Clara Ann (Willey) Johnson, a long time resident of Sutton, died peacefully at home on April 6, 2019. She was born March 14, 1937, in Lyndon Corner, Vt., the daughter of Charles Carl Sr. and Edith Lillian (Sefton) Willey. She graduated from Lyndon Institute, worked at Ralston Purina and married Richard H. Johnson Sr. on June 19, 1956. Together they had six children: Richard H. Jr. (Lesa), Clara A. Davis (Timothy), Brenda J. Tanner (Robert), Jean M. Corrow (Scott Holmes), Jeffrey S, and Joan J. Squires (Daniel). There are five grandchildren: Billy Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Anthony Corrow, Casey Tanner and David Johnson and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister: Alice J Taylor and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both parents and one brother: Charles Willey Jr. Later in life she went to work at Weidman Electrical Technology, until her health started to fail. She loved to play cards with family and to go to cribbage tournaments. She also enjoyed playing horseshoes and bowling. There will be no calling hours or service. Instead the family has opted to have a Celebration of Life. This will be held at the VFW, Hill Street, Lyndonville, VT from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2019.
