Nancy Janeen Newland Camber, 62, of South Wheelock, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at home.
She was born in St. Johnsbury Feb. 23, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Clinton Newland Sr. and Ada (Easterbrooks) Newland. She graduated from Lyndon Institute in 1961. She worked at St. Johnsbury Trucking for 20 years. She bought a home in South Wheelock in 1976 and spent her remaining years in South Wheelock.
She loved playing cards and doing puzzles with her friends and family. She also enjoyed shopping, cooking, fishing, berrying, and trips to Florida, Washington State, Maine, Oklahoma, Maryland and Oregon.
She is survived by her mother, Ada Newland; son, David Camber and his wife Sue; son, Timothy Camber and his wife Rebekah; her daughter, Pamela Bona; seven grandchildren, Brian Camber, Andrew Camber, Samantha Camber, Sarah Camber, Timothy Camber, PFC Dominic Bona and his wife Karen, and Logan Bona; brothers, Clinton Newland Jr. and his wife Pamela, Winston Newland and his wife Loraine, Milton Newland, Layton Newland and his wife Wendy, Denton Newland and his wife Debbie; her sisters, Maelene Watson and her husband Bryant; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Burial will be this spring in the Woodmont Cemetery, located in East Burke.
