Kenneth E. Nutting, 64, of Lyndonville, died Monday morning March 18, 2013 at his home.
He was born April 22, 1948 in Lyndon, the son of Ronald and
Thelma (Robinson) Nutting. He graduated from Lyndon Institute in 1966.
Kenneth then joined the Vermont National Guard where he served for a few years. In 1969 he married Donna Quinn.
For many years he worked with George Lund as a carpenter.
Later he worked for VT Flexible Tubing in Lyndonville for many
years as well. He was a member of the Tom Breslin Center of
Lyndonville. Hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, pitching horse
shoes and playing cards were some of his favorite pastimes.
Survivors include his son, Ryan Little and wife Genevieve and
their son Quinn of Oakdale, Conn.; his mother, Thelma Nutting
of St. Johnsbury; his brother, Robert Nutting and wife Shirley of
Lyndon; his two sisters, Linda Carlisle of Hampstead, Texas and
Rhonda Kenney and husband Douglas of Danville; a brother in-
law, Henry Olcott of East St. Johnsbury; and many nieces,
nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father; his
wife, Donna in 2002; and two sisters, Florence McGill and Barbara Olcott.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of
the family. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Island Pond.
