, 90, of Derby Line died on March 9, 2011, in Newport. She was born June 23, 1920, in St. Thomas d?Alfred, Ontario, a daughter of Joseph and Marie Laure (Charbonneau) Lamarche. Mrs. Fluet farmed for Earl Hackett, worked at Indian Head Plywood, and retired from Butterfield?s in 1985. She enjoyed cooking, making big meals for her family, dancing, playing cards, and working in her vegetable garden. She also had a love for horses. She is survived by her children: Sue Gagne and her husband, Patrick, of Derby Line, Mary McCabe and her husband, Robert, of East Hartford, Connecticut, Andre Boissonnault and his wife, Ginette, of Springfield, Gerald Boissonnault of East Falmouth, Massachusetts, Marcel Boissonnault and his wife, Darlene, of Cambridge, Bobby Boissonnault and his wife, Linda, of East Falmouth; by 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Marie Laure Lamarche; by husbands Roland Fluet, Romeo Meunier, and Paul Boissonnault; by her son Rene Boissonnault and his wife, Jeanne; and by four sisters and five brothers. Funeral services were held on March 14 at St. Edward?s Catholic Church in Derby Line where a Mass was celebrated. Spring interment will be in St. Edward's Cemetery. of Brownington died on March 10, 2011. She left this world, as we know it, fighting, the last of five siblings. She was a daughter of Dora (Stokes) Owen and Isac Edward Owen of Laurel Hill, Florida. Born in 1936, she married U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Sergeant Royce Glodgett in 1954. They made their home in Brownington. She leaves four children: William Glodgett of Brownington, John Glodgett and his wife, Susan, of Barton, Peggy Glodgett and Gary Ewen of Woodbury, and Nancy Sweeney and her husband, Carrol, of Albany; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be at the convenience of the family, graveside in Brownington Village. , 57, also known as J.R., of Derby died in the early morning hours of March 10, 2011, in Burlington surrounded by his loving family and friends. Mr. Hoadley was the first child of the late Orison R. Sr. and Dorothy (Stevens) Hoadley. On March 6, 1976, he married Judy Nason who survives him. He grew up in Evansville and he enjoyed driving his cars, fishing, shooting guns, and chasing the girls. He was a wholesaler for local auto dealerships. He owned K and A Taxi Service in Newport, and he also had a scrap removal business. He is survived by his wife, Judy Hoadley, of Derby; by daughters Kelly Turgeon and her husband, Larry, of Irasburg, and Annie Hoadley of Derby and her former husband, Dale Crews Jr., of Orleans; by his grandchildren Melissa and Katelyn Turgeon; and by the following brothers and sisters: Steve Hoadley and his wife, Robie, of Evansville, Ronald Hoadley and his companion, Theresa Bernier, of Evansville, Becky Gale and her husband, Bill, of Brownington, Barbara Warner and her friend, Cecil Davison, of Brownington; by half sister Mona Bent and her husband, Leonard, of Orleans; and by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by infant son Orison John Paul Hoadley on September 1, 1985. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 18, at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home at 4670 Darling Hill Road in Newport with Pastor Dan Prue officiating. Marielle Theresa Morin ....show
, 79, of Derby died peacefully on March 11, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 14, 1931, in Holland, a daughter of Rufus and Dorilda (Lussier) Patenaude. On August 6, 1951, she married Gaston Morin who predeceased her on August 2, 1973. She and her husband farmed in West Charleston until he died and later moved to Derby where she established Morin Development. Throughout the years she also had a childcare service. Mrs. Morin enjoyed sewing, cooking, and working in her flower gardens. She was very proud of her home and what it offered and loved being there. She was also especially proud of her children and their accomplishments. They were taught to work for what they wanted, to be considerate and respectful of others, and to be there for one another. She was able to see these values passed on to her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children: Michael Morin and his wife, Gail, of Keene, New Hampshire, Claire Houghton and her husband, Burkett (Bubba), of Morgan, Denis Morin and his wife, Carole, of Windsor, Larry Morin and his companion, Fae Kerr, of Derby, Bobby Morin and his wife, Faye, of Derby, Linda Nadeau and her husband, Marc, of Newport, and Kathy Monty and her husband, Greg, of Newport Center; by her cherished (20) grandchildren: Valerie, Marielle, Jonathan, David, Ryan, Gaston, Mitchell, Landen, Colby, Tiffany, Ashley, and Shelby Morin, Jacques and Hailey Nadeau, Nick and Trevor Monty, Deanna Clark and her husband, Samuel, Matthew Houghton and his companion, Alicia Wheeler, Daniel Houghton and his fianceé, Melissa Labor; and by her cherished great-grandchildren Olivia Houghton and Aurora Clark; by the following brothers and sisters: Raymond Patenaude of Newport, Joseph Patenaude and his wife, Lucille, of Derby, Leo Patenaude and his wife, Mercedes of Newport Center, Jeannie Lague and her husband, Bert, of Derby Line, Anita LaFleur of Orleans, Rose Gravel of Valcourt Quebec, Cecile Wheeler and her husband, Merle, of Derby, and Rita Gobeil and her husband, Raymond, of West Charleston; by sisters-in-law Carmen Morin of Newport, Simone Menard of Newport Center, and Agathe Morin of Holland; and by numerous nieces and nephew and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on March 15 at the St. Edward's Catholic Church in Derby Line where a Mass was celebrated. Jose R. Perrault ....show
