, 81, formerly of South Woodbury, died Dec. 5. She was born in Damascus, Ohio, the daughter of John Carl and Florence Christine (Delis) Zimmerman. She was educated in Ohio, graduating from Oberlin College, receiving her Librarian's Degree at the University of Michigan. In 1937, she married H. Kenneth Gayer. She served as a professional librarian in St. Louis, MO, Bloomfield, Conn. and most recently in the Washington, D.C. public library. In 1978, she retired with her husband to their farm in Woodbury. She was a member of the Unitarian Church in Montpelier. Her husband died in 1991 and she moved to Falmouth, Maine in 1993. Survivors include four sons, Alan, Gordon, David and Peer; one daughter, Janey Gayer Hall; one brother; 23 grandchildren.

, 91, of Cabot, died Dec. 13. Born in 1905 in Manchester, N.H., she was the daughter of Charles Blakey and Edith (Caldwell) Blakey. She attended school in Barre Town. In 1921, she married Thomas Mose Cerasoli, they later divorced. In 1943, she married Roman Kurz. She and her husband owned and operated C&K Cheese manufacturing firm in Cabot until his death in 1953. Survivors include her son, Thomas; three daughters, Helen Wald, Virginia Barnett and Marion Griggs; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

, 78, of Randolph, died Dec. 16. Born in 1918 in Lynn, Mass., he was the son of William and Mabel (Farnum) Full. He was educated in the public schools in Marblehead, Mass. He graduated from Massachusetts Nautical School and worked as a second and third mate for several steamship companies. He served in the Navy during World War II and later was a Naval Reserve officer. In 1943, he married Arlene Lockwood and moved to Randolph in 1987. He worked as a plant superintendent and vice president for Robert F. Lewis Inc., a book binding company in Mass. and later in Woodstock. He retired in 1983. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Elaine Lawson, Cynthia Pawlek and Rebecca Maker; two brothers; two sisters; six grandchildren.

, 75, of East Montpelier, died Dec. 14. Born in 1921 in Newton, Mass., he was the son of Cyrus Yale and Gretchen (Salsich) Ferris. He attended Tabor Academy and later received a BS from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He served with the Navy during WWII. He graduated from MIT and worked with the Great Northern Paper Co. in Maine. He came to Vermont in 1950 and worked as chief engineer at Rock of Ages Corp. and in 1966 became owner and president of New England Label Co., retiring in 1988. In 1974, he married Marguerite Hayes Ward. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tikhon and Cyrus III; one daughter, Dale Ferris Phillips; seven grandchildren; three brothers; one sister; six nieces and seven nephews.

, 76, of Northfield, died Dec. 18. Born in 1920 in Randolph, she was the daughter of Albert and Avis (King) Dales. She graduated from Randolph High School. In 1946, she married Francis William Partlow, who died in 1988. She worked for the Nantanna Woolen Mill in Northfield, retiring in 1967. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (Mrs. Roger) Davis; two sisters; two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

He attended St. Michael's School and graduated from Montpelier High School and from New York University. He worked for the American Red Cross. In 1950, he married Margarete Eifler, who died in 1991. He served with the Army during WWII. Survivors include a brother, Dr. Ernest Tomasi, MD; a sister, Marguerite Tomasi, RN; several nieces and nephews.

He attended public schools in Williamstown and graduated from Williamstown High School. In 1940, he married Lila May Briggs. He worked in construction and concrete con-tracting and maintained a masters electrician license. He worked for Lacillade Lumber for over 50 years. He was a member of the United Federated Church of Williamstown. He served on the Williamstown School Board and owned and operated the Williamstown Village water system. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Irene Walbridge, Louise (Mrs. Francis) Mier and Christine (Mrs. Richard) Sonenblum; one son, Jim; six grandchildren.

Born in 1919 in Stowe, she was the daughter of Willard and Ruth (Glover) Tyler Sr. She was educated in Moretown, graduated from Waterbury High School and attended Johnson College. In 1938, she married Raymond Joy, who died in 1983. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Graniteville. She volunteered for the Central Vermont Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop and had served as an assistant Girl Scout leader. Survivors include one daughter, Marjorie Holmes; a granddaughter, Kathleen Murtagh; three brothers; 11 nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Norwood High School and earned her teaching degree at Keene Normal Teacher's College in Keene, N.H. In 1943, she married Mahlon George Chamberlin, who died in 1991. She taught in Northfield, Riverton, Montpelier and Northfield, retiring in the late 1960s. Her memberships included the Northfield United Methodist Church. Survivors include two brothers, Edward Verderber and Arthur Verderber; a step daughter-in-law, Shirley Chamberlin; one niece, Margaret Stanton; two nephews, Edward and Phillip Verderber; nine step-grandchildren.

She and her husband operated a farm in East Hardwick until 1959 and then moved to Hardwick. She was a member of the Court of St. Varonica Catholic Daughters of America and the St. John the Baptist Society and a communicant of St. Norbert's Church in Hardwick. Survivors include two sons, Andre Fournier and Roland Fournier; one daughter, Rollande Utter; one sister; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.

They moved to Montpelier after his discharge; she died in 1959. He worked as a finish cutter in the granite industry, retiring in 1977. In 1964, he married Bertha (Cannon) Hall. Survivors include his wife; two step-sons Joseph Kearney and Roger Hall; four step-daughters, Beverly Fisher, Virginia Robinson, Janice Fifield and Patricia Russell; three sisters; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. .

She was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Brooklyn, N.Y. and worked as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in Scranton, PA, until retirement. She attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Pittson, PA. She was married to Captain Gustave Sundberg, who died in 1992. Survivors include her daughter, June; two sons, Gustave and Thor; grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Marco; one grandson; two sisters; one brother; one niece and several nephews.
