Robert L. Switser, 64, of Concord, Vt., died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016 at NVRH in St. Johnsbury, Vt. He was born on Aug. 9, 1952 in St. Johnsbury, Vt. the son of Robert E. and Catherine (Powers) Switser. He attended schools in Burke and was a graduate of Lyndon Institute. Robert was a truck driver and owned and Operated BS Enterprises in Concord, Vt. for many years. He loved trucking, the ocean, working on cars, four-wheeling and snowmobiling and attended car auctions. He is survived by one son, Shane Switser and his wife Emily of Lyndonville, Vt. and their five children Olivia, Colby, Ella, Lucas and Natalie; one great-grandchild Sophia; his companion Sue Cross of Concord, Vt. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Catherine Switser and one son Robert J. Switser. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday Nov. 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Family Lot in the Hillside Cemetery in West Burke, Vt. There are no calling hours.