, 47, died on March 12, 2011, in Newport. He was born on October 28, 1963, a son of Robert and Rose Ange (Lanctot) Perrault of Newport Center. He graduated from North Country Union High School in the class of 1982. In school he joined DECA, the school board, and Newport Ambulance Service, becoming the youngest EMT at that time. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy, serving in Navy hospitals in Naples, Italy, and Charleston, South Carolina. He left the Navy in 1986 to work for his parents in the recycling business, operating in the St. Johnsbury company. Then he joined UPS as a driver, moving up to become an international account executive. In June of 1999 he earned his bachelor of arts degree from Norwich University. He left UPS for a job as a federal agent in the Federal Motor Carrier Administration where he worked until he died. He also worked a secondary position as the bar manager for American Legion Post #21 of Newport which he was very active in. He also held membership in the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries #4329. He enjoyed cruising, returning this past summer to Italy. Mr. Perrault loved hanging out with his friends and family. He had a great sense of humor that put a smile on everyone's face. He will be sadly missed. He leaves his parents, Robert and Rose Ange Perrault, of Newport Center; his devoted partner of 20 years, Rick Besaw, of Newport Center; his brothers: Carl Perrault and his wife, Sheryl, and Bruno Perrault and his wife, Theresa, all of Newport Center; his sister who was like his second mom and best friend, Manon Perrault and her husband, Sonny Sloan, of Newport Center; Mr. Besaw's family; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, and uncles, cousins and his many friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, at St. Mary?s Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Newport where a Mass will be celebrated. Military honors will follow at the church. Felicia (Flis) Woolsey ....show
, 59, of East Charleston died on March 7, 2011, in Newport. She was born on July 11, 1951, in Manhattan, New York, a daughter of John and Mary Flis. She received a bachelor's degree in education from St. John's University and a master?s degree in education from the University of Vermont. Ms. Woolsey was an educator who will long be remembered in her community for her sense of humor, storytelling ability, and love of life. She was passionate about teaching her students life skills including how to write well, communicate ideas effectively, and enjoy good literature. Former students often visited her to express their gratitude for the ways that she touched their lives and the lessons she imbued. Even as Ms. Woolsey faced serious health problems, her courage and sense of humor always shone through. Her insatiable curiosity transformed her medical issues into opportunities to learn and reflect on the complexities and beauty of life. Her storytelling ability always highlighted the humor she saw in even her most trying experiences. Above all, we will all miss the joy of being in her presence and the privilege of being a part of her narratives as audience and actors. She is survived by all those who loved her: her husband, Bill Woolsey; brother John Flis; nieces Tatiana Flis and Ariana Nester; mother-in-law Dolores Woolsey, sisters-in-law Phyllis Triarsi and Susan Sova; her beloved dog Harris; and many many more. A celebration of her life will be held this spring (her favorite season). , 92, of Glover, formerly of Newport, died on Sunday, February 27, in Glover where she resided at the Union House Nursing Home for the past few years. She was born on October 30, 1918, in Lunenburg, a daughter of Philip and Loretta (Hartshorn) Guillemette. Her hobbies included reading, doing crossword puzzles, and enjoying her family and life in general. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her son Philip and his wife, Sharon Dukett; her daughter Darlene Rever and her husband, Gary, all of Newport; grandchildren Cathy and Scott Rever of Derby; Tracy Turner of Farmington, Connecticut, Lisa Reed of Newport, Leon Dukett of West Charleston, Amy Buck of Newport Center and Scott Gervais of St. Johnsbury; by her great-grandchildren: Tyler and Trevor Brown of Derby, Cady Polgroszek of St. Albans, Aidan Davis of Newport , Joshua and Natasha Buck of Newport Center; by great-great-grandaughter Emma Polgroszek of St. Albans; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Abel Sr.; by sons Thomas and Leon Dukett; stepdaughter Gloria Thomas; and by several brothers and sisters. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Pine Grove Cemetary. , 55, of Underhill died on February 5 in Underhill. He was born in St. Johnsbury on May 2, 1955, a son of Geraldine Carriere and Maurice Carriere. He worked for the Visiting Nurses Association. He had lots of hobbies, including fishing and doing a lot of different crafts. He is survived by friend Tina Meacham; son Aaron Meacham; his mother, Geraldine Carriere, and her companion Donald Farnsworth; brothers Douglas and his wife, Diana, Peter, Tony and his wife, Melody; sisters Sharon and her husband, Kevin Sabens, and Carlene Perry; aunt and uncle Doris and Richard Meserve; aunt Alice Caswell, aunt Helena and uncle Dale Ewens; and lots of nieces and newphews. He was predeceased by two wives; his father, Maurice Carriere; and a sister, Darlene Carriere Dixon. A funeral will be held on May 7 at 2 p.m. at the Lyndon Center cemetery.
