Lois Avis Noyes, 75, passed away at the St. Johnsbury Health & Rehab
Center, Saturday night, September 26, 2015, where she had been a resident since 2013.
Lois was born in Lyndonville, VT, on December 30, 1939, daughter to the
late Clarence Reginald and Gladys Evelyn (Wheeler) Dwyer. She was
raised and educated in Lyndonville graduating from Lyndon Institute in the
Class of 1960 and has lived in the area all but a short time from 1981 to 1996 when she lived out west, mainly Colorado.
Lois was a member of the Lyndonville Methodist Church, was a hairdresser for over 10 years,
enjoyed gardening, picking berries and canning, playing horseshoes, avid
reader and spending time with family and friends. For 51 years she was
married to her beloved Lawrence Alden Noyes, who passed in June of 2013.
She is survived by her 2 children: James Noyes and his wife, Colleen, of
Colorado Springs, CO, Theresa Noyes and her husband, Shawn
McCandless, of Lyndonville, 2 brothers: Reginald Dwyer and his wife,
Barbara, of E. Lyndon, Walter Dwyer and his companion, Lynn, of Lyndon
Center, her sister: Carolyn Fassett and her husband, Cleveland, Jr., of
Lyndonville, 2 grandchildren: Ashley and Felicia Noyes and several nieces
and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Cindy Ann Noyes and 3 brothers:
Kenneth, Stephen and Ronald Dwyer. A Graveside Service will be held at 11Am on Friday, October 2, 2015, at
the William Dexter Cemetery, Route 122 in Sheffield with Barbara Dwyer officiating.

Association, 300 Cornerstone Drive, Suite 128, Williston, VT 05495.
