Patricia B. Farmer, 84 passed away Friday, January 12 at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, New Hampshire surrounded by her loving family.
Pat was born on August 17, 1933 in Lyndonville, VT. She was raised in East Burke Vermont by her parents, Clifton (Pete) and Arlene Burrington. She was a 1951 graduate of Lyndon Institute.
In September 1980, she married the love of her life, Robert G. Farmer. They lived in Lunenburg Vermont until relocating to Florida where they made their home for 27 years in the Port St. Lucie area. In August 2017 they returned to her home to be closer to her children.
Pat was an avid reader and crossword enthusiast. She loved playing Tuc with her family and friends. Cooking/baking was her passion and she enjoyed sharing this with others.
She belonged to a laryngectomy support group where she made lifelong friends and helped others with the same challenges.
She was an active member in her church and her strong faith guided her until the end.
She leaves behind her husband: Robert G. Farmer; Daughters: Marilyn (Brian) Lovell, Nancy (Ron) Davidowicz, Gayle Fong, Lauri (Kevin) Cincotta, Sylvia (Peter) Pettingill, Donna (Harry) Shamberger, and Dana (Brad) Weekes. Sons: William (Lisa) Farmer, Robert (Lise) Farmer and Steven Farmer.
Grandchildren: Patrick Clow, Cheria Rollins, Carrie Clow, Christine Clow, Joseph Clow, Chad Davidowicz, Cain Davidowicz, Paige Davidowicz, Joshua Cincotta, Anthony Cincotta, Meagan Monroe, Ian Bolstridge, Karac Shamberger, Harry Shamberger III, Henry Weekes II, Bradford Weekes Jr., Reed Weekes, Christine Farmer, Tommy Farmer, Jonathan Farmer, William Farmer, and Joshua Farmer; 11 Great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Siblings Verneda (Lonnie) Lindsay, Maxwell (Ray) Sargent/Trail, Freeman Burrington, Marlene (Wayne) Grimes, Durwood (Sharon) Sargent, Cheryl (Dennis) Dwinell, Bette (Joe) Neiman and Tim (Jill) Hanson.
She is predeceased by twin sons John Reed and Joseph Todd, Parents: Clifton and Arlene Burrington, birth mother Eda Davis Hanson, Brothers: Seldon Sargent, Ralph Burrington and Sister: Melanie Carson.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held at a later date. An announcement will be made beforehand.
