy of Vermont; a sister, Sister Aileen Good.

, 88, of Northfield, died July 2. Born in 1908 in Northfield, she was the daughter of Charles and Nellie (Hassett) McNamara. She graduated from Northfield High School and later from the University of Vermont. She was a teacher in Berlin, attended the Albany Business School and went to work for the Selective Service. She joined the Internal Revenue Service, working as an auditor for almost 40 years, retiring in 1973. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Northfield. Survivors include a brother, Wilson McNamara; a sister, Maxine McNamara; five nephews; four nieces; 16 great-nieces and nephews.

, 62, formerly of Randolph, died June 30. Born in 1935 in Randolph, he was the son of Frank and Nettie (Chamberlin) Lamb. He received his early education in Randolph, graduated from Randolph High School and from Alexian Brothers Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago, ILL. He was a career Army nurse, retiring as a Lt. Col. He attended the Incarnate Word College in Texas, the University of Hawaii and Tripler Army Nursing Corps School of Anesthesia. He and his wife, Addie (Flint) Lamb, moved to Texas in 1985. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Arlene Libby; a brother; two grandchildren.

In 1937, she married Delmer Hutchinson. She was a parent, homemaker and grandparent and was active in the local and school community. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Janice Brooks and Lois Manning; two sons, Calvin and Jay; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters; her step-mother, Ida Colby; nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was employed at the Vermont Agency of Transportation traffic shop, retiring in 1986. In 1949, he married Barbara Banks. He served with the Army during WWII. He was employed by the town of Greensboro until 1951. In 1948, he married Wilfred Chaloux. They bought a farm in North Greensboro. Survivors include his wife; six children, Linda Dimick, Leona Pike, Rose Bothfield, Erwin Salls Jr., Wilfred Salls and Edward Salls; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She graduated from Commerce High School in Springfield, Mass. and Westfield (Mass.) Normal School. She taught elementary school in Feeding Hills, Mass. Her husband, James Hibbard, died in 1964. She lived in Montpelier for almost 50 years where she was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ. She was a Red Cross volunteer and a volunteer at Central Vermont Hospital. Survivors include a son, J. Lawrence Hibbard; a daughter, Margaret Miller; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a niece and several cousins.

, 85, formerly of Montpelier, died July 8. He owned and operated a painting contracting business in Montpelier and was a member of St. Augustine Church. He had lived in North Concord for the last 12 years, and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in St. Johnsbury. He and his wife, Hattie (Coutermarsh), were foster grandparents for several area children with the Futures Unlimited program at Northeast Kingdom Mental Health in St. Johnsbury. His wife died in 1996. Survivors include a daughter, Norene (Mrs. John) Emerick; five stepchildren, Theresa Arusiewicz, Anna Marie Spaulding, Deanna Coutermarsh, Ernest Coutermarsh and Delores Coutermarsh; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren.

He had been in the granite business, was employed by Fred George as a truck driver and later was a self-employed truck driver, retiring in 1970. He served in the Army. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Ronald, Ralph and Gary; two daughters, Maxine (Mrs. Richard) Baldwin and Barbara Norman; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother.

, 80, of Barre, died July 7. Born in 1916 in Bethel, he was the son of Victoriano and Jennie (Rossi) Valle. His family moved to Barre in 1927. He attended schools in Barre and graduated from Spaulding High School. He was a veteran of the Army, having been an infantry paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division. In 1946, he returned to Barre and was manager at Barre Wholesale Grocery, later became a partner of C&C Clothing and then worked for Walker Motors for 37 years. In 1942, he married Helen Mary Mulcahy, who died in 1957. In 1960, he married Lucy M. Moore, who died in January,1997. He was a member of St. Monica Parish. Survivors include his son, Thomas Sr.; two daughters, Anne Figelman and Patricia Denison; seven grandchildren; two sisters; a brother; an aunt.

, 69, of Randolph, died July 10. Born in 1927 in Scranton, PA, he was the son of Stuart and Marjorie (Smith) Barton. He was educated in Maryland and New York schools, Boston College and graduated from Boston Law School. He had been a practicing attorney in Massachusetts until 1989. In 1951, he married Evelyn Green. He moved to Randolph in 1990. He was a ski instructor at Suicide Six in Woodstock, served as section manager of the American Radio Relay League and taught line dancing on the Vermont Technical College campus. Memberships included Sts. Donation and Rogation Church in Randolph. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife; a son, Justin Jr.; five daughters, Ann Marie Barton Sullivan, Mary Barton Rau, Susan Barton Bunker, Carol Barton and Eileen Barton; six grandchildren.
