Marguerite (Margo) Jeanne Wright, 85, was released to heaven at 8:00 pm on July 4, 2019, the sound of fireworks surely celebrating her welcome home. Margo was born in Montreal, Canada and was raised in Lyndonville, VT. She followed her sister to Albany, NY after graduating with near perfect scores in academics and attendance from Lyndon Institute. In Albany she worked at AT&T as a switchboard operator with "a voice with a smile". She met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) William Wright, through his sister, a coworker. They were married December 31, 1953. Through their loving union they had six children and lived in many different locations throughout the country due to his corporate career. Margo relished being a wife and mother, and taught all of her children to read at a young age so that they would have the joy of exploring ideas. She also taught them the virtue of hard work, to care for and about others, and to "make a difference where you can, don't blame yourself when you can't, and just keep trying". Margo's husband predeceased her in 1976. She lived a rich and full life, first raising her children and then contributing to their and their children's ongoing lives. Her devotion to God was absolute and she was held in high regard in the halls of her churches and in the hearts of her many friends. Margo is survived by her six loving children Stephen Wright, Kathryn Wright, Jeanne Wright, Wendy Wright, Theresa Starcher, Denise Wright and their spouses/significant others Kathleen McNalty, Mark Webb, Duane Cramer, J. R. Starcher, Scott Bernard; her grandchildren Mark Stevens, Robert Wright, Emily Roellig, Jack Starcher, Michael Starcher, Johnny Fitrakis, Jesselle Unger, Hana Marguerite Wright, Tyler Wright, Daniel Wright; and her great-grandchildren Kayla Iacovone, Logan Iacovone, and Addison Iacovone. She also predeceases her brother Joseph Leo H. Guenet Lt/Col USAF (ret.) and sister-in-law Hannah Guenet, and her sister Patricia Guenet. A memorial service to celebrate Margo's life will be held on Saturday July 20, 2019 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at:
