Doris A. Boulay of Lyndonville, Vt., died suddenly at
Darthmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.,
Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at the age of 57. She was born Dec.
1
3, 1949, to Raymond and Marguerite (Patoine) LaBree. Doris
graduated from Lyndon Institute in 1968. Her father passed
away July 10, 2006. Doris had been receiving cancer
treatments for the past three years but died when an
undetected tumor caused her unexpected death. She and
husband Bernard co-owned Boulay's Auto on Route 122 in
Lyndonville. Doris was an active member of St. Elizabeth's
Church and enjoyed volunteering at Lyndon Institute. She made
her family first and foremost in her life. She loved traveling,
being at Old Orchard Beach, Maine, shopping, anything NASCAR
and being at the family camp in South Wheelock/Stannard. She
is survived by her husband Bernard; her mother Marguerite
LaBree of Lyndonville; her grandmother Rosa Patoine of
Hardwick; three children, Scott Boulay and wife Susan of
Knoxville, Tenn., Melissa Hall and husband Stacy of East Burke,
Vt., Laura Leonard and husband Jerry of Lyndonville; three
grandchildren, Elizabeth and Cassandra Leonard and Josh
Welch; brother Robert LaBree and wife Susan of Lyndonville.
Visiting hours will be held at Guibord Funeral Home Friday
evening from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated
Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Church, with a luncheon
following at the Breslin Center. Burial will be at the convenience
of the family at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Lyndonville. Memorial
