HUNT: Lorena G., 48, a Sutton resident, died Sunday, July 20, 2003, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the
daughter of Charles A. and Ina R. (Descoteaux) Belanger. She
was born Dec. 10, 1954 in Coaticook, Quebec, Canada. She was
a member of the Worldwide Church of God in Montpelier, active
in the Sutton School and served as the secretary/treasurer of
the parent teacher organization for a time. She was involved in
the Foster Parent program, sheltering youths. She enjoyed the
peace and tranquility of her home and family, and also enjoyed
swimming with family and friends in the area lakes. She was a
dedicated wife, mother and a hard worker who will be greatly
missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her
husband, Leslie I. Hunt, and two sons, Ira C. and James C., all
of Sutton; a brother, Charles Belanger and wife Colleen of
Sutton; in-laws, Robert and Rita Hunt of Haverhill, Mass., and
James Hunt and companion Viola Merrill of St. Johnsbury; her
Caledonian-Record and church families; and extended family in
both the U.S. and Canada. A memorial service will be held
Saturday, July 26 at 3 p.m. at the Guibord Funeral Home,
located on the corner of Main and Center streets in Lyndonville.
