After his marriage carried on the Nelson farm two years; rem. to McIndoes in 1897; engaged in the meat business successfully seven years; sold out to the Gochee Brothers and bought the Hazen Ford farm south of Barnet village. Brought the land to high state of fertility, erected modern buildings and engaged extensively in handling livestock, lumber and hay; held various minor town offices.
