CUSHMAN: Scott Allen, 40, of Rock Springs, Wyo., formerly of
St. Johnsbury, passed away June 26, suddenly, near his home
in Wyoming as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born
in St. Johnsbury Oct. 8, 1963, the son of Charles and Patricia
(Farman) Cushman. Scott graduated from Lyndon Institute in 1981 and served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. In 1993,
he moved to Wyoming and became employed by Halliburton. In Rock Springs, he was active in the American Legion and
enjoyed hunting and fishing. The past few years he enjoyed
attending motorcycle rallies and riding his Harley Davidson. He is survived by his Halliburton family and a close circle of
Wyoming friends. He is also survived by his parents, Charles
and Pat Cushman of St. Johnsbury; four siblings, Charles and
Melinda Cushman of Parsonfield, Maine, Dean Cushman of Rock
Springs, Wyo., Bruce and Anna Cushman of St. Johnsbury, Kim
and Chad Rowell of Kirby; stepdaughter: Amanda Ruffing and
her daughter Brianna of St. Johnsbury; several nieces and
nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins. He was predeceased
by a close cousin, Vincent Farman, in 1993 and close friend,
Dan Petty, in 1986. Funeral services will be held this Saturday,
July 3 at 11 a.m. at the Cushman residence, 1872 Mount Pisgah
Road, with the Rev. Dr. Robert A. Potter, friend of the family,
officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Johnsbury Center Cemetery.