Mary Alice (Hamil) Dunn ....show
, 87, died on Sunday, February 20, 2011, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in New Harmony, Indiana. She was born in Troy, New York, on October 20, 1923, the oldest of two children, to John and Elizabeth (O?Keefe) Hamil. She was an Irish descendent of Mary Queen of Scots. She married George Bernard Dunn Jr. in 1944 in Schenectady, New York. They had three children, one daughter and two sons. Mrs. Dunn was blessed with seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dunn had worked as a dental hygienist. She was quite a seamstress and had made several wedding gowns, one for her daughter and several for friends. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting and had made over 100 afghans, most of which were given away. She was an avid collector of Hummel figurines, dishes and spoons. At Christmas time, Mrs. Dunn would make dozens of cookies to be enjoyed by family and friends. She traveled to Switzerland and England. She had lived in New York, Lynn, Massachusetts, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Royal Palm Beach, Florida, and recently in Mt. Vernon and Evansville, Indiana. She had numerous friends in each place she had lived. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years, George; and her brother, James Hamil. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Peg) Redwine, and her husband, James; sons James Dunn and his wife, Kathleen, and Gerald Dunn; grandchildren Heather Ricketts and her husband, Tony, Nichole Faulkner and her husband, Doug, James Ramsey, Eric Miller, Sarah Sidler and her husband, Adam, Hannah Dunn, Lieutenant Colonel James Redwine and his wife, Gina; great-grandchildren Alec and Adrian Ricketts, Kerstin Sutton, Paxton and Jonathan Faulkner, Bodie and Clea Miller, Cali and Aiden Sidler, Nick and Elyse Redwine; sisters-in-law Ann Hamil and Ellen Beaudoin and her husband, Albert; and by nephew Bob Brown and his wife, Rachel. A funeral service was held on February 28 at the United Church of Craftsbury in Craftsbury Common. Spring interment will be in the Craftsbury Common cemetery.

, 30, of Johnson died at Copley Hospital in Morrisville on Thursday, February 24, 2011. She was born in Newport, January 1, 1981, a daughter of Durwood Johnson and Marielle S. Faust. On July 15, 2003, she married Michael D. Lane. She loved everyone; especially her children and family. She collected zebras, loved fishing, and was proud of her three-and-a-half-pound trout mounted on the wall. She loved fried chicken and enjoyed a ride in a snowstorm. Due to multiple sclerosis (MS) she was confined to her home for eight years. For the last three, she was confined to her bed. She leaves her loving and devoted husband, Michael; a son, Clinton Stevens, of Eden; daughter Makayla Stevens of Johnson; her mother, Marielle Faust, of Orleans; two brothers, Travis Terrell of Orleans and David Johnson of Maine; sister Kelly Robinson and her husband, David, of Newport Center; maternal grandparents Romeo and Alice Faust of Orleans; her father-in-law, Leslie Lane, of Laconia, New Hampshire; and sister-in-law Harriet Corbin and her husband, Bill, of Laconia. A memorial serivce will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, at the White-Fiess Funeral Home in Morrisville. Her final resting place will be in St. Theresa's Cemetery in Barton.
Marjorie Webber ....show
of Wharton, New Jersey, and Newark died on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, New Jersey. She was born on November 2, 1924. Mrs. Webber was an executive secretary to the national director of distribution at RCA Records, Rockaway, until 1980. She then worked in the patent law division of the legal office at Picatinny Arsenal until 1987, then at Cigna Healthcare in Rockaway as secretary to the director of finance from 1990 until 2000. She was a member and past president of the Wharton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, president of the United Methodist Women of St. John's Church, and a member of the Leisure Club of Sacred Heart Church in Dover. She also attended the Newark Union Church and the Island Pond Congregational Church of Island Pond. She was predeceased by siblings William Hubbard, Lenora Hubbard and Charles Hubbard. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William Webber Jr.; by daughter Ginny Vanorskie and her husband, Lou, of Schooley?s Mountain, New Jersey; by four sons: James Hubbard and his wife, Ellen, William Webber III and his wife, Gail, and John T. Webber, all of Wharton, R. Gerald Webber and his wife, Kathy, of St. Johnsbury; by eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on February 25 at the funeral home. Interment followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Washington, New Jersey, 40 East Church Street, Washington, New Jersey 07882-1485.
