Kevin E. Davis, 53, of Lyndonville, Vt., died peacefully Friday, Sept. 2, 2016,
at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., surrounded by his family.
He was born on Dec. 19, 1962, in St. Johnsbury, Vt., the son of Eugene C. and
Sheila (Goss) Davis. He attended schools in Lyndon and was a 1981 graduate of Lyndon Institute.
Kevin worked for Beattie Crushing and Screening in Lyndonville from 1981-1994 he then went to work for the Town of Lyndon where he worked until his passing. He also worked with Dennis Bouffard at Lyndon Truck Center
for many years. He was one of the Directors at the Caledonian County Fair and also head of maintenance at the fairgrounds.
He enjoyed Demo Derby's, hunting and fishing, camping and loved to ride his motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Davis of Lyndonville, Vt.; two daughters,
Samantha Davis and her companion Dan Guest of Lyndonville, Vt., and Nicole Davis of Lyndonville, Vt.; two sons, Jonathan Davis and his wife
Christina of Sutton, Vt., and Michael Davis of Lyndonville, Vt.; one grandson, Matthew Davis; one sister Tamela Davis Hastings of Lyndonville, Vt.; and a
very special friend Dennis Bouffard; one sister-in-law, Melody Persons and her husband Dewey of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; one brother-in-law Larry Norrie
and his wife Nancy of Lyndon, Vt., and his mother-in-law Charlotte Norrie of Lyndonville, Vt., many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Sheila Davis; his father-in-law, William Norrie; and two brothers-in-law, Gary and David Norrie.
A celebration of Kevin's life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 11 a.m.
to 2 p.m. at the Caledonian County Fairgrounds in Floral Hall. There are no calling hours.
