Christopher Emmet Chandler passed away on Dec. 9, 2017. A funeral was held in New York, N.Y., on Dec 27, 2017, at The Church of the Ascension in the West Village. A portion of his ashes will be interred in the Lyndon Center cemetery. Friends and family, some of whom were not able to attend in New York, will gather on Aug. 18 at 11:30 a.m. for a short graveside ceremony. The location is not far from his childhood home in Lyndon Center, and the date falls during the time he would traditionally visit Vermont. Following the ceremony at approximately noon, we will encourage one another with remembrances and reflections on his life at the nearby home of Brett and Amy Gale (215 Center Street). A BBQ luncheon will follow. We hope classmates, and friends can join the family for this celebration. You can join us in the cemetery or come directly to the house at noon.
