HYATT, Claire Inez Poissant, died September 4, 2017. Claire was born June 4, 1929 in Lyndonville, Vt. She graduated from high school at Lyndon Institute and became a Registered Nurse at Bishop DeGoesbriand Hospital in Burlington, Vt. Claire was predeceased by her loving husband, James B. Hyatt; and is survived by her children, Matthew Hyatt (Kimberly), Anne-Louise Hyatt and Christopher Hyatt (Anna). She is also survived by three grandsons, Brandon Hyatt (Angel), Tyler Hyatt and Christian Hyatt. She leaves behind her loving cat companion, Dory. A special thanks goes to the nursing staff at The Towers and to her devoted sister-in-law, Rebecca "Becky" Hyatt and brother-in-law, Onza Hyatt, who loved and cared for her. Claire touched so many people with her caring attitude, outgoing personality and New England sense of humor. In celebration of her life, friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, to be held at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 11000 Smoketree Dr., N. Chesterfield, Va., on Wednesday, September 20, at 2 p.m. A private interment ceremony will follow the Mass. Memorial donations may be made to Church of the Epiphany, 11000 Smoketree Dr., N.
