Cheryl A. Coolbeth Olson, 68, of East Weymouth, Mass., and a Lyndonville native, passed away at the Brigham and
Women's Hospital in Boston, Mass., on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, of a heart-related ailment.
Cheryl was born in Lyndonville on Dec. 10, 1943, the older daughter of Ernest
and Beverly (Simpson) Coolbeth. She graduated from Lyndon Institute with the
class of 1962 and was pleased to have attended her 50th reunion this past June.
She married John M. Olson Sr. April 3, 1982 and moved to
Weymouth, Mass. Previously she had worked as a cashier at
Edmund's Pharmacy and White's Market both in Lyndonville.
Until retiring five years ago, she worked the night shift as a
pharmaceutical technician at the CVS Pharmacy in Weymouth.
She is survived by her father and mother Ernie and Beverly
Coolbeth of Lyndonville; Cheryl and John's twins Jillian Louise
Olson and Karl William Olson both of Weymouth, Mass.,
Cheryl's older daughter Donna Laferriere and her husband
Lionel of Lyndonville, and John's son John Olson Jr. of Quincy,
Mass.; grandchildren; sister Judith Taylor and husband Steve of
Lyndonville, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visiting hours will be held at the Guibord Funeral Home this
Friday evening, Dec. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. and will conclude with a
prayer service led by the Rev. Judi Horgan beginning at 7:45 p.m.
