, 75, of Waterbury Center, died March 27. Born in 1921 in Underhill, she was the daughter of Robert and Della (Odette) King. She attended schools in Hinesburg. She was first married to Regionald Durand, who died in 1970. In 1978, she married Andrew Abair Sr. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. Survivors include her husband; a son, Benjamin Durand; a step-daughter, Cheryl Abair; three step-sons, James, Thomas and Andrew Jr. Abair; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four brothers; nieces and nephews.

, 88, of Barre Town, died March 25. Born in 1909 in Barre, he was the son of Giacomo and Electra (Lizzari) Cecchini. He attended schools in Barre and graduated from Spaulding High School. In 1931, he married Ruth Copping. He had been a registered pharmacist and he and his wife owned and operated Cecchini Pharmacy in Barre until 1968. He later was director of pharmacy at the former Barre City Hospital and pharmacist at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, retiring in 1976. Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert; two granddaughters; a brother; a sister; three nieces and a nephew.

, 88, of Hardwick, died March 21. Born in 1908 in Hardwick, she was the daughter of William Henry and Charity (Bromley) Heath. She attended Hardwick public schools and graduated from Hardwick Academy. In 1928, she married Arthur Lewis Smith, who died in 1949. She had been employed as a social worker by the State of Vermont. She had attended the University of Chicago. She retired in 1974. Memberships included the United Church of Hardwick. Survivors include three sons, Arthur Jr., John and Bert; one daughter, Francesca Horton; two sisters; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

, 68, formerly of Waterbury, died March 22. Born in 1928 in Waterbury, he was the son of Joseph Victor and Marie (Forrest) Dufresne. He served in the Air Force during WWII, Korea and Vietnam, retiring in 1968. In 1954, he married Mary Ann Kalivoda. He had been employed at Warren Molded Plastics, retiring in 1991. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Donald, Phillip and David; one daughter, Rosemarie (Ria) McIlduff; two brothers; five grandchildren.

, 96, of Barre, died March 21. Born in 1900 in Rockport, Mass., she was the daughter of Carl and Ane (Nielsen) Anderson. She moved to Connecticut, where she graduated from Deep River High School and later from Bay Path Institute in Mass. She taught at the Washburn (Maine) High School and at the former Goddard Seminary in Barre. In 1922, she married Alexander Straiton, who died in 1955. She was a member of the Barre Congregational Church. Survivors include a son, Deane; a daughter, Anne Conlin; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

, 94, of Barre, died April 8. Born in 1902 in Rezzato, Italy, she was the daughter of Angelo and Barbara (Savoldi) Benvenuti. She moved to Barre with her family in 1913 and attended schools there. In 1921, she married Guido Bettini, who died in 1983. She was a member of Hedding United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Thelmo; two daughters, Thelma (Mrs. Roy) Wark and Vilma (Mrs. Gildo) Pinchetti; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

, 95, of Chelsea, died April 6. Born in 1902 in Poland, she was the daughter of Mary Kochauska and Caroll Jarose. The family came to the United States and settled in New Jersey, where she attended schools. In 1925, she married Leonard Krzywosinski, who died in 1960. She moved to Chelsea in 1967 to live with her daughter. She was an accomplished quilter. Survivors include her daughter, Rita Edwards; one son, Alfred; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

The family moved to Washington state, where he attended schools, graduating from Vancouver (Wash.) High School. He was with the Army Signal Corps during WWII. He graduated from Norwich University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and worked first for Westinghouse and then for Hamilton Standard, retiring in 1984. Memberships include the Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lois (Pierce) Tutherly; one daughter, Diane Resly; two grandsons.

He worked for New England Telephone, United States Park Service, Bechtel Corp., O'Brien and Gere, the Department of Water Resources, Paulsen Associates and Camp Dresser and McKee in Indonesia. He was self-employed from 1977 to 1996, building a small con-sulting engineering firm. Sur-vivors include his wife, Carol Schaffer FitzPatrick, whom he married in 1963; two daughters, Sandra (Mrs. Thomas) Vitzthum and Heather (Mrs. Edward) Pierce; three grandsons; his mother; two brothers.

In 1965, she became employed at Goddard College in the food service department and was a switchboard operator. She also served as an adviser, a counselor and a teacher in the Adult Degree Program. In 1943, she married Silvio Cerutti, who died in 1992. Survivors include two daughters, Judith Fowler and Inda Loso; two sons, Maurice and Dean; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister; nieces and nephews.

In 1933, she married Geogre Thuren, who died in 1977. She had worked at Heaton Hospital, the former Airport Restaurant, at Jones Rest Home and at the Gary Home for the Aged. She retired in 1988. Survivors include a son, Carl; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters.

She graduated from the College of William and Mary and worked in New York City for the Department of Social Services. She married Ben Morreale, they divorced in 1983. She had lived in Paris and worked with displaced persons at HIAS, the Jewish Social Service agency. In 1959, she came to Vermont. She taught Latin and English and French at Twinfield High School, Burlington High School, Peru (N.Y.) High School and at Plattsbury (N.Y.) High School, retiring in 1986. Survivors include her sister, Leah Leibowitz Jaffe; two nieces and a nephew.
