Dwight C. Webber Jr., 40, of East Haven, died peacefully Wednesday morning Dec. 26, 2012, at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born Jan. 17, 1972, in St. Johnsbury, the son of Dwight and Lorraine (Wood)
Webber Sr. He graduated from Lyndon Institute in 1990 and then entered the U.S. Army.
On May 8, 1999, he married Deborah Simpson. Dwight worked for the last several years as a postal clerk in the Newport Post Office.
A kind and gentle man who always had a smile on his face, Dwight cherished the time he spent with his family. Maple
sugaring with the family and making wine with his dad were special times for him. Hunting, fishing, gardening and being a
dad to his two young children brought him much pleasure also. He was an active member of the East Burke Congregational Church.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Webber, and their two children, Anneliese Grace and Levi Pete Webber of East Haven;
his parents, Dwight and Lorraine Webber Sr. of East Haven; his sister, Carrie-Ann Webber and Kent Derosier of East Haven; his
mother-in-law, Janet Gilman of Lyndon; three brothers in-law, Mark and Janet Simpson of Lyndonville, Jeff and Mary Simpson
of Lyndonville, and Mike and Wendy Simpson of Barnet; his father-in-law Reg Simpson of East Haven; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and good friends.
He was predeceased by an infant sister, Tina Marie Webber.
Funeral services will be held in Lyndonville on Saturday, Dec. 29, at 3 p.m. at the Lyndonville First Congregational Church
with the Rev. Judi Horgan officiating. Spring burial in East Haven Cemetery will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 10
a.m. There will be no visiting hours. Donations could be made to the Dwight Webber Jr. Memorial
