MILLER: Jo L., of Goffstown, N.H., died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at home surrounded by family and friends following a
lengthy illness. She was born in Clarksburg, W.Va., Nov. 6, 1945, the daughter of Ret. Army Major Harold E. Miller and
Mary Anne (Cain) Miller, and had been a resident of the area for
many years. She graduated from Lyndon Institute in
Lyndonville, Vt., in 1965. She worked at the Hillsborough
County Nursing Home for 17 years before working for VNA
Hospice for six years prior to her illness. Family members
include her life partner of 33 years, Suzanne Poirier of
Goffstown, N.H.; three sisters, Jean Chase of Passumpsic, Vt.,
Johnna Daigneault of St. Johnsbury, Vt., and Susan Babcock of
Gardner, Maine; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and
grandnephews. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Tech
Sergeant Jan R. Woolson. Calling hours will be Sunday, Nov. 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the J.N. Bouffard and Sons
Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester, N.H. A Mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m.,
in Sacred Heart Church, Manchester, N.H. Burial will follow in
Mount Calvary Cemetery.
